"A decent Indian restaurant! I always want to try this because every time I came by, the delicious curry can smell. After all, the restaurant is less busy today. We had the seafood sharing dish as starter, and we also had the chicken Shahi corma and lamb shark sultani, along with garlic naan. The garlic naan is very good! Not too oily Also the stuff is really friendly! He recommended to try the plaster, it is very Crispy and goes well with the sauce. Overall, it is a very good dinner experience!"

"HALAL STATUS: NO LONGER CATERS FOR HALAL! While we easily bought into the concept of Chinese Cricket Club, and, thus, enjoyed both its ambience and its theme, the same wasn't true of the food. Truth be told, of the nine dishes had, we'd come back for two, possibly three. The problem is that when a restaurant makes use of the same base for three separate dishes, and that too the restaurant's signatures, then it's obvious that corners are being cut. Consequently, we had three plates that tasted relatively the same. If this is by design, then it makes sense given that Chinese Cricket Club is part of a hotel that would also be required to cater for the many guests visiting the restaurant. If not, then it just doesn't make much sense to us. In summary then, we were left a little disappointed given our expectations. NOTE: Be advised that the Dim Sum is made from pig. "Balbirs provided an excellent experience as always, but with a touch of sadness. The ambience was great as usual, with a more festive atmosphere as diners enjoyed what was called their "last supper" at the West End location. Unfortunately, Balbirs is closing in the West End but will continue in Ayrshire. I can't help but wonder if they will still deliver..."
