Fresh slices of raw fish, served with tangy dipping sauces and garnished with shredded daikon and wasabi for a flavorful experience.

"The takeaway sushi was quite good - the sashimi tasted fresh! The order included 4 small maki rolls, 4 large pieces of salmon and tuna nigiri, and 4 pieces of sashimi."

"This is the third time visiting a different Kokoro. It is the first time where they wouldn't customise options even though we were the only ones in there. Disappointing as all the other Kokoros had before and we could see someone making up the sushi so it isn't like anyone wasn't available. This happened the second time visiting this Kokoro yesterday, the first time we went at lunch time and ordered a Pumpkin Katsu Curry and a Chicken Katsu Curry, we were very surprised at how much Pumpkin and Chicken we got as other places like Yo Sushi for example only give you a small amount. The down side was that I felt like the curry had a bit of a strange after taste, I have tried a lot of katsu Currys and none of them had this weird taste. A lot of options and it was clean which is why I am giving it 3 stars."

"Open every day for lunch and dinner, this hard working Japanese restaurant deserves every ounce of the success it has. The food here is delicious, colourful, and relatively nutritious, while the setting is fairly simple, clean and informal with long tables and benches often shared with neighbouring groups. On the menu there's a choice of authentic Bento Boxes, Ramen, Yakisoba udon, Sashimi, Rice Gohan and various salads and side dishes pretty much everything you'd expect from a Japanese restaurant in the UK. With Bento Boxes from about £10 upwards, and Ramen from about £7, it's very reasonably priced as Japanese restaurants go. The only thing they don't do well is desserts but that's a common theme across all Japanese restaurants I've been to in the UK with Tenkaichi offering just one choice: a Japanese red bean pancake roll served with a plum sauce. It has firmly established itself as one of Cardiff's best and most reasonably priced Japanese restaurants, and as a result is hugely popular at lunchtimes as well as in the evenings so you may have to wait a short while for a seat at times. They also have a separate (but similar) takeaway menu."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't very crowded and the food and service were quick. Since I was unfamiliar with the dishes, I ordered the sharing platter and a Katsu curry, both of which were average. The noise level was quite high, with loud heavy rock music playing. I asked the waitress to lower the volume as it didn't seem fitting for the restaurant. The doors were open due to the warm weather, leading to loud traffic noise. The staff clearing tables seemed unaware of the loud clattering they were creating. While the prices were on the higher side, the food was decent."

"They have quite a few vegan/vegetarian options here, which is pretty great. Had one of the veg sushi sets (with vegetarian gyozas inside). It was pretty decently priced for the amount that you get, and considering sushi in other places would cost you probably twice or three times as much. The sushi pieces were okay, I guess. Nothing amazing, and not the worst sushi you will ever have. But avoid the gyozas! The skin is... not the best. Very, very tough and dry when I had it (doesn't help that they were cold as well) and it completely lacked flavour. Itsu is worth going only if it's after evening when they slash their prices down for their boxes, or if you fancy a quick, relatively cheap eat around the city. The place is pretty nice though, I'll have to say x"

"The restaurant was nice and the food was good. However there was one waitress who was not very pleasant with us. I think her name was Maria Claudia. We arrived at the restaurant mins before our booking and asked if we could be seated earlier. There was a guard who told us to go in and choose a table, but I wanted to check with the waitress first. I asked Maria Claudia, and she said, without checking anything and in an impolite manner, that they have reservations and cannot seat us before our reserved time. Although, the restaurant was completely empty except for two tables. That didn't bother us since we knew our booking was still mins away, and there could actually be reservations before us. however, we sat exactly opposite the restaurant and we could see the whole restaurant and tables. We waited mins, and during that time only one or two tables were used and the rest were all empty.Nonetheless we went in at our reserved time. After looking at the menu we had few questions for the waitress, so we called Maria Claudia. She seemed on edge as if she really does not want to answer our questions, she kept looking away and rolling here eyes. We asked her about an item in the menu if it can be swapped for something else, she replied "No I don't think so, that's what's on the menu", so I asked her you don't think so or are you sure? She then said I don't think we can do it. So I politely asked her to check with the chef, she agreed but never came back to inform us.We were then served by two other waitresses who were both very professional and nice"

"I had an excellent experience at Kikuchi on a recent Saturday evening. The Omakase tasting menu was well-rounded and satisfying, with a relaxed pace and synchronized plate serving. The staff was attentive and allowed guests to fully enjoy their meal and each other's company. The chef's attention to detail and skill in slicing fish to enhance texture was evident. While the selection may not include the most rare fish varieties, there is a variety of offerings, from toro to uni, that will please most sushi enthusiasts. The Omakase was well worth the price, considering the restaurant's location in Central London. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience that I would gladly recommend to friends and revisit in the future. (*Note: Some dishes and dessert were missed in the photos.)"

"The dining experience was enjoyable but not exceptional. The service was satisfactory, though not outstanding. It seems there may be a disconnect between the expectations set by their branding (aiming for a Gordon Ramsay-level quality) and the reality of their offerings, which seem more aligned with wanting to be superior to chains like P.F. Chang's. I would be willing to return, but likely with a smaller group, as I don't feel they manage larger parties very well."

"I recently visited wasabi sushi and noodle bar located at 14 The Printworks, Withy Grove. This was my first time having to complain at a restaurant, as I went with my daughter and her friends who had already eaten and just wanted drinks. Despite there being 16 empty seats, the manager refused to let the girls sit at a table with drinks only. When I asked the manager about this, he simply said they were busy, even though the restaurant was mostly empty. I was very disappointed with the service and overall experience."

"We have ordered in an easy and relaxed manner, no rush from the staff at all , Iliyan the manager and Saima our waiter were very helpful with my allergy , she is an amazing waiter making our stay very pleasant, answered my friend’s questions about the food ! The manager is an amazing person , ensuring we were well looked after . I have been asking him the name of the person who sitted us , he informed me that her name is Daday , the kindest person ever , although very busy she asked us how we are and had a chat until seated . Thank you for a memorable experience with you ! We will definitely be back !"
"I highly recommend this place! It's very kid-friendly, with plenty of space for children to get involved in the BBQ cooking. The service was excellent as well. We dined for dinner, and the cost per person was around £50–60. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4. Some recommended dishes include the seafood, the 16-piece nigiri sushi platter, and the wagyu chef's special set."

"Visited here after evaluating several reviews and a few emails between teh restaurant and us. WE liked the Japanese communication upfront with my japanese wife and we were glad to have chosen this place. Wwent theer with people for a busienss dinner and everybody...was very satisfied with the amount and quality of food and the service. We were also positivly surprised that a lot of Japnese semes to eat hera to which is a very good sign for the authenitc cuisine. The only negative point in our visit was that the Wagyu beef was out (theerfore only str rating), though haven't been pre ordered from us Wills surely come back when again in London"

"Superb, friendly service and a brigade performing at top level despite it being New Years day! Every dish perfectly executed and all courses fresh, flavoursome and both aesthetically and palate pleasing. Some really inspired cooking and perfectly balanced flavours for even the most jaded Christmas palate. Even the fries are cooked with love and are crisp and moreish. Such exciting dishes that dessert was swerved in favour of returning to the starters for scallops with a wowsering Hibiki Whisky Bacon Bon Bon. Cocktails are taken seriously here and are equally creative; this is no eatery just tipping its hat at mixology. Relax, enjoy the atmosphere and experience the fact this restaurant ‘does what it says on the tin’ it is most definitely’smokin’."

"One way to determine just how good and authentic a Japanese restaurant is, is how popular it is with the Japanese themselves. Well, this little place is frequented by Japanese regulars every day, many of them risking their careers by leaving their desks in the City for a few moments! Don't be put off by the unassuming premises. Whether you're looking for unadulterated made to order sushi and sashimi, or, in my experience, the best (and most addictive) katsu curry London has to offer, then this is the place. And it's all at reasonable prices. Unexpectedly for such good Japanese food, it's run by a pair of Sri Lankans who trained in Japan for several months, and it shows. Although they also offer some Thai options, I'd stick to the Japanese stuff as that's where they really excel. The lunch specials are especially good value."

"From the moment we arrived I have to say the service was pretty terrible. It was a shame because they had contacted me via Instagram inviting me and my friends in for free pizza, we were really looking forward to it. We booked to watch the rugby too as the restaurant had advertised they were showing the games on the big screens. We arrived and we’re basically ignored for a while, I ended up approaching someone and saying I had a table booked. There were 2 of us there but we we’re waiting for another friends to arrive, the man out front strangely put us on a tiny table for 2 people, we said about how we have a third person coming but he didn’t seem bothered and told us he could move us when she arrived. This was very strange as they were barely busy, maybe 3 tables had people sat at. I also explained if we could be sat by a TV screen for the rugby. He didn’t asked for any details of my booking. We noticed a male customer asking for toilet paper for the men’s bathrooms. When my friend went to the bathroom she ended up coming straight out and asking for toilet paper. We waited 25 minutes while staff were just stood around or on their phones. I eventually went to check and still no toilet paper, we asked again. I looks like the man out from had to run to the corner shop to not only buy toilet roll but throughout the evening he could come back from Sainsbury's with cans of Guinness! The bathrooms were in a disgusting state, clearly not cleaned for a while. After sitting and waiting for some time for the rugby to come on I ended up asking if they’re putting it on. It was clear they couldn’t get the TV to work downstairs and the man said they’re only showing the last game which I just wish they told us before as our plan was to see both of the games. Meanwhile all of this is going on, we noticed the chef dinging the bell for food to be served from the hot plate and it being just sat there for 15 minutes. The chef ended up ringing the bell 3 or 4 times. I could go on really with how bad the service was. Put the bottle of wine down on the table didn’t offer to pour it, ignoring the telephone ringing all evening, we had to ask for everything (menus and for the table to be cleaned), not clearing tables….. There was 1 women who arrived to work later on in the evening who was slightly better. It’s a shame because the pizzas were good. When I looked at the reviews online it’s clear to say the reason they’re inviting so many people in is because of how bad it is. Step up your service and good luck to you"

"We celebrated my mother's 89th birthday with a delightful afternoon tea. The setting was lovely and the seating was very comfortable. We absolutely loved the scones with jam and cream, and the selection of freshly brewed loose leaf teas was exceptional. The service was excellent, with great attention to detail. To top it off, one of the waiters even brought a small cake to the table so that I could light a candle fountain for my mother. It was a truly unforgettable experience."

"Simply wonderful. There are plenty of new wizzy concept restaurants in Mayfair, some of which are great. Sometimes however you want a restaurant that won’t fail. With really good food, service (outstanding) and a nice atmosphere all in one. Highly recommend if that is the evening you are looking for. A special thank you to the team who looked after my guest while I was stuck in traffic."

"Attractive decor and smart vibes, and also pretty good service. I was lured by the free Prosecco offered on joining Prezzo, but all in all the food didn’t blow my mind. The menu was very varied and interesting, so I decided the goat’s cheese bruschetta and olives to start. The former was piping hot and tasty but too small. The latter were dry, shrivelled and overall off the mark. My main, the Tuscan sauce with lentil, looked appetising but had no wow factor: those sausages could have come from any ordinary supermarket, but I expected them to be tender and flavoursome. I really feel this is a point for improvement. The house white was also insipid. I would imagine the pizza here is good given the classic Italian pizza oven that is used, but I wanted to try something more off piste here and was unfortunately not particularly taken. Perhaps the kitchen was having a bad day?"
