"A decent Indian restaurant! I always want to try this because every time I came by, the delicious curry can smell. After all, the restaurant is less busy today. We had the seafood sharing dish as starter, and we also had the chicken Shahi corma and lamb shark sultani, along with garlic naan. The garlic naan is very good! Not too oily Also the stuff is really friendly! He recommended to try the plaster, it is very Crispy and goes well with the sauce. Overall, it is a very good dinner experience!"

Got a takeaway but still felt valued as a customer- wonderful service and the best butter chicken I’ve had outside of India!

a great Indian restaurant. nice service, eating and atmosphere. I love the signature curry most arnero chicken tikka masala, the taste was rich in tomato sauce. it was fresh, spicy and delicious.

I enjoyed the food and service though the food was spicier than most restaurants I've used before. My wife found it too spicy but we all have different taste. If you like spice you will really enjoy the food.

amazing eating. perfect portions to have popadoms a starter and a main course with naan brot and finish everything. super tasty with really good service from the personal. I was tapped so fast that I didn't photograph it.

This place has best papdi chat off all the hotels I've tried in Manchester. The food here is very delicious and the owner chef is a very jolly fella. Food here is really nice and amazing service. The prices are quite reasonable as well. A must visit restaurant for taste of India if you're in Manchester.

Rich tasting starter/goods, light crispy bread perfectly cooked rice. Friendly courtesy staff, clean environment, reasonable prices, offered a special, although not on the menu and the most convenient Indian restaurant in the center of Manchester just minutes from the bus station or Piccadilly. Was so good had to write a review, not normal!

absolutely delicious Indian meal with exceptional service. the portions are huge. we were filled after our appetizers and they were so friendly and let us wait until we were ready for the net. we hardly touched them, but they were happy to pack them so that we could come home. the food was so good. the service even better. can owe nothing but our own stupidity to order more food than we could eat!

what a powerhouse of delicious aromen! most visited by leeds and discovered this incredible restaurant. we were not sure what to order as some of the courts were completely unknown to us, but we were led by a very helpful waiter/owner? who helped us choose. what a delicious meal we had! the aromen were quite simple from this world. we have nothing in comparison to leeds. next time we come to some places without a shadow of doubt. well done arnero, they are amazing!

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
