"I can't say enough of this little caffe. fresh, clean ingredients, mostly made to home, and other ingredients are fresh made for food that everyone would enjoy. that is really a jewel hidden in the city of edinburgh. I'm so glad we walked on this street and landed in this caffe. if they happen to travel or a local in edinburgh, they do one like and visit this little but beautiful caffe. we had sandwiches with fresh bread and tried their homemade mushroom soup. very delicious! oh, and they also have baked and cake, only for the case that they want to dessert. I also had cappuccino and my wife of the elderflower sparkling water and she loved it."

"the hotel is located in fairview 10 minutes walk from the center of the city, it is a mix of newsagent, food business off-licence. sells lottery tickets also birthday/occision cards. long-term opening times, up to at least 11 o'clock, although earlier can be closed during the celebration. I'm mainly looking for a time to buy! friendly polite service."

"The Brasserie is a lovely decorated restaurant that played smooth jazz throughout our visit. As a birthday meal out, we were excited to try somewhere new in town. The first waiter was prompt at taking our drinks order, but barely apologised at the lack of gas (so no draught ales) and didn 't know too much about the bottled beers. Two couples order the charcuterie boards. The ciabatta bread was toasted and sharp, so it didn 't make for a pleasant bite. It snapped rather than crunched... And the rocket wasn 't dressed, so we were eating dry leaves. After this, the second waiter came to apologise that there wasn 't any creamy polenta to accompany the main, wild mushroom ragu, so he offered mashed potato or rice. When this meal turned up, there wasn 't any of the vegan cheese or rocket, which was also supposed to accompany the meal. What a waste of money, knowing that vegan cheese can be fairly costly. Nobody came to ask the party if the food was alright. We weren 't seen to for a good 30 minutes, despite being the only people in the restaurant. As well as the ragu, the steak dishes were underwhelming as well, even these salads weren 't dressed. Dry leaves make for a sad meal. We are sorely disappointed as we were really looking forward to the food here. The waiting staff were pleasant but didn 't have the experience or training that they really needed. A memorable moment: What 's the cheesecake of the day? Oh, it 's JUST the new york cheesecake. Just vanilla. Don 't undersell your food! Just vanilla is still great!"

"I already wanted to go one after katsouri deli, I went one past the window and a huge sausage caught me the eye. Since then, I knew I liked this particular delicate thing. too midday in the week this place is absolutely heaving. the employees are super efficient, they must be! that was not long. there is a series of options for lunch and an breakfast menu that contains an excellent full English. I had not made the full English, but his whole day available, so I took some care while I was on my delicious lunch, it looks like a hearty affair. "Daddy Donkey is a great place to get a quick lunch. Their burritos are really great and even though there is usually a long line to get your food, the service is quite quick, so the line actually moves quite fast. Their ingredients are great and are quite fresh and they use delicious sauces so you don't need to get anything too complicated to be happy. Their standard Daddy D Burrito is great and I especially liked it with their chicken which is marinated for hours. The only issue with Daddy Donkey is that if you have time and want to sit to eat there, there are only two tables and they are usually taken which means you can pretty much only get the food as take-away."

"Location, service and food were good. Problem was that of the 7 of us that dined there on Saturday night, 6 were vomiting by the next morning. Not been this ill in 20 years, and just recovering 24hrs later. The common denominator was maybe the olives to start. Real shame as it’s a lovely place with good service and food. I’ve got to question the hygiene practices after such an experience as I’ve been fortunate to never have had gastroenteritis in the UK, as I’m usually very careful. The added irony is that I’m a Gastroenterologist."

"Wonderful food at MyLahore! Traditional Karahi, seekh kebabs and chicken stir fry were delicious with soft naans/rotis and refreshing mocktails. And to finish the best desi chai Really helped having a parking attendant outside who guided us to an easy parking spot opposite the restaurant. Really cosy, spacious and clean seating areas, we were given a very warm welcome by Sharjil Waqas who looked after us and recommended the dishes. Thank you Sharjil!! Our first visit and won’t be the last!! Highly recommended"

"We were given 2 options of dinner 6 or 8 We chose 6 A bit early but I’d rather eat earlier than later We arrived at 5.45 and walked in on a very wet and windy day We approached the staff and told them that we arrived Immediately we’re told you need to vacate the table at 7.30 As the table was booked again Most annoying I don’t like being told how quickly we need to eat Anyway not needed because the speed at we we were served was incredible This was our 2nd visit to TWP and our last visit 2years ago was delightful Ok it was August bank holiday and the weather was better but now hint of being hurried along However the food was good and we were out and on our way by 7.15 Note to staff Don’t drill your customers about time limitations It’s not good for the digestion or for your reviews on places like this Probably wouldn’t come again in a hurry"

"Last night we were the only ones in the restraunt at 7 on a full night, there was no menu, just a special card with 5. I chose sea bass when it was 45 minutes later it was overcooked. the Cajun chicken chosen by the woman was in the ground dry chicken and chips. we were at the mills at numerous locations, but will not go again when the dings improve"

"the food quality is fantastic, but when ordering via delivery trolleys their carving is delivered in a very small foil plate. that should be a full meal, but it is simply not enough for an adult adult. if there was a little more water or bor (both cheap ingredients) it would have been perfect, but I had to cook my own rice to coat it. I have never understood any places that skip like rice. hopefully take this feedback to bord."

"Placed a large order at 18:30 on the 19th September. Received a call around 30 minutes later informing me that they could not complete the order as they had ran out of tomato sauce I was told the order was cancelled but the order went to saying delivered 20 mins later and I have had no confirmation of any cancellation or refund. I tried contacting the store back on the day without any luck. Absolutely shocking way to treat a customer, especially when it was a large order for a party and I’m now considerably out of pocket"

"the food was delicious until I found this strange object in my mouth after taking a bite out of the vegan burrito. I have no idea what it is, I have complained about it, only received a refund for the purchase and the management did not contact me to advise what the object is after I promised to call me back. this was my first and will be my last experience to deal with this restaurant as I have never had such an experience in my life since I had eaten everywhere on the world, from New Zealand to Peru, that was by far the worst thing I have seen in my eating from a restaurant. the object seems to come from a meat source that I do not eat, so if they have any diet requirements, please be careful as it seems to cross-contamination in the kitchen in this building. later I found out that I was served bark in my vegan burrito and not the Tex-Mex jack fruit, so remember that they probably do not give them a vegan burrito! please be careful if they eat here in the future, as I hate that someone will be hurt by being on an object like this. updated by the previous review on 2021-07-11"

"Very disappointing. I booked private room for my 50th and had someone come to decorate room before arriving she advised me that the manager Darren was rude to her when she arrived and told her to stop whilst he was speaking to some random person. I was advised £20 per head and I paid for extra 2 as they couldn’t go but didn’t want to say. Now checking bill I have been given a £30 service charge which I was never advised about. After settling drinks and food bill no one came to me and asked if everything was ok, so we just up and left even though we had room for another hour and half. Wasn’t willing to spend any more money. Will say food was lovely and bar staff was pleasant enough. But just found the guy Darren very off not sure if he owner or manager but seriously needs to brush up on manners if he wants people though that door! Everyone asked me today how Bistro 210 was gave them the honest answer won’t be back!"
