"One way to determine just how good and authentic a Japanese restaurant is, is how popular it is with the Japanese themselves. Well, this little place is frequented by Japanese regulars every day, many of them risking their careers by leaving their desks in the City for a few moments! Don't be put off by the unassuming premises. Whether you're looking for unadulterated made to order sushi and sashimi, or, in my experience, the best (and most addictive) katsu curry London has to offer, then this is the place. And it's all at reasonable prices. Unexpectedly for such good Japanese food, it's run by a pair of Sri Lankans who trained in Japan for several months, and it shows. Although they also offer some Thai options, I'd stick to the Japanese stuff as that's where they really excel. The lunch specials are especially good value."

For about £7.50 each we had a very tasty and filling lunch. Probably more than I normally pay for lunch but I am comparing to supermarket meal deals. As an alternative I'd recommend

Finally stopped by Yobun Sushi and really glad I did. We had the chef sushi selection and Pad Thai. Both are made of generous portions, with loads of flavour. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu. View menu

I was craving some gyoza and stumbled upon this restaurant. I ordered the vegetable gyoza and a chicken katsu curry for six pounds for lunch. It was all delicious and I highly recommend it for a tasty and affordable lunch option.

This is a great little sushi restaurant in Middlesex street just outside the city. Run by a very friendly couple. The menu also includes a great red or green Thai curry dish, chicken Katy's curry and chicken or salmon teriyaki. Great food at extremely reasonable prices. You won't be sorry you found this gem!

The owners of the restaurant are very friendly. The Chicken Katsu and Tempura king prawns are absolutely amazing and reasonably priced. They are cooked with care and love, resulting in a delicious meal. The food is of much higher quality and the restaurant is cleaner compared to other street vendors. It is definitely worth a visit, especially during lunchtime until 3pm. View menu

I read about this restaurant on Tripadvisor and decided to order dinner through Deliveroo. I ordered 2 cut roll and 1 hand roll. The prawn tempura roll wasn't good at all. The prawn was fried using an oil that was quite disgusting. The hand roll with salmon and avocado wasn't great either. The avocado is supposed to be eaten ripe. It wasn't! This was my first order and the last one.

I stumbled across this restaurant by accident on a hot day in April. I was a little hesitant at first because it was mostly empty, even though it was towards the end of lunchtime. I decided to try the mixed sashimi, which only had tuna, salmon, and sea bass available. All of the fish was very fresh, and the sea bass was particularly delicious. I also enjoyed a generous bowl of edamame. Overall, the meal was great value for the price.
