"2 hours late. Phoned the place 6 or 7 times and received the answering machine every time. The first time I ordered, it said the pizza had already been delivered. I had to contact JustEat as I could not get through to the restaurant ^See how many times I rang them above^ Then, when they finally did show up with our pizza 2 hours later... I ask if we could have a full refund and the driver said 'No, partial ' and got back in his car and drove off. Moments ago, I receive a text message saying I will receive a £3 refund. £3?!!!!! For 2 hours late AND I tried to contact them via phone 6 7 times?! Sorry but what justifies a FULL refund then?!! ALSO, This has not been the first time I 've received bad customer service from this Pizza hut! I once ordered a pizza via JustEat and wanted to order it for a later time, as my partner would be arriving home late. So it all went through okay, so I had my earphones in listening to music because I wasn 't expecting anyone AT THAT TIME. And when I finally heard the door, I answer it and the man was really angry at me! I then rang Pizza Hut to which someone said that they do not receive the instruction of the TIME frame, of which it should be made for and that it is JustEats fault How is any of this excuse MY issue? Answer IT 'S NOT! AND ANOTHER TIME, I ordered 1 x GLUTEN FREE pizza and 1 X NORMAL CRUST pizza what shows up? 2 X NORMAL CRUST pizza 's. I can 't eat gluten way to go Pizza Hut! Seriously won 't be buying from here EVER again!!!"

"The attention to detail to have our reserved table with our names written on it was pleasing to see. The tumeric latte was lovely and warming. The salmon with eggs, new potatoes and hollandaise sauce was lovely and the right portion size and the Waffle fries were also delicious.The bagel for the salmon and cream cheese could have been better but overall was a lovely meal."

"I visited a charming coffee shop with a pleasant ambiance. While there was some confusion with my order, the server kindly clarified that the iced coffee drink I inquired about was not on the menu but was actually an iced latte. I also learned that customers need to order and pay at the counter, rather than having a server take their order at the table. I enjoyed a BLT sandwich, which was recommended to me by the same server who suggested the iced latte. The service was a bit slow, with my sandwich taking about 45 minutes to arrive, but the server apologized for the delay. Despite the wait, I found the atmosphere to be relaxing as I waited with a self-serve water jug and a good book on my Kindle. The sandwich was delicious, especially for those following a vegan/vegetarian diet. Overall, I had a positive experience and would recommend this coffee shop to others."

"We had a wonderful meal here whilst on holiday with our friends from the Island. The menu was inventive, but there were also traditional classics so plenty of choice for all. Extremely good quality and locally sourced where possible. All good! The portion sizes are very hearty, so I went for the small appetite option for my main course. As the restaurant offers various portion sizes, this enabled me to have 3 courses, instead of the usual 2 so I wasn't uncomfortable after the main and didn't miss out on a delicious dessert. This must be better in every respect happy customer, less waste and a better experience. I'm sure this doesn't reduce the profit of a restaurant, but adds to the experience of customers who have smaller appetites. Great ambience, lovely decor and very attentive staff. We will definitely visit again when we are next on the Island :"

"Having successfully deposited our eldest in her new Uni digs and having enjoyed an evenings kip in an adjoining Manchester hotel we were in two minds where to breakfast. MrsC’s growing angst over the likely state of our home after allowing our youngest free rein for a garden party proved persuasive so we decided on an early exit an victuals en route. A scan of Happy Cow and Google combined allied to our southbound travel threw up Wild and Wild as a convenient stop off before we rejoined the M6. Pleased to see that it opened at 10;00am on a Sunday whilst registering our likely arrival at 10:15 we added the required SatNav waypoint and trained our behemoth on its new path. There was convenient free parking on the Sunday and we ambled on the pedestrianised section to Wild and Wild; sitting slightly incongruously next to a Costa. The place is light and well laid out and an enticing array of cakes and pastries greets you as you enter. The usual instructive board informed us “to please wait to be seated” which we did. The young lady who appeared to be both front of house, barista and server said she would be with us after serving her present customer; which was fine but, in truth, simply having the menus on the tables and allowing you to sit yourself at empty unreserved tables would seemed to have been the least intrusive and effective means of managing the flow? Anyway we were handed drinks/food menus and then informed that we could, in effect, do exactly that and seat ourselves. The breakfast/brunch menu was concise but convincing and for speed and efficiency MrsC and I settled on two “full English”, vegan of course, and two oat milk lattes. Queued again and gave the order and paid there and then. Though we haven’t been out too much recently the coffee prices seemed about right but the breakfast seemed a tad high. Understanding how inflation is hitting that might just be an impression but if we had stayed in Manchester and returned to the Lounge a similar menu would have been 30% less. Then it started going awry. The wait for the coffee seemed long; the wait for the food almost interminable (around 40-45 mins in truth) Halfway through that wait another server had magicked into operation and it switched from queuing to order to table service. She was professional enough to highlight to new incoming customers that drinks would be about 10 mins/food 30. Something not considered worthy of note to us earlier arrivals. The breakfast was ok. The vegan sausages appeared homemade with rice wrapper “skins” but they were woefully dry and overcooked. The whole vine of oven roasted cherry tomatoes were good as was the star of the show the Smokey “baked beans”. The toast was good quality bread but cut too thin to successfully soak up both beans and the sweet tomatoes. The other components of mixed greens and mushrooms and tofu scramble were under seasoned and a little bland. The potato rosti was a little dense but ok. Sadly the food was underwhelming and more so due to the long wait; ill fitting the vibe and the surroundings especially as the place wasn’t heaving at any time. Always feel awkward knocking eateries in these uncertain times but, in this case, expectations raised by the feel of the place allied to the prices charged, we’re not met by the quality of the food. Perhaps it’s better suited to an afternoon cake and a drink session? Disappointed."

"The staff behind the counter were extremely rude, slamming phones and banging utensils because the person responsible for making the chips was late from his break. They showed no consideration for the customers waiting in the shop who had to listen to this unpleasant behavior. The chips were undercooked, white, and tasted like raw potato. Overall, it was a terrible experience."

"Lunchtime Indian seemed a good idea after a good walk in the morning, rather tired surroundings but decided to give it a go since you cannot always judge the quality of the food by the surroundings, however I was quite wrong. The vegetarian platter was 2 x samosa’s and a load of onion bhajis, technically a mix but far below what you would typically expect. The salad accompanying it was obviously in mourning for the summer having passed and seemed about as depressed by the decor than we were. The mains came with all the flair of a wet flannel. Soggy rice masquerading as pilau, mains ok but tasted as if the gravy came out of a bottle. Wife liked her vegetables so some consolation. The naan seemed more like a paratha and certainly had never seen the inside of a tandoor. If you love Indian food, steer well clear, it does not taste like the chef does!"

"I 've been here a few times. Always with mixed feelings. The food is tasty, and obviously wholesome. But the service is too slow, and I think they trade a bit on the goodwill of their target 'alternative ' audience as regards pricing and service speed efficiency. Today I bought three coffees, a brownie and a flapjack. It cost me £19. The coffee arrived after 10 minutes, maybe 5 minutes after the ready made food. That 's not good for such a price point. London prices without London service standards?"

"We arrived for our 6:30 PM reservation and were greeted at the door, only to find out that they weren't serving food because the chef had already left for the night. When we questioned why they had accepted our booking, they claimed to have no knowledge of it or the OpenTable app. This was extremely disappointing behavior. Don't bother going to this restaurant."

"Like all Pizza Express restaurants, there is a separate vegan menu with many options. I had the Veneziana Romana Pizza, but it wasn't as good as I had before in other Pizza Express restaurants and seemed to be missing ingredients. Only the sorbet was available for dessert when they ran out of carrot cake, and the soya cappuccino was crowned with a bad foam. The service was friendly and brought extra soy milk for coffee when asked."

"On arrival greeted by a waiter who was wearing a shirt that required ironing and jeans that needed a belt. Directed to a 4 person table, even though there were tables for 2 available. Ordered hummus as a starter for my partner, only to be informed that unlike every other restaurant in the world, it did not come with bread and this had to be purchased separately!! The chips were undercooked and the mixed grill came with a very soggy skinned chicken wing. Overall, the food, for what they were charging, was below par. Wouldn’t rush back to eat there again."

"Avoid this cafe for certain bad service shocking staff truly a big miss in my book. Arrived at 9.30 am departed at 10.55am no food and asked for my money back and left. They told me when I ordered there might be a short wait . So as I'm waiting along with 6 other tables one bloke walks in obviously regular sits down gets served straight away then a bit later another walks in served there food straight away while all 6 tables still awaiting food. Basically the chef and the helper are too busy talking and none cooking of food going on. Eventually after 1.5 hours of waiting two other tables walked in now the last one in then got served before us. After sitting in a freezing cold cafe no heating no drinks until 5 minutes before we left I'd had enough.. the coffee was horrid latter had congealed off milk around the cup like it had separated I nearly heaved had to by Victoria and being diabetic made it worse. I approached the counter wasn't rude and asked why have that 5able been served before us as they arrived at least half an hour after us. She replied your order needed hash browns Really my misses then just walked out 1.5 hours was a joke I asked for my money back and left. So we wasted one and a half hours sat there with no drink looking on at the counter seeing them laughing and eating behind the counter it was embarosing they should drastically improve there customer skills as no one will come here . Also at least 3 customer take away ordered goods left and asked for there money back. A 3rd member of staff came on shift and it actually was slower . My advice is if you want to serve food and stop delays try cooking the food or doing two orders instead of one at a time. This cafe is by far the worst service I have ever received in 40 years of cafes all over the country. I will never return and will actively tell all my friends avoid it."
