"I could not believe it when I was told my order would be ready in 3 minutes so my jaw dropped when it was ready in 3 minutes. Food is great especially the chicken prawn fried rice and the prawn mushroom soup. I also got a complimentary prawn crackers. The staff was very nice and welcoming. Just for takeaway no eating in. No toilet and parking is along the road. A great place to order a treat or surprise dinner for yourself when you crave a taste of Chinese."

"I made a reservation for a table for seven people online. When we arrived at the appointed time, we were seated immediately. The server took our drink orders promptly. We started with some delicious sides and Prawn Crackers with a sweet chili dip as appetizers. The mains were served one after the other, each dish freshly cooked and exceptional. I have dined here multiple times and will continue to come back."

"Went here as was interested in their Gluten free options and also intrigued by their healthy choices and we were not disappointed. On arrival it was bustling and full with a steady flow of customers from couples , families and all ages. The service was good and friendly. The food was great just what we were looking for as so few restaurants offer healthy choices and they also tell you of the calorie value of each dish which is great if you are trying to eat healthier. There is a great choice for breakfast or brunch and the we went for the Moroccan Kofta and poached eggs with Gluten free bread, it was simple but the blend of spicing just gorgeous and such a lovely change to the usual fry up and you were not overly full afterwards but not stingy portion either . The bread was toasted which with gluten free bread is always a good idea as it can usually taste like sawdust, this was a winner for me. I asked about it and was informed it was all homemade , my partner got the Eggs Benedict with Avocado and it was simple but lovely and just what he wanted healthy but freshly prepared, and his bread was the fennel seed bread which was also homemade and lovely. Got a Cappucino which was very good and a black coffee which was fine. Defintely recommend this place but book in advance if going on a weekend as it is always busy. Will be back thank you."

"after 45 minutes still had not received food or drink (coke nothing fancy) whilst all tables around had received food and drink even though we ordered way before them. Had to get up and remind the waiter of our existence. We then got our drinks and 1 item of food .. they then bring us the wrong meal and claim they had a technical issue and had to retake our order after 1 hour. We order our dessert as well so they have time to get this sorted. Whilst waiting for our food still they decide to bring us 1 dessert which we send back. They then tell us our order which I placed over an hour ago is actually out of stock. I say can we just have dessert so we can leave. They come back and say the dessert is out of stock. Terrible experience. The two starters we had where nice. They had to nerve to come over and ask how our meal was whilst we ate chicken wings. Left hungry !"

"where should I start? starts with a phone call (2pm) asking if I still need my table for 2 around 7pm, not really how I booked a table of 3 and confirmed my booking confirmation 3 people. I didn't think a problem was really wrong, but...now they're aware that there are actually 3 people as a confirmation. we should be so happy, we arrive on time at 7 o'clock the host on the writing rushes to his colleague to get her place a chair on the temporary table for 2 (this table has been booked since over 2 weeks) we are placed on a table that can only be described as coffee table that does not fit to eat. the waitress comes then all I can say is that I have never met such an rude waitress, I can suspect that she finds an alternative career, since hospitable is clearly not her field. no person should ever feel at eating, we were sitting for 10 minutes they were asking us 4 times when we were ready to order, we ordered our drinks, as we felt, so rushed into order something, she then asked about our food order, we did not say quite ready for eating again, so she rolled her eyes down and just went and had a good old moan about us to her colleagues. that was that the camels returned for us. we decided to leave the manager we left, she asked us what the problem was and to be honest, she couldn't take care less."

"Our experience at Papa's Wok was very positive. We appreciated the variety of meat and vegetarian options available. The veg spring rolls we ordered were tasty and we received an extra one, which was a nice surprise. The chicken dish we tried was delicious, with the chicken tooan standing out for its flavor compared to the dragon chicken. The gobi manchurian and stirring vegetables were both well-seasoned and enjoyable. We also tried the sweet and chili and garlic rice, both of which came in a box. The chili and garlic rice was tasty but not as spicy as expected. However, the plant noodles were disappointing as they lacked flavor and were quite bland. The portion sizes of the big box were generous and we were impressed by the amount of food. Overall, we had a great dining experience at Papa's Wok and would definitely order from them again."

It's often difficult for me to find Chinese restaurants that offer vegan options, but their selection of vegan dishes is outstanding and clearly indicated. We opted for the all-you-can-eat menu and I was provided with a separate vegan menu along with a platter of vegan starters, ensuring that my food remained separate and allowing me to sample a bit of everything. "I do not recommend this place. Before submitting this review, I gave them a chance to react for our bad experience. I`ve sent few emails to them, messaged on Facebook. They messaged me back that will come back to me as soon as possible, however...it never happened. I am sending them emails since 21.08.22. 1.Before arriving and paying for our booking I was asking the hotel over the phone where our room is going to be located and if there is a sea view. Our room had more “pub view” and little bit of sea view. It was loud after 11pm, drunk people talking and laughing loudly, we came there to relax and were told over the phone that there is not loud. If I knew that it is like it is, I would not book this hotel!!! This was a lie. We could not sleep before these people stopped shouting!!!! 2. The room should be clean (as was in the description), that is why we choose 4-star places (according to the booking.com), however there was a lot of dust as well as the fan, which was completely covered by dust!!! There was not air conditioning in the room, and we should have had a proper fan, however this was unusable. 3. On a breakfast We were toasting the bread, and just before I took a bite spotted that the bread was mouldy. We have asked a lady and she did bring supposedly the fresh one. We could have a food poisoning because of that. I will report it to the ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents) and show them more pictures, for example the moulded bread. 4. Most of the times I work from home. I thought that wifi is a standard in the 21st century. Free wifi was included in your advertisement as an amentity. I had to do few important things for work from the hotel and I could not because also there was not a signal for my phone internet as what has service lady said? “Welcome to Cornwall”. 5. Dogs are welcome at this hotel. We took a small yorkie, however We didn`t expect that many dogs in that place. Barking, running everywhere, all over the restaurant, having dogs` hair on a table is too much... If you want to spend a nice time, please avoid this place."

"My husband and I had an excellent lunch at Sumo . Service was calm and very efficient. We had the very reasonable lunch menu . Both starters were brilliant. Paul had crispy tofu in a tasty sauce and I had crispy chicken wings. They were accompanied by a fresh salad . Paul had chicken ramen which came in a huge bowl and was filled with noodles , veg and sliced chicken . He was asked how he would like the base stock chilli , garlic or plain . He was also able to say how hot he would like the chilli when he chose that option . It was delicious. I had salt and spicy chicken with plain rice . Perfect . Light morsels of moist chicken , sweet onions, peppers and rice done to perfection. We had jasmine tea to accompany and this went well . We saw beautiful sushi dishes going out that were works of art . We have eaten here loads of times and never had anything less than delicious."

Tables were clean and there is good social distancing measures in place. Booking a table is recommended as lots of the tables have been cut off. We had much better service here than we did at Cribbs!
