"Food was yummy, ordered with my partner for dinner, chowmein (chicken noodle) was perfect, soft tasty meat that isnt at all dry. BBQ ribs were perfect, literally fell off the bone. The curry sauce was delicious and not too spicy. Singapore noodles were nice but could have been better, there was no spice to them and they should've been dry (too much oil), only reason for missing 1 star. Service was good but delivery system is a little old, you don't really know when your foods coming. Overall great food, would order again. Bonus- Free crackers!!"

"Pretty decent Chinese food everything seems to be going 100mph in there but it's fascinating to watch, pretty small in there so overall pretty good only things that would say is they changed the chips and they haven't made them better also they said it would take a certain amount of time to get so we left it for a while before leaving to go pick it up and it still wasn't ready when they said."

"Unfortunately I had a very bad experience at Fortune Restaurant. Firstly, we asked for prawn crackers whilst we browsed the menu and he said that we had to wait until we ordered. After ordering a selection of starters and main courses, our prawn crackers arrived. What a disappointment they were. They actually tasted of wood as though they had been stored in a cupboard and when we asked when were they cooked, are they fresh? The gentleman responded and told us they batch cook them in the morning and just use them throughout the day/evening. Our starters arrived and everything seemed to be ok. Only fault there would have been the long wait between finishing our starter and receiving our mains. When the mains finally arrived; sweet and sour chicken, chicken chow mein, steamed vegetable dumplings and smoked shredded chicken. The sweet and sour chicken and chow mein seemed fine. However the dumplings tasted like cardboard and had a very strange texture and the smoked shredded chicken was inedible. It was rock hard and I did not even attempt to try this. We asked the gentleman to remove them from the bill and he did however we noticed all of the food tended to go cold very quickly. After leaving the restaurant, I was not impressed and it is not somewhere I plan on returning. Shortly after arriving home, I felt unwell and actually threw up. I am certain this is after eating at the restaurant. Overall, the restaurant was dirty and very out-dated. I would not recommend to anyone!!!!!!!!! P.S IT HURT ME TO EVEN LEAVE 1 STAR"

"We usually order from here, although, the food isn’t always consistent, the staff are friendly and the delivery time is usually as predicted when ordering online. The flavour and consistency of the satay sauce seems to have changed a lot over time. It used to be very good and authentic, whether you ordered chicken satay or just satay sauce on the side. Nowadays, it tastes mediocre… it’s a shame as that used to be our favourite go to dish. The pork dumplings used to be better too, don’t know what happened over time, but lately the consistency of the dumpling is very thick and a bit dry. The pork filling isn’t that flavoursome either now. However, we do like the addition of the udon noodles on the menu and the food is generally tasty."

"It is marvelous and we have visited there for serval times. All dishes are prepared on the spot and steaming hot. The taste is very good and balanced, and there are many choices of sauces. We have ordered Sesame Prawn Toast, Hot Sour Soup, Chicken Sweet Corn Soup, Kung Po King Prawn, Foo Yung King Prawn, Sea Spicy Sauce Beef, Spicy Szechuan Beef and Tofu, Shrimp Fried Rice Wonderful Special Crispy Noodles. All of these are delicious. My favorite dish is crispy noodles. We will definitely order their tasty Chinese dishes in the future."

"I 'm writing this because I feel this place deserves a much better rating on here, and are getting quite a hard time from some. The first two reviews I 've read are basically saying that they are NORMALLY really good but they 've decided to publish a review based on the one negative experience, which is typical of these review sites, i.e. ten good experiences, no review ... one bad, straight to TripAdvisor, guns blazing! Then there 's the everything was horrible review which I never trust probably just the competition playing dirty listing off every item on the order as bland, mushy, cold, you name it. Well, we started using Ka Ming after some mediocre results from our other regulars in Newton, and I can honestly say that every single experience has been wonderful. Delicious food, e.g. the lemon chicken is actually drowning in sauce rather than you getting a small tub to pour over, and the driver (always friendly) has always arrived much earlier than the estimated time. Yes, that includes last night, which was at peak time. Always friendly on the phone unlike another place I reviewed who basically answered the phone with We 're not taking anymore orders tonight and that was that and I can only reiterate that the food is always hot, fresh tasting, succulent (especially the duck) and tasty. Last night was the ONLY time (out of about 6 7 purchases) that they forgot something (the rice) which wasn 't worth ringing up for, seeing we always get a free bag of prawn crackers and so it 's not like we lost out too much. Frustrating, though. They nearly had a full house! I never understand how hard it is to count some boxes. But hey, I 've never known a takeaway in my life that hasn 't made this mistake at least once, be it a dip or an entire meal. The ONLY real negative, if I were to advise them on where to improve, is the starter menu. It really needs expanding, guys! Four of the seven overall options are soup, and it 's just a real shame given how great the rest of the menu (and overall service) is. What about chicken satay skewers, which the girlfriend loves and misses? Prawn balls? Mixed hor d 'oeuvres? Scallops? Spring rolls? But that 's the only negative. I 'm really impressed otherwise. They 'll be hearing from me a lot more times, I imagine!"

"A small takeaway with a focus on delivery or collection and no dine in. The cooking is very good. I go for the crispy shredded pork or beef with noodles. Of course you can opt for a chilli hot dish. The salt and pepper chicken wings are worth a try. You can pop in for a takeaway but cash only is the only option. You can order by phone and have your meal delivered but again make sure you have cash to make your payment. A pity they don't accept card payments. Parking for your takeaway wait is too limited as the delivery guys are possibly using the same space so mind the traffic."
