"First time at Chichester branch. Came with the family to celebrate my parents 40th wedding anniversary. An excellent meal as always from Brasserie Blanc. Staff were welcoming, even with our very lively 4 year old, excellent service throughout. The only thing I would have preferred is to be on a round table instead of a long table as not able to chat easily with everyone but unfortunately with such a large party I don't believe they had a round table large enough. However I will continue to visit and recommend this fabulous chain, thank you BB for a lovely afternoon."

"We stayed in Colchester last year and eat at Chinatown, we were impressed by the superb food and the friendly service. We returned to Colchester for a concert and immediately decided that we had to try Chinatown again, we were not disappointed. We chose different items from the menu this time and still found the food to be high quality and very tasty. "The staff were friendly and very helpful in guiding us on how to operate the karaoke machine, which was a refreshing experience. If we wanted to order drinks or needed assistance with the karaoke, we just pressed the service button, and the staff promptly came to our room to take our orders. We had a great time that night and are already planning to return with a larger group of friends."

"1) environment (0.25/1) interesting decoration (small pot plants along the wall.) however the kitchen directly at the entrance makes the place a little conjusted look also the seats (single) can be made more comfortable 2) eating (0.75/1) the fishcakes were really tasteful, but were fried. their spring rollers were seen twice as large as the normal at other places. the vegetarian tofu pad thai was something my friend totally loved. I also enjoyed my thai curry (padped) with jasminreis. very generous portions and we loved the touch of their crushed earthen nuts together with the net! 3) service (0.25/1) service was fast, but a big part was that * they did not accept card...more"

"Faced with last-minute New Year's plans, we were attracted by the convenient location and Mediterranean small plates menu in a pub setting. When we learned that the New Years menu was a fixed price mix of Mediterranean appetizers and traditional English roast beef or salmon, we thought that would please our party of diners so long as we could share plates and not have a full-price dinner for each person. The fixed assortment of Mediterranean appetizers included a duck pate which we asked to be substituted or removed, but the argumentative server insisted it couldn't be changed and it eventually came to the table anyway. Otherwise, the appetizers were unremarkable and proved to be the best part of the meal. After a loooong wait, the entrees of roast beef and salmon arrived. Both were extremely overcooked, slathered in unappealing sauces, and none of the accompanying vegetables were as advertised in the menu. The food quality was below that of a school lunch room. When we pointed out the differences and requested the listed Yorkshire pudding, the servers told us we must have had the wrong menus. We asked for a correct one but it was never produced. The miserable evening ground on for more than two hours with intermittent and unpleasant service from the staff. We eventually complained to the manager and he had the grace to subtract one fixed price meal from the charge. It was still an overpriced, memorably bad dining experience."

"A great cocktail bar nestled in Chelsea. Had our graduation party (sort of) in a dedicated underground room, and both the staff and security were very friendly. I don't understand the negative reviews. Maybe control your alcohol intake? Nonetheless, I recommend this venue for both group bookings and single visits. I do wish that the music wasn't truly pop/electropop/rap remixes though. The wonders of rock/house would do justice to the venue. Debatable. Highly recommend."

"Table was ready and we were seated promptly. Everything is clean and tidy as always and the service is slick and prompt. If you are on a hrs break you could be done if you wanted. Unlike many restaurants that serve popadoms cold and soggy, this restaurant offered them warm and crispy, making for a delightful beginning to our meal. One aspect that could use improvement was the curry that other family members ordered—it had more of a soup-like consistency, though it was still tasty. However, the overall dining experience was enjoyable, and the service was efficient. I truly hope this restaurant receives more positive reviews because it deserves recognition for its quality. "we decided to share some pages: tempoura garnel, sweet rolls and Satay chicken. the king prawns were slender and slightly coated in the tempura lightbatter. a soy-and-wasabi-dipping sauce was the perfect companion to the four garnels. the mini spring rolls came in a part of six. They were deep fried, but not fat. simply beautiful and crispy with a delicious carrot and cauliflower. they were served with sweet chilli dip. the satay huh, marinated and on spits, came with a spicy erdnuss sauce that was absolutely delicious."

"I loved the efforts the chef put. Food was lovely!!!!!! My boyfriend wanted some fries but they didn't have any. We were okay with it but few minutes later they presented the fries which were okay but they made a homemade sauce which was absolute delight! The staff was so sweet I loved it. Later, since they don't serve fries, they didn't even add it in the bill. I felt so bad. But they were very sweet. Will definitely go back there!"

"A reasonable buffet experience not far apart from the run of the Mill however the pictures make it look like an up market Chinese serving what looks like really good food however we chose the buffet. everything was going well we ate the starters we got the Duck but when it came to ordering in the mains the staff member turns round and says you haven't finished the Duck you need to finish the duck before you move on I looked at him puzzled and said politely there's just bones there and fat we've eaten all the meat he look surprised he looked at me removed the dish with an experience waiter he should have seen what was left on the plate we were allowed to continue absolutely disgusted how dare he decide whether we've cleared our plate like children we refuse to pay the so-called 10% service charge which these restaurants are being very cleverly adding onto the bill the right to remove wasn't an option we were told we would do it kindly this time but next time we won't sorry for this place they won't be a next time we won't be coming back what these places need to remember that everybody that's coming in has paid the stupid £14 pounds to come into Portsmouth clean air payment and then have to put up a stupidness like this you're meant to come here for a good time not leave disappointed ..... about time review read and what a complete waste of time your response was eat as much as you can we did we cleared the plates I do hope this is put everybody off going here there's a shame I didn't read the reviews before I went myself what an embarrassment"

"We had an amazing experience at Ocean Treasure for my mums 70th birthday celebration. Loved the combination of the Peaky Blinders bar with the live music. "I went to the Chiang Mai Kitchen for the first time a few weeks back as part of a large party from my office. Overall I was very impressed with the whole evening.The location is very central, so convenient for those out in Oxford, although it took us a minute or two to find the entrance itself. Once inside, the surroundings were pleasant, the atmosphere good, but most importantly the food was lovely.I tried a variety of the dishes and all of them were really tasty and well cooked...some were very mild, whilst others had a real kick, but none of them tasted like they had been made more spicy for the sake of it.By way of criticisms, the food was a little slow to arrive, although I'm sure this was down to the size of our party, and sometimes it was very hard to catch the eye of staff in order to request more drinks etc.I'll definitely be going back to the Chiang Mai soon."

Unfortunately, this wasn't the right place for it. The food was just average, and while the service was decent, the atmosphere felt lacking since it was a midweek visit.
