"Booked restaurant by mistake but decided to have a go. Lovely staff. It was our 22nd anniversary but reservation seemed lost. Cocktails were poor.! mine was served in a ceramic black cup and was half full with ice cubes,the kokokura? Dinner was ok its all about a tasting menu but selection was poor. We had to order a lot to be filled up, some dishes were extremely expensive ie:the duck . Not one dish was outstanding or memorable. Service was amazing i did not dislike the reastaurant but as a chef i was disappointed, I've had better Japanese food. For people with little knowledge of food then it's worth a try can't say I would be back."

I wouldn’t normally write a review but this was the BEST food I’ve ever eaten. The beef skewers and crispy chicken skin were particularly nice, but overall we couldn’t fault a single dish. The guy who served us (possibly the owner or the manager? was really friendly and attentive. View menu

we sat on a great table and loved the decor. while we waited for the rest of our party, they offered us to order something while we wait. 2 members of our party were not able to visit what the staff did not do, and they have checked/chatted with us for such a relaxed, friendly way.

Unusual ordering system but good range of options. Quite a few veggie options and everything we ordered was tasty. We were a bit unimpressed to be told they needed the table back a little over an hour though, especially after being moved table once. We were just about to order more, too :
