"The attention to detail to have our reserved table with our names written on it was pleasing to see. The tumeric latte was lovely and warming. The salmon with eggs, new potatoes and hollandaise sauce was lovely and the right portion size and the Waffle fries were also delicious.The bagel for the salmon and cream cheese could have been better but overall was a lovely meal."

"2 hours late. Phoned the place 6 or 7 times and received the answering machine every time. The first time I ordered, it said the pizza had already been delivered. I had to contact JustEat as I could not get through to the restaurant ^See how many times I rang them above^ Then, when they finally did show up with our pizza 2 hours later... I ask if we could have a full refund and the driver said 'No, partial ' and got back in his car and drove off. Moments ago, I receive a text message saying I will receive a £3 refund. £3?!!!!! For 2 hours late AND I tried to contact them via phone 6 7 times?! Sorry but what justifies a FULL refund then?!! ALSO, This has not been the first time I 've received bad customer service from this Pizza hut! I once ordered a pizza via JustEat and wanted to order it for a later time, as my partner would be arriving home late. So it all went through okay, so I had my earphones in listening to music because I wasn 't expecting anyone AT THAT TIME. And when I finally heard the door, I answer it and the man was really angry at me! I then rang Pizza Hut to which someone said that they do not receive the instruction of the TIME frame, of which it should be made for and that it is JustEats fault How is any of this excuse MY issue? Answer IT 'S NOT! AND ANOTHER TIME, I ordered 1 x GLUTEN FREE pizza and 1 X NORMAL CRUST pizza what shows up? 2 X NORMAL CRUST pizza 's. I can 't eat gluten way to go Pizza Hut! Seriously won 't be buying from here EVER again!!!"

"since the reopening, since the birdham pub has changed in the run of the years names) we have found our room to be perfectly sufficient (clean and comfortable) for our overnight stay. a beautiful new and thoughtful touch of this time is the supplement...bathroom accessories for those traveling who either remain unexpected or have forgotten a certain item. kissen were so comfortable I sneak a culmination at the manufacturer and ordered some online. never had a bad meal here, eating was always excellent, so pleased to see that this has not changed. we had the smaller version of the fish and chips and the teig was light and crispy, delicious. first-class breakfast directed us for the day, very attentive host. Yeah, the pub looks a little tired, but I'm sure the owners will recover in time. Don't let it stop you. total value for money."

"The staff behind the counter were extremely rude, slamming phones and banging utensils because the person responsible for making the chips was late from his break. They showed no consideration for the customers waiting in the shop who had to listen to this unpleasant behavior. The chips were undercooked, white, and tasted like raw potato. Overall, it was a terrible experience."

"DO NOT GET FLEECED BY THESE THIEVES. We were absolutely appalled last week after receiving our takeaway from the Spice Galleon at The Schooner Hotel in Alnmouth, Northumberland. We asked earlier in the day if they did takeaways and were told to go online for the menu and order by phone. I’ve listed the items as they were priced ‘online’ not on a printed leaflet that may be out of date). The total should have been £40.70, i had a drink while waiting so at £5 a pint should not have exceeded £45.70) but paying by card I didn’t check till we were eating it in our cottage and the bill stated £70.65! When i rang and complained they said the prices were pre corvid! There is no way we should have been charged £25 extra for such a despicable reason but if it’s online it should be up to date. In addition to this, the king prawn dish contained just 3 king prawns. "We arrived for our 6:30 PM reservation and were greeted at the door, only to find out that they weren't serving food because the chef had already left for the night. When we questioned why they had accepted our booking, they claimed to have no knowledge of it or the OpenTable app. This was extremely disappointing behavior. Don't bother going to this restaurant."

"The experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. We were seated at a table and ordered drinks, but when the waitress returned to take our food order, she failed to mention that they were out of toast, pancakes, and salted pork meat. We ended up ordering items that they also did not have. Instead of informing us that they were out of stock, they simply left us hanging, assuming we would not notice. Our drinks were served at some point, but the coffee came in a small glass without a handle, so we had to wait for it to cool down before we could drink it. It is unclear if they even have proper mugs. I would not recommend this place and will not be returning."

"Avoid this café at all costs – the service was terrible, the staff were unprofessional, and it was a complete disappointment. I arrived at 9:30 am and still had not received any food by 10:55 am. I decided to ask for my money back and leave. Despite being told my order would be ready shortly, I watched as other customers who arrived after me were served before me. The coffee was awful, with lumps of milk floating around the cup, making it undrinkable. The staff seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than serving customers. After waiting for 1.5 hours, with no drinks offered and no sign of our food being cooked, I had enough and demanded a refund before leaving. The lack of customer service skills and blatant favoritism towards certain customers was appalling. I have never experienced such poor service in all my years of dining out. I will not be returning, and I will be warning all my friends to steer clear of this place."

"On arrival greeted by a waiter who was wearing a shirt that required ironing and jeans that needed a belt. Directed to a 4 person table, even though there were tables for 2 available. Ordered hummus as a starter for my partner, only to be informed that unlike every other restaurant in the world, it did not come with bread and this had to be purchased separately!! The chips were undercooked and the mixed grill came with a very soggy skinned chicken wing. Overall, the food, for what they were charging, was below par. Wouldn’t rush back to eat there again."

"We arrived at 5pm for tea and had a lovely meal, the chicken and bacon with the melt was cooked to perfection, not dried out and covered in cheese to hide the fact that it's overcooked! The ribs and chicken breast with chicken wings etc.. etc... was also great...especially when Philomena brought me 3 lemon wipes to clean up! The churros sundae was great, authentic, warm and crispy churros almost a foot long with fudge brownie, ice cream and cream, and chocolate sauce! Hubby hardly ever has a pud but the Meal Deal, and the fact it was our anniversary, made it an option, so why not...Cheesecake one night was eaten and enjoyed, but the Sticky toffee pudding and custard silenced him for a good 10 minutes! I have to say that the service was wonderful, with Philomena at tea, and the smiling young lady at breakfast, made us feel valued as guests and not an imposition, especially when even though she was busy, we were brought 2 glasses of water, ice and lemon as soon as I said I was thirsty. When we come to Cheltenham again, hopefully in April, we will be back! Maggiex"

"Lovely Staff! AMAZING food! Visited here on Good Friday. We did not book, it was already busy with only 2 available tables. There was only 2 of us so we managed to get a seat. The menu is absolutely delicious, a great selection of things but all with carefully selected ingredients to give a contemporary twist to each dish. So nice to look at a menu and be able to choose from everything on the list!! After finally deciding, I had a celeriac gnocchi with date whiskey cream, fresh figs and raw cacao which was really unusual but tasty. my boyfriend had a roasted cauliflower and buffalo soup sounds simple but this was actually incredible! We then shared a main of pasta and the vegan cashew pesto tasted amazing. I just also wanted to mention how helpful Lucia, our waitress was, she was the only one on the floor that night and managed to keep everyone happy and food/drinks came swiftly. Highly recommend to everyone! Maybe book if more than 2? THANK YOU :D"

"we went to lunch here and there was a great choice of eating different things. we could have an inca and a lunch bowl in the near east with focaccia. it was amazing! I love eating here and really friendly staff and all the amazing things they do during this time. the cakes were amazing as we had an Anzac cookie and some panforte that were both very delicious.
