"bsolutely blown away by the flavors and authenticity of the dishes. The hummus was creamy and flavorful, the falafel was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the grilled meats were perfectly seasoned. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Lebanese cuisine."

"the best libanese I tried. it has become my kryptonite at the evenings that I do not want obbr/>cook. The huh shawarma is slightly dry, so I recommend the baby huh with rice, the rice is amazing, like the brot, and the halloumi brot, and the flafel, and the garlic sauce. it's all amazing (and it's not too hard on her wallet.) In the did. that write about it made me hungry, something tells me that it's Lebanese tonight."

"Sublime food and impeccable service! We opted for a few different dishes and sides (pictured) all of which did not disappoint. Firstly, the meat across all dishes was fresh and cooked perfectly. I have historically found that with a mixed grill the meat can be somewhat dry not in this instance! I cannot rate each meat highly enough, simply sublime! The additional lamb dish we had was equally fantastic. Secondly, the starters/sides were all fantastic; from the rice, to the hummus. The Tabouli is mentioned in its own right as it too was sublime and is certainly the best we have had in London. The service was fantastic and I commend all the staff on their friendly and helpful approach. Lastly, it was great value for money. I highly recommend a visit guys, you won’t be disappointed."

"We brought my father here for his 75th birthday and he had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our waiter, Season, was attentive and took great care of us. We ordered a variety of mezze dishes, which was the perfect way to try a little bit of everything. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant. Highly recommended."

"Last week, I was invited to dinner at a new restaurant called Aline in Mayfair by PocketHighStreet, and it was without a doubt, the most food I’ve ever eaten in one sitting (and I grew up in Cyprus! I thought I was going to explode on the way home, but it was an incredibly satisfied feeling. As many of you may know, I love a sandwich (I seem to have written quite a few sandwich related posts recently! so when PocketHighStreet told me that Aline specialises in ‘gourmet sandwiches,’ I couldn’t have been more excited."

"Pleasant welcome, very nice staff, good meaning and pleasant fast drinks service starters were served within an acceptable time frame Mains took too long after the starters were cleared and the vegetable side order that was subject to much discussion grilled or cooked, not with the rest of the nets that I left table and hunted, but nets were taken off before they arrived at all their first place to do all All went slowly when the larger tables arrived very large menu can not help Sure it is good on a weekday evening will try that...."

"I am surprised to see that I am writing the first review. Al Masar is a good Lebanese restaurant. The food, though not exceptionally good is especially brilliant if you do a cost benefit analysis. If I was to rate Al Masar only in terms of value for money, I'd probably give it a 4.5. For me, the dishes which stand out are the Shish Taouk and roasted chicken. I am not a fan of lamb so can't comment on that but some friends who've tried it have said good things about it. Overall, if you're really hungry and want to try decent Lebanese food without burning a hole in your pocket, Al Masar is the place."

"After Arabica reminded me just how good food from the Levant could be, even if it was at the expense of that month's salary, I was in the mood for a nice big Lebanese lunch where portions weren't measured by the teaspoon and where I might feel I'd got my money's worth. Most Lebanese (I realise there's a bit of crossover with various different countries' cuisines Syrian, Israeli, Palestinian, but I'm going to stick with calling it Lebanese because I don't know any better) food I've tried has all been of a solid minimum standard; maybe Middle Eastern chefs are all trained very well, or maybe it's just difficult to mess up hummus and tabouleh. Either way, while the service in a number of...read more"

"Don't miss it, they have amazing foods! I love their falafel wrap and their lentils soup. I bet they have the best falafel, it is so tasty and fulfilling! They also have some amazing foods next to the counter. I will never have enough. Nice guys serving in the little restaurant. You can also order from them. I only tried their vegan foods but I believe their meat tastes amazing as well!"

Mango juice and carrot and orange made in front of you We got a lamb kofta, chicken shawarma and mixed grill. All 3 meals were superb. the flat breads were in constant supply and the sauces and veg on side delicious Will be coming back again when next in newcastle. "The menu features classic Lebanese cuisine, along with deli wraps like shawarma and paninis. What sets this place apart is undoubtedly their shisha. They offer a wide array of flavors, and the staff are very knowledgeable and seem genuinely excited about their work. At just £12, their shisha provides the same experience as one that costs £18 at other places like Yas. If you're in the area and looking for a reliable spot to unwind with coffee and shisha, this place is definitely worth a visit!"

"The food at this restaurant is delicious and the staff are friendly. They accommodate gluten-free diets without any issues. We were served cucumber sticks with hummus and a wheat-free Tabbouleh. The starters we ordered were all delicious, and the Shish Taouk, chips, and mujeddarah were all very yummy. The prices are reasonable and the staff are all wonderful. The Lebanese red wine we tried was especially good. I wish I lived closer to this place! We were able to relax and chat without feeling rushed."

"If I could I would give 0 stars. Extremely disrespectful staff for a whole £15 which mentions a mix grill platter on the menu they didn’t give any platter or a proper mix grill they only gave one plate which was full of salad a few odd chips some rice and a very small portion of the chicken that couldn’t even feed one person let alone as a mix grill for two people. The burger was cold after waiting 45 minutes for the food so I asked them to reheat which they did but were rude and calling after me whilst I’m walking to the table. Would not recommend the shwarma burger at all the shwarma wrap was okay but too bland and plain no spices or taste involved at all. At that point I just wanted to eat my food I was really hungry after the long wait yet one arrogant small minded waiter came by to pick a fight with me when it wasn’t even my own food I sent to get warmed as had come with friends and didn’t want anyone to eat cold food. Anyways he came to our table specifically to pick a fight with me and ruin our food more than it was already. Absolutely disrespectful waiters not a restaurant in any terms downright sexist men attacking on us ladies that were on our own and think they get away with disrespecting women since there was no man with us. I don’t know if they were Muslim but if so then astagfirullah as we are Muslim too but know respect when it is shown and this was absolutely disgusting there’s no words that can explain how they made me feel. These words do not sum up how much anxiety and how much those stupid men disheartened me and tried to fight me for no reason when it was their own fault. The food was raw if you go then go at your own accord because the raw chicken will make you ill. Absolutely disgusted appalled and for the first time in my life it will be my first time and last time at a soo called restaurant but more of a takeaway."

"al sultan is a restaurant in the shepherd market quarter. it is on a small pedestrian zone behind park lane where there are several oriental restaurants. that is a classic Lebanese restaurant. the mezze, tapa style hot and cold dishes, change daily. there are bratlamm, filled or fried auberginen, zucchini with rice and her belt sauce, hummus natural, tabouleh, etc. the entries are 5 or 6 pfund and it takes about two or three to make a complete dinner. there are also cheese salad, spicy nuts, fish eggs in oil, spinach with cilantro. most dishes are very healthy and perfectly presented. the Shawarma style roasts are 12 pounds."
