"My previous review of: Nice atmosphere, good food attentive staff, made a great evening, didn't come to that expectation level this time, except for Kacper who welcomed my wife I to the restaurant served us through our visit. Wanting only main meals to share from the menu, the spaghetti prawn dish was lovely, the wife was pleased we asked that the chillies came separately! On the other hand the pizza was dry sparsely accompanied with tomato, cheese or pepperoni resembled trying to eat cardboard. We asked for the pizza to be re presented with an expected covering, only to receive it back to our table with a few globules of cheese scattered on it! Okay, we ate the middle of the pizza, with a little help of some mayonnaise left the rest. While a waitress collected our plates, we informed her that the pizza was awful not to standard To our amazement she laughed walked away!!! We did eventually speak to Kacper, who had been aware of the situation we accepted his offer of refunding the pizza. We were assured that the level of our pizza was not up to their usual standard, but looking around it seemed to be exactly the same as other pizza diners were receiving! There is no shortage of tomato's, cheese or pepperoni, as far as I know, so why skimp on what you serve to your loyal customers? It definitely won't be pizza, we'll be coming back for!!!"

"Made a booking for 7pm as wasn’t sure how busy it would be and didn’t want to be turned away. Arrived 6.50pm and taken straight to table. 7pm drinks order taken. 7.20pm food order taken. Meal didn’t arrive until 8pm. Food was great and just what we ordered however the long wait ruined the enjoyment. It looked like a lot of take away orders were being prioritised above sit ins which is a disappointment. We had made the effort to attend in person and would have gladly spent more money here but the wait put us off. I wouldn’t rush back here and I wouldn’t recommend to family and friends as I wouldn’t want them to be disappointed. Sad to think that higher management may see a decline in footfall and close store because of this but the truth is people do wish to visit for a sit in meal but the poor service is off putting."

"Came today and received great service, was a short wait on food, but not incredibly bad. It was very busy and had a great atmosphere for families, we sent the kids over to the barman who was running back and forth with drinks orders to blow them some balloons up and he did it with no bother, what a true gent! Our waitress was lovely. Food was hot and my milkshake was fantastic, go for the freak shakes!!!"

"ah, the romanticism of American diners. these great burgers, phil y steaks and louisiana wings, massive milkshakes and divine deserts. it's all a recipe for a big night outside, and a big dive into her pockets! So, taking into consideration, at almost 16 pfund for a double stack, double cheese burger with fritten and koleslaw, this better worth every penny! the good news is, it's almost. a burger experience that I'll never forget after I took an exhausted and taste tasting, the Irish beef pomet was unforgettable delicious, fleshy, tasteful and lets you beg more. there is no lack of cheese what they need on a burger, these big and most burgers usually fall short on this front, a big 'no', if ever there was one. They also get noble stone salat, a gorgeous disc of tomato, pick and sauce. fries were delicious and they have no lack of sauces to choose from coleslaw, was made fresh and the best I ever had and the coffee was unlimited! the only minus is the price and much too much sauce on the burger, but the experience and quality overall was incredible. we even get happy birthday and party songs through the sound system that creates an unforgettable, joyful opportunity, and service and punctuality was also recommended top-dollar!"

"We attended this Frankies after having positive experience in other venues. We were greeted extremely well and showed to a table . The restaurant was empty other than the staff (9.00am ish). After ordering the door arrived very quickly and we started to eat. The...food has definitely been sitting under heat lamps for some time and was dry and hard to cut. My husband and I discussed that although we were happy pay for the food we should say something to the management team as this really was not how food in a very quiet restaurant should be presented. We told the manager our thoughts and all explained we were still happy to pay but thought they should know. The manager was very polite and offered us a free coffee and a discount on the food. It was handled very professionally and with a smile. Unfortunately I doubt we I’ll return after this experience and try another outlet at the airport. Training needed for the (chef) cooks."

"I went to this restaurant for my birthday with some friends and we received amazing service! The server offered us drinks before we even sat down and checked for any allergies. "I was well impressed with this restaurant. I usually eat at F&B..and I really quick understand the differences between food and taste, between restaurants. I know also what is the standard for F&B. Bad service you keep to remember and will not make you a returning customer. This is the only restaurant in a 100 miles radius I never complained or my food was never raw. I also appreciated on my last visit a lady who was cleaning she looked more from management as she didn’t had an uniform, setting a good example in cleaning for her employees and customers by cleaning tables very thoroughly, all the spots covered. Well impressed by that especially as I work with Covid patients and I know how important is to be infectious free. The separation areas they build are important as well. The lady who was cleaning I didn’t manage to see her badge as she is a fast walker but she had a colourful mask , the only one who was actually wearing one and yes I know you can choose if you want to wear them but still for me was important as she was trying to protect others in a close environment with covid roaming around everywhere. I held myself for over 2 weeks to write this review as I was to busy but like I said I will be a returning customer.Kudos to her ! Kudos to all managers who are setting the bar high and lead by example! I eat here roughly every 2 weeks and I’m always very well treated. My favourite restaurant, if 10 stars were to be available, 10 stars from me! From the 3 restaurants that Sheffield has, this is by far the best one! Keep it up, guys!"

"We took our granddaughter to the movies over the weekend and decided to treat ourselves to dinner as well. This restaurant is conveniently located just 100 meters from the cinema with plenty of parking available in the evening at The Crumbles. We hadn't dined here in a few years, but decided to give it a try on a Saturday evening. We made a reservation for a table after the movie and were warmly greeted upon our return. Despite being busy, we were seated promptly and presented with the menu. Our drinks took a little while to arrive, but we were not forgotten, as the staff was attentive and friendly. Our granddaughter enjoyed her child's meal, especially the free squishy toy that came with it. Our burgers were delicious and well-prepared, served with fresh fries and high-quality burger sauce on brioche rolls. The restaurant was clean and well-furnished, with friendly staff who checked on us multiple times during our meal. The toilets were also very clean and accessible. With ample parking and easy access for disabled patrons, this restaurant is a great choice for those visiting the cinema, harbour, or nearby shops. We would definitely dine here again."

"We tried four different restaurants including Suffolk Foodhall, Oyster Reach, and Harvester, but they were all too busy on a Saturday morning at 10:00. My daughter then suggested trying Frankie and Benny's. I wish we had gone there first, as they actually had plenty of seating and it was quite quiet. We went in, ordered our food, and it came out quickly. The staff were lovely and there was a nice atmosphere. I didn't realize they were still open, but the food was delicious and well-presented. The full English breakfast for £10.50 included eggs, sausage, toast, black pudding, beans, and mushrooms, all of which were cooked perfectly. The bacon was also delicious. There were 11 of us dining, and the young lady serving us was very attentive and kind. She made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The overall experience was good and clean, with a nice atmosphere for those looking for a pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend trying Frankie and Benny's if you are in the area and looking for good food. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal there."

The prices are reasonable, though they do feel a bit high considering the time it sometimes takes to receive your order after placing it. The staff are always friendly and attentive, which adds to the overall experience. The kids love the food, and they even get little activities to keep them entertained while they wait. That said, I have experienced wait times ranging from 30 to 70 minutes for food—an eternity for a child in a warm, crowded restaurant. Parking is convenient, but it can be a bit tricky on weekends and during the evening since it’s shared with other businesses. Cleanliness has been an issue on a few occasions, but the staff are always willing to address any concerns when asked."

"Lovely place to take the kids to on a rainy, Sunday evening. The staff were friendly and polite. We were treated well and the service was prompt. The food was great. Mac n cheese, pizza, fish goujons and spaghetti for the whole family. For pudding, the OH chose coffee but was unable to get it. He got an alternative, a different server to the one who took the order, brought him his new hot drink and apologised as their machine was having maintenance. Thought that was a lovely gesture because we didn't ask and they seemed like they felt bad for not being able to serve coffee. All staff at the time of our service were pleasant so it was a relaxed family friendly atmosphere. For sure we would visit again!"

"The food was amazing! We didn’t know what to expect from their breakfast menu, but we were pleasantly surprised. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the sausages were excellent (I always judge a breakfast by the quality of the sausage). The hash brown was impressively large, about the size of a quarter! As a delightful surprise, they brought out a beautiful strawberry dessert with a candle on a long plate, decorated with "Happy Birthday" in chocolate sauce. It truly made my fiancée's day, and she's still talking about it! It’s the little touches that mean so much. A huge thank you to Frankie and Benny's for such a wonderful and unforgettable breakfast experience! I’d rate it a perfect 10/10!"

"After booking a table well in advance, arrived at the restaurant to be told we didn’t have a booking. We were then placed at a table and a waiter, who can’t speak or understand English, took our drinks order. Having placed the drinks order, we waited in anticipation for it to arrive, when the wine and beer arrived there was one beer short. Having waited we then had to go to the front and ask for it. The waiter then got totally confused and brought more beer than was requested anyway that was sorted. We order the spicy wings that is advertised with a blue cheese dipping and of course get told there is no blue cheese dipping . The main meal seemed to go off without problems. However, we had to continually ask for the empty glasses to be removed to make place for the plates. Then we get to dessert where a restaurant doesn’t have cream to make an Irish Coffee. So all in all Frankie Benny will not see us there again"

"We absolutely loved our experience here! This was our first visit to a Frankie and Benny’s, and it definitely won't be our last. The service was excellent and incredibly fast—there was no waiting around or having to check on our orders. The food was simply amazing! My partner is quite picky about what he eats, but he had nothing but good things to say about it. I even managed to take a few photos of our meals (some partially eaten, haha). We used a Groupon voucher, which made for a smooth transaction—it didn’t disrupt our experience at all. It was worth every penny! Just a note, drinks were a bit pricey, but on the bright side, kids eat free, and my daughters loved that!"

"A Christmas function with over 70 guests in one sitting would be a challenge for most but not for this team. All the staff were simply superb and served us all with with a great attitude and a smile on their face. They were attentive, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Our waiters included Kara, Jay and Amdi amongst others. A big shout out also to the chefs and kitchen staff. All the meals were delivered in a timely manner, superbly prepared and hot. "This is the first time I've ever refused to pay for a meal! I tried one of five tiny, plastic-tasting mushrooms and the yolk of an overcooked egg. The bacon was cold, and my partner confirmed that her waffles were also cold. The waiter even mentioned that the waffles were over two hours old! I decided to speak with two staff members about my concerns, and the manager eventually offered me a generous 20% discount. After further discussion, they raised it to 50%, citing that I had eaten more than half of my meal. I must say, I found the entire conversation frustrating and unproductive (neither my partner nor I were satisfied). To sum up: AVOID this place!"

"I recently visited Frankie & Benny’s for the first time while searching for a place that offers both vegan and meat options. Dinner was excellent, and we both really enjoyed it. I had the vegan tortellini, which was delicious. However, I had to deduct a star for breakfast the following morning. We ordered both vegan and meat options, and the experience was quite disappointing for me. I received a piece of burnt toast, some unappetizing tofu, and avocado that had a bitter aftertaste, along with guacamole that I didn’t like. After having tried several vegan breakfasts over the weekend, this was by far my least favorite. I would definitely return to Frankie & Benny’s for dinner, but I’m hesitant about breakfast."
