"Did not enjoy at all. I have read several reviews on other sites singing the praises of Yo Sushi. With so many glowing remarks it was difficult to resist so I dove into the “all you can eat” with great hope. However, I think this might possibly be the worst sushi I have ever eaten. I honestly don't see what all the fuss is about. The rice was dry, tough, chewy and often crunchy, suggesting that it was not cooked properly. So too was the fish, which I’d rather not speculate fearing the answer. The veggies and fruit were fine; however, I (personally) don't go to eat sushi for veggies and fruit, though they are nice additions. In fairness, will say that the staff was very friendly, accommodating, and nice to be around. I will also say that choosing on of their high ticket items as a comparison was markedly better than those items going around on the conveyor belt. Not outstanding, mind you, but ok. At the end of the day I found the menu in general to be unimaginable, not very robust in flavour, and underwhelming. I might go back and give it a second chance. But then again it’s pretty unlikely."

"I visited the Moseley restaurant for the first time today and I absolutely loved it! The waitress was friendly and extremely helpful. The service was great, and the food was prepared in a timely manner. The meal was amazing—very flavorful and delicious. The restaurant itself was clean and well-presented. "The Skylark is situated in a great location for a meal before a night out in Croydon. However, the atmosphere is not exactly upscale; I would even say it is family-friendly. Parking can be a bit tricky to find, so walking or taking the bus is a good option for locals. The food options often include a free beer, which is a nice touch. Many people rave about the fish and chips, but I haven't tried it yet as it seems quite heavy. I am, however, a big fan of the decent BBQ hot dog."

"My girlfriend loves noodles, and tofu, and anything with with noodles and tofu. She’s vegan, if you hadn’t guessed that. It was a sad day when her favourite restaurant, NoodleOne burned down. So, to assuage her need for noodles, as she was passing WokandGo, she thought she’d get us some Tofu Hot and Spicy, Tofu Sticky Teriyaki and some Spring Rolls… My disappointment could not be hidden; my face said it all. There was a ridiculous amount of noodles for one person; almost enough for three people from one box. When McDonalds upped their sizes to appear to the customer like they we’re getting a **** good deal, the portions were at least small enough to leave you wanting more. This could make you sick of the sight of noodles for a month! There were barely any veg or tofu in there. I really mean it, there was **** all in the box. Obviously apart from the family portion of noodles. I mean, I fished about and found a few morsel’s, but I’d argue putting “mixed veg included” on the menu is questionable. The worst thing though, is it was really bland. I ate some of both dishes and I couldn’t taste the difference. Both bland, tasteless, void of vegetables and pointlessly massive. Sticky Teriyaki, my arse. If you want food that tastes good, go elsewhere. Tesco do these 14p packs of noodles, just add water and the sachet of MSG it comes with. Apologies, I had a little spare time on my hands and I guess trip advisor is where the disgruntled sanctimonious wannabe comics hangout. At least I didn’t review an ancient Castle as being a “pile of old garbage.”"

"very long wait for delivery; never again. we made a delivery online on a Sunday evening, the delivery promised in 45 minutes. it was about an hour and still our delivery had not arrived, so we only ask ourselves that they had no idea if they were to supply our food, as there are no drivers available, and that they would call us if that had gone. I said the website promised delivery within 45 minutes and everything they said it takes more today. an hour later and we are waiting for our eating absolutely ridiculous! never order from here again."

"This place has great food, atmosphere and cocktails. The cocktails are the best and the choice is amazing. I recommend going when they have happy hour. I tried a new dish at this visit with Salmon and it was gorgeous and tasty. You can choose anything off the menu and you are guaranteed it will be tasty. My friend can’t eat gluten and she could not eat the egg fried rice. This is when I found out they don’t make the rice to order and that’s a shame and you can tell that the quality isn’t great."

"We stumbled upon this charming Thai restaurant, and it turned out to be a delightful find. There was one group of six, along with my friend and me. She ordered the Green Curry and asked for it extra hot, which she absolutely loved. I went with the Spring Rolls and Chicken Pad Thai, and they were both delicious! The waitress was lovely, and I can't find anything to fault about the service. Overall, it’s a very relaxed and laid-back atmosphere."

"1) Food Quality (5/5) The sushi/sashimi is very high quality; the fish is fresh, buttery rich and served at the correct temperature. Hot food is delicious; katsu sauce is perfectly spiced; teriyaki sauce a tad too potent but great if spread out 2) Food Range (4/5) Range acceptable. Hot food could be expanded slightly for interest e.g. to include noodles. Ready to go sushi in the fridge usually quite limited so need to order bespoke, which takes time 3) Service (2/5) Staff are a little aloof, sullen even, which seems to stem from the management down. The energy of the service needs to be made more positive 4) Atmosphere (2/5) Venue is tiny and pokey. There is no clear queue/order system so customers shuffle around each other, often having to wait outside in the cold 5) Value (3/5) Prices have risen while portion sizes have remained static or reduced. Even given today's difficult economic climate, the food feels just too expensive 6) Overall Verdict (4/5) The hot food is tasty and moreish. The sushi is bordering on exceptional. Would like prices to be more restrained, and more efficient service with more of a smile, but...the food quality drags the overall score to 4/5 7) Got to try... "From the minute we were welcomed in , without a reservation, to the minute we left, it was an amazing experience. I always think it’s a special restaurant when you can’t make the same thing at home, and the food we ordered was perfection. The menu is so well thought out and the drinks , even though we chose the non alcoholic ones (they do have alcoholic beverages) were so delicious. The service was top notch and everyone who worked there seemed to be happy to be there which is an important thing when dining anywhere. The people that bring you your food and cook your food have vibes that make for the overall experience and I must say it was a top notch experience and great food. "Booked restaurant by mistake but decided to have a go. Lovely staff. It was our 22nd anniversary but reservation seemed lost. Cocktails were poor.! mine was served in a ceramic black cup and was half full with ice cubes,the kokokura? Dinner was ok its all about a tasting menu but selection was poor. We had to order a lot to be filled up, some dishes were extremely expensive ie:the duck . Not one dish was outstanding or memorable. Service was amazing i did not dislike the reastaurant but as a chef i was disappointed, I've had better Japanese food. For people with little knowledge of food then it's worth a try can't say I would be back."

"This was highly recommended by friends who cited witnessing many Japanese businessmen dining here at lunch times as another justification for needing to try it out After failing to get a table last Saturday this place is extremely popular and busy we tried again for this Saturday, but failed again so settled for the Friday night instead We made do with a table for two and adding an extra chair for the little one on the side Considering how busy it was and how relatively small the kitchen area was they did well Decor resembles a cafe style with the sushi bar seating in addition to variety sized tables that hug the corner windows Staff were friendly and efficient The menu isn’t extensive, and that’s typically a good sign as good restaurants do well with what they are good at I’m always happy when I see a Japanese restaurant that serves Takoyaki and Unagi….but always sad when they don’t do chawanmushi Two out three is not a bad thing and their Takoyaki’s were spot on I enjoyed their maki’s too, especially their Sushi Jun specials we had the snow one I felt the donburi’s that we had were just so so, hence not quite getting the full five star rating I also felt the sashimi needs to be served on a bed of crushed ice if it isn’t stored at cold enough temp before serving However, Farnham residents are fortunate that they have this place on their doorstep and should continue supporting it"

"Nice venue (and a famous one, if you collect film locations) with a cool beer garden, where you can also bring your dog. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the food is quite disappointing, so I would only recommend going there for drinks. My chicken burger was even quite tasty, but looking sad the way it was presented. My partner's mac cheese was just bad, and my friend hardly found any meat in his dish (don't remember what it was exactly). I will definitely come back, just not for food, which is a shame."
