"9/10 overall, the food was fantastic, the service was friendly, and it offered great value. Our waiter provided excellent recommendations and was incredibly helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of the dishes. We enjoyed the mango lassi, garlic naan, daal makhani, and keema matar. As for improvements, the interior could benefit from a more modern and clean design. The dishes arrived slowly, but I’m not sure if that was because everything was freshly made."

"great food! personal is friendly. .but the only disappointment was on Sunday .the buffet. day. we waited too long until our drinks had to ask for them three times, and we waited for our nanbrot and had asked 2 employees. .it finally arrived when we finished our eating. a little late you wouldn't say. at least we went up and got another dish full of food. they just walked and cleared our table. took our naanbrot. was not happy"

"We booked for a party of three, we know the location and viewed the pictures on line..What we received was really disappointing , it did not resemble the photos in any way, except for the stand it was delivered on, the minuscule finger sandwiches were a little dry, three fingers per person..The scones were fresh warm and good…There was a mini type meringue with strawberries and a minute piece of millionaires shortcake..Along with an Enormous lemon posset that was easier to drink than eat with a spoon……. nice location, but sorry this cream tea was just a very average plate of cakes and sandwiches."

"An absolutely amazing restaurant. The staff and management are very polite, friendly and approachable. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, clean, bright and colourful. More importantly the toilets are very clean and fully equipped with toilet rolls and soap. Myself, my family and friends have never had a bad meal there. We always look forward to dining in Panas. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Twickenham."

"My wife had been to tea and cake at the Grange before and found it excellent. We decided to pop in for lunch on the off chance. Booking is normally essential to ensure that you get in. The Grange is the restaurant and cafe arm of Hearing Dogs for the Deaf and fronts the Southern Training Centre located in Saunderton between West Wycombe and Princes Risborough. The menu is modest, offers vegetarian and vegan options. Ingredients are excellent and of the highest quality. I opted for the fish and chips (hake, beer batter, minted peas and chips with a tartare mayo lacked bite for my taste) and the other half had the tomato and basil soup). Both were excellent. Prices are very reasonable and, of course, the profits go to the charity. The restaurant is, unsurprisingly, deaf friendly with echo eliminating ceilings and sound absorbing floors. Modern buildings and very doggy friendly. Tours of the training centre with or without cream tea are available. The decor is “rustic” and is entirely in keeping with the surroundings."

"My partner and I recently took a short trip to Edinburgh and decided to try Thai 2 Go Street Food after finding it on Google Maps while searching for Asian cuisine. A quick 10-minute bike ride from our hotel brought us to the restaurant, where we ordered food to go. The dishes were absolutely delicious! I had the red tofu curry, and my partner chose the shrimp pad thai. We also enjoyed pak choi and jasmine rice on the side. The flavors were authentic and brought back memories of our time in Thailand. The staff were very friendly, which made our experience even better. We will definitely be coming back to Thai 2 Go Street Food!"

"AVOID AWFUL customer service I ordered from here at least once every couple of weeks always the same order. Ordered today and was 20 minutes past the delivery arrival time before I called, the restaurant told me the driver is en route and will be with me in five minutes. A further half an hour passed I call the restaurant and I was told he left the food downstairs Driver did not bother to call me or ring my buzzer so my food was stolen and they refused to refund me or send me out another order"

"Exceptional dining experience, as always! The Tiffin Truck never fails to delight with their incredibly delectable and masterfully prepared dishes. The menu boasts an extensive array of choices, making it a pleasure to indulge in their delightful nibbles and appetizers, offering a diverse gastronomic journey. The Crispy Kale Chaat is an absolute must-try, leaving you longing for more, while the Chicken 65 leaves a lasting impression with its remarkable flavors. And let's not forget the dosas; they are simply a delightful embodiment of love and flavor. I am already eagerly anticipating my next visit, as it is unequivocally the finest Indian restaurant I have encountered."

"My first visit so I didn’t know that it was no easily accessible to those with mobility difficulties. I went with an elderly relative who relies on a stick to move around so the steps down to the restaurant was definitely a problem. Out of a wish to not disappoint, she slowly made her way down the stairs refusing to think about how she would leave. Staff was friendly and the restaurant wasn’t very busy. The food was tasty and we didn’t feel rushed. Will go again and recommend to others but wouldn’t recommend to those with a mobility difficulties."

"Fabulous meal Tasting menu experience. This place is a hidden gem, difficult to find it through google maps as it takes one to rear of the restaurant. Went for the Tasting menu choice it started with a fantastic amuse bouche Kale fritters… Black Chicken was a revelation delighted that I tasted it at Kahani Scallops with a pickled shrimp base, Nice Prawn tandoori was classic dish The guinea fowl tikka is treat too The sorbet was a just a break before the main dish the Somerset Lamb Chops served with potatoes dal makhani : Fabulous. Who wouldn’t be full by this time Make space for the dessert Chocolate delight with almond brittle caramel ice cream. The staff were accommodating as we asked for a few tweaks. Pity I did not meet the chef Peter Joseph. Kahani is not any kahani, it is a legend"

"We ordered the Beetroot Carpaccio with feta, spinach, and walnuts, and requested it as a main course, which was accommodated without any issues. However, we were disappointed with the dish when it arrived at our table. It was lacking in flavor and had grated carrot, which was not listed on the menu. The feta and walnuts were barely noticeable, and the dish seemed to be mostly comprised of spinach, beetroot, and carrot - possibly cheaper ingredients. We were expecting chunks of feta and walnuts to add some more depth to the dish, but unfortunately, it fell flat and was underwhelming. My own dish was good, but it was missing sautéed potatoes. Overall, the experience was dampened by the disappointing dish. Additionally, we were charged for a small bottle of water, while other diners received a complimentary jug. It was our first time at the restaurant, so maybe we were just unlucky that night. On a positive note, the staff were fantastic, and the restaurant had a beautiful layout."

"We tied the knot at The Rockpool (Lulas) in February and we just can’t thank Kate and her team enough for making it an absolutely unforgettable day! From the moment Kate stepped in to handle our wedding planning, she went above and beyond to ensure our special day went smoothly. With her guidance, we felt completely relaxed, knowing every little detail was taken care of. On the actual day, every little detail was attended to and our wedding guests all commented on how delicious the food was and everyone had such good time. We would highly recommend booking The Rockpool (Lulas) for your wedding as with Kate and her team running the show, you’ll be in very capable hands."

"Never again! Have not been there for 10 years and will Never go back. Not sure who paid you to write those amazing reviews or you never had any quality food and good service in you life probably. This is place is far from fine dining! Waiters come and go to your table in bunches, like 5 were servicing us on Valentine’s Day 2023. Only manager made and eye contact and somehow cared. The rest do not make any eye contact and look tired and fed up. Food is supermarket quality not joking) overprice and takes ages to get cooked and service is below 0. I never write reviews for restaurants unless I want to either warn people or really recommend a good place! In this care warning do not water your time and money."

"Myself and my partner have been coming here every few weeks for nearly a year now, even right now while we’re both kind of broke. We will continue to do so. The food is fantastic, the best curry i’ve had in london and the owner is always so kind and up for a friendly chat. We always get the same thing, which I imagine isn’t their priciest order, but we are never pressured to spend more (which makes a massive difference and keeps you coming back to a place). The same certainly can’t be said of other restaurants in the area, and particularly the road. Would give 10 stars if I could."
"Nice size and cheerful, relaxed atmosphere. Just pretty pricey for what it is, especially if you're on a student budget. Friendly service, despite the slightly weird lack of water jugs you'll be given a glass of water which is then refilled randomly. Food was nice and there is a good range of choice (including for veggies), but the pricing is just too high. Especially considering the place's proximity to city centre and therefore so many colleges and student accommodations, there should at least be student discount. We were charged around £9 for a very small dish of around 5 pieces of chilli squid, with a tiny dish of sauce that barely lasted. Soups are really yummy but, again, too expensive. The cheapest one is wonton and is around £13, for which i was expecting a portion far bigger than the medium bowl I got. Overall: nice, cheery experience, but the bill was over £50 for two people without drinks."

"I visited this restaurant with a craving for French onion soup. The food was incredible, I enjoyed every dish. It wasn't just good or decent, I would definitely return to dine there. We received black and white chocolates at the end since we were too full for dessert. The ambiance was somewhat upscale, with everyone dressed nicely. The only downside was that the tables were a bit close together, I could almost hear the conversations of the people next to me."

"We ordered a set menu for two priced at approx. £25/head. Drinks are expensive £7.50 for a Singha beer over £9 for a glass of white wine Pinot Grigio). The starters were very greasy and the mains were OK but smothered in chillis, which is OK of you like a lot of heat. No waterbowls are provided and paper napkins are wholly inappropriate given the amount of oil on the starters. For the prices they charge, proper cloth napkins should be the norm. A 10% service charge automatically added at the end of the meal makes it very embarassing to ask to remove it. There are far better places to eat in the locality offering better value. We won't be going back and will not be recommending the Lime Leaf to friends."
