"We ate here on New Year's Eve after booking through open table a couple of days earlier . Nearby restaurants weren't busy so were didnt know what to expect. We were met by a very friendly waitress who showed us to our table. The restaurant was full had a live singer for background music. As it was New Years Eve it was a 3 course set menu but there were options if you didn't want Turkish food. The meal was delicious and the portions were very generous. During the meal the music changed a belly dancer came out later in the night some diners joined in with some Turkish dancing. The atmosphere was great, the services attentive and we would certainly go back."

"We were in Bristol for the weekend a group of six of us went to Namaste Nepal. The service was incredible and all the dishes were really tasty. The vegetarian thali was extremely good value and we could not believe the amount of food that came with this! The traditional Nepalese dishes are highly recommended too particularly the daal tarkari."

"My partner and I were looking for an Indian meal somewhere a bit quieter and stumbled across this restaurant-the interior is supposed to look like the inside of a ship, however the decor really does need updating to move with the times. Food wise it was tasty-the menu was simplified compared to the pages you get in other indian restaurants, I had chicken tikka Bombay aloo and pilau rice, the food was quite rich and creamy-it tasted nice but definitely not the place to go if you are looking for a light meal. I would come back again but the decor definitely needs modernising."

"This restaurant is great for both large groups and individuals, with a bar-style dining area at the back. This setup is unique to this particular location in the chain, but it is quite effective. The rest of the restaurant has traditional granite tables for a more traditional dining experience. The staff is friendly, but they can be a bit difficult to get the attention of when ordering drinks. There have been a couple of instances where drink orders were forgotten, but overall the restaurant is clean and the food arrives promptly. It is a good option for a quick and straightforward meal where you know what to expect."

"Ordered through Just Eat app. Food arrived nearly 2 hours after we ordered. Rang a couple of times and was told the driver had left which was obviously a lie. When the food eventually arrived it was barely warm. My burger was soggy and the salad wilted and the cheesy chips were dry and rank. Will never order from this place again. AVOID!"

"So last night we ordered from Milano pizza on Ormskirk road. Ordered food at 7.15, told it would be no later than 50 minutes. Called back at 8.20 and they said it would be 10 minutes and that they were busy. We were promised two free cans of Pepsi for the delay. Food arrived cold at 8.55, they sent one can of Pepsi not two and they had the nerve to charge us for the Pepsi they'd said would be free! Upon closer inspection half of the order was missing, chips were cold and soggy, the chicken tandoori kebab was burnt and had brown wilted lettuce on it and the garlic bread was freezing. When we rang to complain the person answering the phone had the nerve to say our order hadn't even been delivered yet! They sent us more chips the missing food, and when Matt gave the cold food back to their delivery driver the bloke threw it all over the road in front of our house, and the receipt from our order was with the rubbish so they can't even deny that they did it! Won't ever be ordering from them again"

"Had food here and the carvery was fine. Bar staff were sharp and nice. the place is very big but I have never been in there late. Loads of ex footballers come to the pub for events so it has a been football following and live music. Not sure if it felt like my kinda evening venue so I never tried. Its the same sort of thing as the Bell and the Carpenter. They all start to blend one into the other with styling, menus and target markets. If its your thing go for it."

"OpenTable really need to sort out their communication. They sent us an email reminder a day before which was all correct, however when we arrived at the Restaurant they did NOT have our booking. They mumbled something about systems being down. I would NOT recommend booking through OpenTable as they do not confirm the booking with the restaurant. We had to wait for tables to become available sufficient for our group of people. Spicy Aroma did not apologise in any way, however they did accommodate us and the food was good. But the service was not. The waiters could not understand our drinks requests, they did not bring the water we requested, and we had to wait for minutes to get our food."

"I went recently as part of a party of Our meal was scheduled for we did not get our starters until just after These were between a table of onion bhajis, pieces of a chicken kebab, pieces of a lamb kebab and pieces of another chicken kind of kebab. I personally eat vegetarian when I go out and was left to eat onion bhaji. The main courses came, between people (not counting myself as the vegetarian option), there were small plates of pilau rice and bowls of a chicken tikka masala"no idea and lamb dish (also unknown) both served in small ceramic bowls. I naan bread was chopped up into small slivers for people. I had the vegetarian option. This consisted of a bowl of onions with a piece of red pepper, a piece of green pepper and green bean in. I complained and very reluctantly they provided what was supposed to be included in the meal palak aloo. This was overcooked and tasteless.Not a place to be recommended for parties as they very obviously could not cater for this large group. I have no idea if it is better to go back as a small party or but I have no desire, after this experience, to try it.Also, if in a large party, make sure you know the drinks prices as several of our party were overcharged for their drinks."
