"The food was good but not filling. For the price it was not good value. Also, my guest was annoyed about the waiter being too over bearing. If you have money to burn then this is the place still feel hungry. There are better value venues"

"We have travelled in Japan and we are serious fans of Japanese food but we recognise that this means we can be difficult to please, because we have some knowledge of what to expect of a good Japanese meal. This was definitely a good meal! The deep fried aubergine in a delicious sweet sauce was especially outstanding, and the tempura prawns and vegetables were excellent. There are some Korean dishes on the menu too. Well done Yoshi Sushi we'll be back..."

"The decor is amazing. However, the staff really need some more training. Staff seem quite confused and there is a lack of communication. I had to get up to ask someone to come and take our order and also to get the bill. Once you have ordered your food, no one returns to the table to check if everything is ok. My food arrived and was super cold (my friend ordered the same thing and hers was fine). We were a group of 3 and 1 of the mains arrived 20 minutes after the 2 other mains. 2 of our sides never arrived even after prompting the staff to check on it.(I’m convinced they were given to the table next to us as the customers looked confused when it arrived at their table and they didn’t touch it) I think this restaurant has great potential, however i don’t think the staff can handle when it’s on the busier side."

"I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is delicious, and the service is top-notch. The atmosphere can be a bit noisy at times, but it's definitely worth it for the amazing dining experience."

"On Wednesday, 30/11/22, three local middle-aged pescatarian men celebrated a birthday by going out for lunch at Madras, a Sri-Lankan/South Indian restaurant in Lewisham. They had been to the restaurant before when it was known as The Green Cabin. The restaurant had a few faded decorations and furniture, but the food was always tasty and reasonably priced. They arrived around 13:40 and found the restaurant nearly empty, so they chose a table by the window in the hopes of attracting more customers. The menu offered a mix of traditional Indian and South Indian dishes, and they decided to skip alcohol and order lassis instead. They were cautious about ordering too much due to the spiciness of the food. Throughout their meal, they noticed several delivery couriers coming in and out. A family arrived later on, but the restaurant remained relatively quiet. One of the men accidentally ordered a mixed Thali, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise with a variety of delicious vegetarian dishes. They also ordered a Mutton Masala Dosai and some side dishes to share. The food was spicy but delicious, and they managed to finish everything without needing a doggy bag. The bill came to a reasonable £50.90, and they left a £5 tip before heading out into the streets of Lewisham, happy and satisfied."

"My partner and I decided to try this restaurant for dinner one evening, as we live nearby. When we arrived, our table wasn't ready, so we were directed to sit at the bar. Unfortunately, our experience at the bar was subpar - it took a long time to place our order and our drinks never arrived. We were looking forward to enjoying them at the bar, which offers a lovely view of Kensington Gardens. Once we were seated at our table, the service improved significantly. The waitstaff were great and attentive. The standout of the evening, however, was the food. The dishes were truly amazing and stole the show. The ambiance of the restaurant was also pleasant. Despite the initial hiccup at the bar, I would still give this restaurant 5 stars. It's possible that we just arrived during a busy time for the bar. I would definitely consider dining here again!"

"Maison du Mezze at first appears to be well decorated eluding a soft ambiance, good music and inviting smiles. I was sourly disappointed in the quality of food. The starters were sadly the highlight. We were served a range of cold mezzes which were tasty. The hot starters included kibbeh and well grilled softened halloumi. All satisfying. I must say that there was nothing special about the lentil soup, I guess it was foreshadowing the blandness to come. The mains were in all aspects of the term, tasteless. We had kabsa and another fish rice dish. The rice was dry, the fish rubbery and the lamb ok. Finally, our desert, I have never seen the word be so misused. We had a very cold, bland, textureless rice pudding. The disappointment after a long list of let downs was obvious on my face when a lovely waiter came to ask if everything was ok. The other desert was immemorable. Frankly, I would give this place 2 stars, but the service was excellent and the decor divine."

"We have visited this restaurant a few times and highly recommend the Hot and Sour Soup, Spring Rolls, Mongolian Beef, Salt and Pepper Chicken, and Bean Curd with mixed Vegetables. The noodle side dishes were also delicious, with generous portions that we should have probably shared! The restaurant was clean and tidy, although slightly worn out. The staff were friendly and kept our water glasses filled, as well as providing us with prawn crackers and sauces. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and are excited to come back again."

"We went here after my son’s graduation at the request of the graduate. We’d been here once before on a whim. For a chain restaurant in a shopping centre this place is really nice. Very busy decor presumably designed with the European customer in mind but so cheerful, colourful and lively. The welcome is fantastic and so is the food. Classic Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine but you can also have a version of steak and chips too so even more conservative eaters would be OK. The cost mounts up easily but we will still definitely eat here again."

"The foods are really tasty but there is still fault in some dishes. We ordered garlic king prawns, masala aloo, Nan, rice and saffron tandoori mixed stater. We are very happy with garlic king prawns and Nan. Rice is a bit hard though and others are just okay. Decoration is a bit out of date too. Surprisingly, the prices are nearly the same as London. I would suggest that they could either redecorate the place with this price or adjust the price accordingly."

"This booking might have been fine were it not for the fact that the restaurant was closed for renovation under new management. Quite how and why it was still accepting bookings when it was shut is a mystery, but obviously it caused significant disruption to our plans. In the past this has been an excellent restaurant, so I hope this is a blip."

"Although the restaurant is pleasantly decorated, that was the highlight of our visit. We felt that there was a bad attitude to customers from the start. We asked for tap water and instead of being given a jug for the table, we were each given a half filled glass. When we saw the astronomical prices for drinks, for water, for creamy milk drinks we realised that we'd better make our tepid tap water last. The food was average with no extras like you'd expect our cold mezze plate for was basically some dips plus rice in vine leaves. No pitta you have to pay extra for that. Rest of food distinctly average, some not nice at all spinach parcels avoid. Very loud music playing. Large service charge added. Will never go back"

"Great food, authentic Spanish. Lots of it too so you don't feel short changed as you might in some tapas joints. Very friendly personable service from the owner too. You can buy wine there or bring your own bottle for a very reasonable 7 quid corkage. Was there with a fiend and we both thought it outstanding. It is everything that chain restaurants should be but are not. I really felt like i was in a little tapas place in Spain. Go, this guy deserves our support. People giving one star reviews clearly have no clue about authentic tapas."

"The food was outstanding. My top choice was the sweet corn soup, which was delightfully soupy and full of sweet corn flavor. The seafood tofu dish was also incredibly delicious."

"This restaurant offers high-quality food at affordable prices. It is hands-down the best Italian cuisine I have ever had in the UK. The mozzarella focaccia is a must-try, and be sure to end your meal with the strawberry cheesecake. The service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. Dining in for dinner is recommended. The price per person ranges from £10 to £20. I would rate the food and service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5."

"Dined here with a group, and the food was good, but I have had better Indian food. This is a Southern Indian restaurant, and so many of the usual dishes you get in an Indian restaurant are missing from the menu. 'Dosa ' are the speciality here. Service and ambience were also average. Prices are quite reasonable. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner"
