Fresh slices of raw fish, served with tangy dipping sauces and garnished with shredded daikon and wasabi for a flavorful experience.

"I’ve not been to a Wagamama for a few years but if this place is a yardstick it has really gone down hill! The south Asian serving staff seem more interested in staring at customers than actually serving and our waitress has no idea on how to serve food! It’s simply thrown down at the end of the table and help yourself ! Appalling really. Katsu curry was decent … if you like sauce that tasted like it was microwaved from a tescos ready meal . Really enjoyed the chicken katsu was crispy. First meal I’ve had when I don’t want to pay the service charge it was that bad!"

"I highly recommend this place! It's very kid-friendly, with plenty of space for children to get involved in the BBQ cooking. The service was excellent as well. We dined for dinner, and the cost per person was around £50–60. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4. Some recommended dishes include the seafood, the 16-piece nigiri sushi platter, and the wagyu chef's special set."

"this small, family-run Japanese restaurant is a hidden gem. the service is imperfect, but very polite to add the charm of the place. the menu is relatiw classic with taking some scrub rolls. one is the house roll (educated), which contains a lot of fish and is quite large cut. the actual excerpt was the horse mackerel sashimi (figurative). beautifully presented and extremely fresh and delicious! I would recommend this place to anyone who is close to the opposite and wants a high-quality No-Frills Japanese meal."

"One way to determine just how good and authentic a Japanese restaurant is, is how popular it is with the Japanese themselves. Well, this little place is frequented by Japanese regulars every day, many of them risking their careers by leaving their desks in the City for a few moments! Don't be put off by the unassuming premises. Whether you're looking for unadulterated made to order sushi and sashimi, or, in my experience, the best (and most addictive) katsu curry London has to offer, then this is the place. And it's all at reasonable prices. Unexpectedly for such good Japanese food, it's run by a pair of Sri Lankans who trained in Japan for several months, and it shows. Although they also offer some Thai options, I'd stick to the Japanese stuff as that's where they really excel. The lunch specials are especially good value."

"visits with a buy a gift voucher, which allows us to make two three meals from a set menu. we waited 5 minutes or so on a Sunday night when there were no more than 10 people in the restaurant. we also needed a gluten-free version of the set menu, which meant that we had to use the website to crossmatch what was included in the set menu to see what was gf. we had to order via the website. we asked a server about ordering gluten free and they had no idea how we should do that. the food was excellent and the portions were generous for a set menu. the main issue came with the bill. we presented the voucher and we were then notified to the voucher only a set menu. not what the credit card said and we were asked to pay the rest. the server came back a few times to ask us to pay and then talked to a colleague. they have worked out that the order by the website, coupled with the gluten free options not considered, it was a set menu order. it would have been better if the personal used the old-fashioned ordering method that tends to work better. especially in the nutritional requirements. it was solved, but we were made to feel like we were wrong. my advice would be if they have a good license, ask to order personally to avoid frustration. the food was excellent."

"a popular place to eat, but do not correspond to expectations. there were problems in the kitchen. an international clientele. perfect for a special lunch, romantic lunch, business lunch or just a moment on your own faust away from the madding mass. book if you want a table. First we had the prawn cocktail that was excellent. sensitive presentation, large juicy deveined prawns on perfectly mature avocado. we ordered dover outsole, it took time to arrive forever. it proved to be good, but the kartoffels were hanging around. the spinach was extra and perfect. the steak, however, was unusable, it had been standing for eternity while the fish was cooked. I would have dessert if we hadn't been there for so long. I always wanted to try her île flottante. we didn't complain that we were guests and could have a bad day everywhere. I would go again, bellamy has the advantage of the doubt, at this opportunity it was not as good as it should have been, but I am sure it will be back in shape when we visit the next one. there is a garderobe and caregiver, somehow she always recognizes whose coat belongs. like magic."

"The interior and exterior of GOAT are quite contrasting and really add intrigued to the venue. From the outside GOAT looks like a contemporary take on a classic pub, however inside the restaurant there is a New York style pizzeria feel with touches of metal, raw wood and an open kitchen to bring a modern feel. And upstairs is a whole other ball game. GOAT DRINK has a really old-world feel with thick drapes at the windows, a large dark wood bar, voluptuous cushions, vintage wallpaper and faded paintings on the walls. You could stay lost in GOAT forever and continue to be surprised. For supper we ordered: goats cheese, tomato, mozzarella, zucchini and rocket pizza for me and a Bourbon and...read more"

"The food was great. Fresh, taste great and great portions. However, the customer service was very poor. The staff members looked worried and panicked when we arrived and we were the only ones in the restaurant. The waitress was VERY slow to take the order (we had to ask her to come over and the food came out very slowly. No chop sticks were given to us and my soup came with no spoon (we were given a very large serving spoon when I asked for a spoon! I have to say, I understand that the place was mainly based on take-away and the poor girl serving at the front was over worked and seemed like she didn't have the support of any other staff member. She was doing everything on her own. So think the management of this place need to work on getting support for their staff. During our meal, one of the delivery men came in a shouted at the poor girl in front of us! Very unprofessional. Anyways, basically, GREAT FOOD, but poor customer service experience! So if you want food from here, get a takeaway!! Also, I was with friends that felt sorry for the girl serving us, so we paid the service charge, but honestly, if they are going to be so rubbish with their service then take the service charge off."

"Poké has become a popular food trend in London, and Tombo Fitzrovia is right on point with their menu offerings. Guests can choose from classic poké bowls or create their own customized dish, making for an interactive dining experience. I recommend trying the Classic Poké with Salmon or Tuna, as well as the Kaisen Poké with Salmon and Tuna. Vegans and meat-eaters alike will also find delicious options on the menu. I particularly enjoyed the fresh and flavorful tuna and salmon sashimi, as well as the Hello Kitty Poké bowl with salmon, black and white rice, and edible flowers. The dishes were well-prepared and satisfying. The restaurant also offers a variety of award-winning matcha teas, including the Hello Kitty Matcha Latte. The matcha desserts, such as Matcha Tarts and Cheesecakes, are also worth trying. Overall, Tombo offers a fantastic dining experience with high-quality food, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere. Whether you are a fan of matcha or new to poké, this restaurant is a great place to explore these unique flavors."

"if they are looking for somewhere to dinate with a group of friends, family or even their partner, then sticks n sushi won't give them up. this location is absolutely beautiful and in beautiful canary wharf. the decor and layout of the restaurant is simple yet aesthetically appealing. many options to choose from in the menu and I am sure that everything you choose will be satisfied. we enjoyed everything from edamame and calamari to sushi and scallops. we have the hot cataific (scallops.) they were crispy on the outside and yet soft and tasty on the inside. the scallops themselves tasted very fresh and the aromas of this selection worked very well together. we recommend this very much! the staff was fantastic and very helpful when it came to order. they are very well informed about the menu and gave some good recommendations!"

"I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly helpful and the sushi was delicious. It was the perfect place for a wonderful Sunday lunch."
"Very bad experience. Terrible food. Sukiyaki comes with cold temperature and egg is overcooked. It tastes below the average. I only finished 1/3 and the waiter asked me whether I was too uncomfortable to finish the meal, or I got some stomach problems. Excuse me? I have ordered Chu-toro but turn out to be Akami. And the waiter explained a lot with chicanery and it’s really annoying during dinner time with someone keep talking to me and say nonsense words. I have visited Onedera in Hawaii and LA and the one in London is not the same thing. I will never come back again. Good luck."

"I must have been for sure very unlucky, but this is the restaurant where I ate probably the worst two dishes in my life. In both cases, the two courses disappeared under a prevailing flavour, erasing all the remaining ingredients. As an appetizer we got the cheviche combination that was basically raw fish fully covered by tons of red hot pepper: you could easily take away all the fish in the dish and the taste would remain exactly the same. As a main course we had a spicy tuna poke where all the wonderful fresh ingredients (tuna, rice, green peas, carrots and more) were hidden behind a blanket of citrus making the whole bowl, citrus apart, totally tasteless: like chewing a huge candy. The gourmet experience was so devastating to obliterate the nice atmosphere of the venue, the service, nice and professional (including nicely receiving appalling feedback from unhappy clients), and everything pleasant around: not even the efforts of the team could justify the chef's disaster tonight. I've been providing feedback on restaurants and hotels from all over the world on this website for years, and I am going for a 1/5 evaluation with no hesitation or regret."

"We celebrated my mother's 89th birthday with a delightful afternoon tea. The setting was lovely and the seating was very comfortable. We absolutely loved the scones with jam and cream, and the selection of freshly brewed loose leaf teas was exceptional. The service was excellent, with great attention to detail. To top it off, one of the waiters even brought a small cake to the table so that I could light a candle fountain for my mother. It was a truly unforgettable experience."

"We liked this place. The staff was super friendly and nice. One of the drinks we ordered with the pea flower gin was really outstanding. We had the rice cracker, shishito pepper, a cuke salad and squid starters. The crackers were great the salsa ordinary and did not detect shiso in the avocado. The cuke salad was good but would have liked more cukes to lettuce ratio. The squid was ok, not great, and skimpy but the yuzu mayo was really great. The peppers were ok. We had miso eggplant, pork belly and duck. The eggplant itself was good, not so crazy about the miso preparation. The pork was great and the duck was also very good. We weren’t crazy about the plum sauce; it needed something. These dishes would have been improved by some green onions and a bunch of cilantro. We had the cheesecake dessert with whiskey ice cream. Found the cheesecake bland but loved the ice cream . They very kindly brought the child with us a sweetly decorated scoop of mango sorbet which she loved. This restaurant is rated 4 1/2 stars. I would rate it 4.3 based on our visit but we might have ordered more adventurously with out a child in tow."

"I always hate waste, wasting food, wasting money, in general wasting anything unless it is unavoidable. With similar ethos to St John of head to tail eating, Yashin Ocean House's menu is based entirely around fish and seafood offering head to tail dining including every aspect of the fish from roe to flesh to skin. There is even a wonderful display of fish drying in glass cabinets behind the main kitchen area Tucked away behind South Kensington/Gloucester Road tube station, sit a beautiful restored Victorian stable that house Yashin Ocean House. "good quality sushi over supplier cars. a beautiful selection of salmon, tuna and softshell crabsmusaki. in a world where its mostly heavy pizza and curries, available for home delivery, it is nice to have a healthy option for their lunch or dinner. nothing beats into a sushi bar, but on lazy days will do that."
