"I turned to my husband, frustrated, as it was now approaching 8:05. He glanced at me and said it was only 8:01. I insisted it was 8:05 according to my watch, but he leaned toward the register and insisted it was 8:01, displaying a rather sarcastic attitude. I don't expect this level of rudeness from restaurant staff. When he finally came to seat us, he asked how many children's menus we needed, despite our reservation clearly being for five adults. This only added to my discomfort, and even my daughter noticed how sarcastic he was. I believe he needs training in customer service. I felt like taking my family and leaving, but I didn't want to ruin their outing. This whole experience has made me reluctant to return, which is disappointing since we've been dining there at least three times a month for several years."

"Today, we visited the restaurant for my son's 11th birthday celebration with his friends. We ordered our main dishes and milkshakes from the menu. We wanted to order dessert, but we only had 25 minutes before we had to leave for laser tag. We inquired with the server if we would have enough time, and she assured us that we would. We decided to order 4 desserts. Unfortunately, only 2 desserts arrived after 5 minutes, while the other 2, including the one for my son's birthday, arrived just as we needed to leave. This 20-minute delay in serving the desserts caused my son to be upset as we had to rush through his birthday dessert. As a result, we were late for laser tag and missed a game. When I questioned the delay, I was informed that it was due to a new chef and was left with no further explanation. We also requested a balloon for each child, which was not provided, despite other children of similar age receiving them. When we inquired about the balloons, the server confirmed but never brought them. The food was mediocre, as we expected. Overall, it was one of the worst cases of service we have experienced."

"I had the 3 courses for £13.99 and I started with the Mushroom and garlic Bruscetta. This was very tasty with a nice texture and with freshly toasted bread. The main course was fish and chips with a healthy sized piece of cod. Nice flakey pieces of white fish, and then followed up by a pudding of Iced cream. I can certainly recommend the chocolate brownie for pudding, warm and tasty. We received good service despite it being half term and very busy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend. Just be aware that this is not fast food, and so expect to wait for your food to be cooked fresh."

"my wife and I asked our steaks to be done well, just to find that they were still pink in both. the height of incompetence is disturbed. After we complained when we both lost our appetit, the manager took the food out of the bill, but when we didn't even finish our drinks, she had the opportunity to invite us for the drinks! overall it was slower service, waiting staff that can not even crack a smile, chefs who obviously lost their passion for cooking and a cow that could be saved by a veterinarian."

"Now as most people who know me are aware that this girl loves her burgers, can't get enough of them I'm always willing to try new varieties etc. I ordered online from Frankie Benny's a burger chips with a starter. It was delivered on time it was still quite warm, just not hot. Which was okay as at least it wasn't cold it was being delivered approx 4 miles from the restaurant to my home. It arrived in a box which opens up like a plate saved me having to use anything else apart from my fingers to eat with. The burger was nicely cooked after I removed the soggy lettuce tomato I demolished it very quickly. A girl who loves her food says Yummmm!! Chips were a little hard for me, as they had lost heat in their travels so I didn't eat them. I have visited Frankie Benny's many many times I've always enjoyed the food their drinks. The staff are friendly helpful. You can also see into their open kitchen to see the food being prepared. I do recommend this place for you to try. Have an awesome day!! "I visited today 17.4.22 with my wife and 2 children, was met who I believe is the manager name of Tom and our waitress was called Red We would like to thank Tom and Red for their outstanding customer service and kind gesture today. I was really cold as I explained I had just come out of hospital all the doors was closed and heaters on. I would highly recommend this place as the food is outstanding and the service is 100%. "I don't often go to eat, but I love frankie bennys. at the various locations I can go and it is always a tasty bite. eating is nice and my two children ate for free. they have great cocktails and the service is friendly and fast. I would like to distinguish at least a few workers petronella and sam who made our visit even more pleasant. if they don't have to pre-book they might have to wait for the table, so better to make calls in advance. I have no complaints and my family loves it."

"that was just a normal place to eat, we would eat here again; No. the service was mediocre, there were so many children at the point that it was difficult to hear the other person who spoke to them. when they made a birthday song, they played the music so loud that it was too much in a restaurant. the bathroom looked like it had not been touched in hours, maybe all afternoon, no toilet paper in one of the stands."

"The restaurant experience was very disappointing. Upon arrival, they claimed that there was no booking under my name despite providing confirmation. Eventually, we were seated after a 20-minute wait but the service was so slow that we ended up waiting 2 hours before leaving. When the desserts finally arrived, they assured us that the child's dessert would be ready in 2 minutes. However, we had all finished our desserts and had to remind them about my son's dessert, which still hadn't been served. Overall, I would not recommend visiting this restaurant again."

"I was well impressed with this restaurant. I usually eat at F&B..and I really quick understand the differences between food and taste, between restaurants. I know also what is the standard for F&B. Bad service you keep to remember and will not make you a returning customer. This is the only restaurant in a 100 miles radius I never complained or my food was never raw. I also appreciated on my last visit a lady who was cleaning she looked more from management as she didn’t had an uniform, setting a good example in cleaning for her employees and customers by cleaning tables very thoroughly, all the spots covered. Well impressed by that especially as I work with Covid patients and I know how important is to be infectious free. The separation areas they build are important as well. The lady who was cleaning I didn’t manage to see her badge as she is a fast walker but she had a colourful mask , the only one who was actually wearing one and yes I know you can choose if you want to wear them but still for me was important as she was trying to protect others in a close environment with covid roaming around everywhere. I held myself for over 2 weeks to write this review as I was to busy but like I said I will be a returning customer.Kudos to her ! Kudos to all managers who are setting the bar high and lead by example! I eat here roughly every 2 weeks and I’m always very well treated. My favourite restaurant, if 10 stars were to be available, 10 stars from me! From the 3 restaurants that Sheffield has, this is by far the best one! Keep it up, guys!"

"6 of us booked to celebrate a special birthday 3 ordered calzone, all 3 found this to be cold in the middle (due to a lot of filling we were told) 1 was reheated in a microwave which made the whole dish soggy We all received a replacement pizza but this was disappointing and seemed to be quite salty One of the pasta dishes ordered seemed to be very salty especially in the middle My wife ordered tagliatelle but received a risotto- she ate it rather than make a fuss on her 60th birthday Although the manager was eager to offer us replacement pizza we all felt the evening was ruined by then No effort was made to offer any compensation Maybe it was just a bad night and we can all have those but I cannot imagine visiting this restaurant again I left feeling very embarrassed and sorry for my wife who should have had a memorable meal for the right reasons"

"Although we have been to F and Bs before we were disappointed this time round. Firstly the attachment highchair for my son, although the right size and nice to have him at the table was quite dirty. As it was made of canvas it would be hard to clean and did have a smell to it. The restaurant itself was very noisy and we had to really shout to hear each other at our table. The service however was good. Polite and prompt. However most disappointingly was that my wife discovered an inch long metal shard in her food! Staff apologised and made some fresh food but understandably she wasn’t too keen to eat any more and I was concerned what my children had eaten as this had a similar spaghetti dish. I would certainly think again before rebooking. Shame"

"My family and I visited the restaurant on Friday using two Groupons. Our waitress Aya was very attentive and informed us of the limitations. Despite arriving during a busy time, she took great care of us. The food was delicious, but the steak on my mixed grill was undercooked. However, they kindly removed the cost of our drinks from the bill. The service was excellent, the food was good, and the environment was perfect for families. We will definitely return!"

"My son took me for dinner here tonight and the food was excellent. I usually suffer from indigestion if I eat pizza as it's usually greasy, but this was light, crispy and really tasty. I also had a pecan pie cheesecake which was delicious. Our waiter, Jamie, was friendly, chatty and very attentive....he definitely deserves praise, as I will certainly return if his service is anything to go by.
