"very small restaurant at the side of the pub. It was fine. Food was good but service was strange. They brought the prossecco but the waitress said she couldn’t open it so we did it ourselves (although sue said she would get someone who could)!. The 2nd bottle she brought it already opened. The band arrived in the pub so it got a little noisy but it was ok as we knew there would be a band playing that evening. The food was good."

"This restaurant is a hidden gem that exceeded expectations in terms of food quality. The only downside was the overcooked lamb in the madras dish, which prevented it from getting a perfect 5-star rating. However, the chicken corma was excellent with large chicken breast pieces and a tasty sauce. The bombay kartoffeln was also delicious. The fragrant and light rice complemented the meal perfectly. The prices were reasonable and the delivery was fast. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant again."

The food was outstanding, surpassing the quality of other Indian restaurants in the area that I have visited. "Had been looking forward to trying this place as had heard great reviews but unfortunately very disappointed. Ordered chilli garlic Prawns which did not contain peppers as described and the sauce tasted like chilli ketchup. Squid starter was the most disappointing, the batter was coming off the squid resulting in a congealed sauce which was thick anyway.. Shame about texture as sauce was flavoursome. . The butter chicken was lovely but quite spicy which is surprising as this dish is usually mild, unfortunately no indication of spice level on website otherwise would have asked for spice to be reduced. Placed order over the phone but now wished I placed it on website as they didn't apply correct meal deal, when asked I was advised the butter chicken was not classic curry and therefore not included in deal. Only checked when I returned home and this was one of the dish choices on website for the meal deals. This resulted in over charging me which is bit dishonest."

"I chose Everest Tandoori to organise a private buffet for a small get together of 40 people. Starting from the beginning, booking process was very smooth and easy. Staff were very approachable and friendly. On the day, food served was authentic Nepali and on time. The staff (especially Maya didi) there went out of their way to actually play the role of a host on our behalf and helped us all including guests feel like home. They also allowed us to run some of our private rituals as well. Overall, my experience has been excellent and price was exceptionally good value for money."

"I took my daughter out for a meal to this restaurant 1st impression were not that good there was 1 member of staff sitting in the middle of the floor on her computer doing all sorts laughing and fulling around quite of putting next the waiter came up to us and ask us did we want any poperdoms we asked were the free he said no and I said they were not on the menu as a charge so instead we decided to order a starter instead when it had arrived 20 minutes later bear in mind there were only 3 tables In the restaurant anyway as I tried to cut in to my onion bargie it was hard it looked like it had been heated in a microwave!! Next we had received our main course it was so sweet and full of suger to me looked like again microwave it was mush the chicken was burnt and hard disgusting I ate half of it my daughter s chicken corma well if you could call it that was the same and the colour of it was white never seen one like this before any we ask for the bill and left disappointed? That eaveing we both started having sour stomachs, we both just put it down to eating late, but the next morning we both had constant diarrhoea witch offervesley was what we had eating there that eaveing will not be going there again and certainly not be recommending this restaurant"

"Dinner for 2. Return visit as I had been previously during the Eat out promotion with a friend and food had been excellent. Food was still very good although we thought the mixed vegetable platter starter was a bit greasy. Staff were very good and we had a nice evening. We would still recommend as there are some nice choices of the menu that differ from our usual Indian."

"Took my family for a dine in expecting a high standard given some of the reviews but to my surprise the whole experience was utterly negative. First of all the place is not clean at all which makes me want to see the kitchen hidden behind a closed door! We were handed a menu which had sauce stain all over it, flies in the air, rock hard burger, under cocked ribs to name a few of the alarm bells. The irony is that they charge you a premium as if you are dining in 5 star restaurant. Not recommended at all."
