A limited menu but there would likely be something for most tastes. Always advisable to book. Volunteers help to keep the place running, because it is part of the charity.

The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance with excellent service and delicious food. I highly recommend it and would definitely return. There is ample parking available and a great selection of items on the menu.

A good menu selection and friendly service. The added benefit is seeing fabulous service dogs who've either qualified or are still in training. Lots of outside seating too if the weather permits so that you can also enjoy the well kept gardens. View menu

Wow what a fantastic place. Lovely surroundings, free parking, delicious breakfast and friendly staff. Cannot fault it at all. The fact that the profits all go to the charity is the icing on the cake. Unsurprising it is popular, so booking is recommended.

We had made a reservation for afternoon tea for two, but had to wait 45 minutes for our platter to be served. The sausage roll was lukewarm, when it should have been either hot or cold. The Bakewell tart was dry, and the scones were overcooked and dry. Overall, it was a complete disappointment and not worth the money.

Visited 17.12.2022 for lunch, we were a group of 6 people. Service was excellent. We all had different meals, each one was delicious. Coffee and cake were also very good. Fair price and good portion size. Lovely environment to sit it. We were not rushed we were there for over 2 hours. Great value for money. Thank you to the volunteers for a very enjoyable few hours. Had heard lots of good reports on the restaurant so thought it was time to give it a go, so we visited for lunch with some friends (who had been before). So glad we did. The menu contained a good choice, the prices were reasonable, and when the food arrived it was good. Service was excellent and all of the staff were welcoming and friendly. I loved the fact that the staff were mostly volunteers so you couldn’t tip them but instead could make a donation to the Hearing Dogs. What’s not to like about the place? We’ll be back

I went to this restaurant for lunch with my mom. There was a spacious parking lot and we easily found a spot. We were welcomed by a friendly woman who seated us at our table. The menu had a decent selection, but I was surprised by the prices. We ordered the fish and chips, which were tasty but a bit expensive for the portion size. The food arrived quickly and the atmosphere was nice, especially with the presence of many adorable dogs. I still recommend The Grange, but I would only come back for a special occasion. Additionally, I want to mention that Hearing Dogs is a great charity, so please consider donating when you visit.

We like going to the Grange . It has a very pleasant feel and setting with nice grounds and it’s always nice to arrive there. The service is always excellent. The manageress lady with dark hair) is always very friendly as are all the staff. The manageress is exceptionally good and professional and would not be out of place running front of house in a Michelin starred place. The food is much better than when it opened and pretty good. Please bring back the chicken kimchi sandwich. That was brilliant. In terms of improvement , I feel the menu could be slightly more carnivorous . After all hearing dogs are carnivores? The menu to my taste has quite a lot of vegan options and not enough meat one... View menu
