"This is a hidden gem in London. I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights with my daughter and from my first breakfast I was greeted with a very warm welcome from Albino who knows the names of every single guest and always smiling and friendly with everyone. Asrar is another great team member who is making amazing coffee and so friendly as well. And their manager Cesar who is taking care of every single detail 24/7. I wish I got all the names of the staff as all of them deserve a big recognition. The breakfast buffet is very good and offers a nice variety . The dinner menu offers a delicious Italian selection. Simply this is a must try restaurant. Grazie squadra"

"The service at this restaurant was exceptional, receiving a high 4-star rating. The staff were friendly, attentive, and prompt in taking our orders and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant only received a 3-star rating. While the decor was nice, the overall ambiance was lacking and didn't quite live up to our expectations. Despite this, the excellent service made up for the slightly underwhelming atmosphere."

"casual dinner with my wife on Wednesday night. the place is small and feels a bit cramped. I don't think this is a place where they come because its ambiente, but the food quality and value for money. had a starter, three dimm sum and a chow my (mainly) for my wife and me. we had to take away most of the main dishes, as we were already full. I don't have a problem ordering over an app. it could however be improved on two types: 1. clearly explain what the symbols displayed besides the directed (e.g. halal) 2. guarantee the payment transactions for the first time and remove payment options that do not work (e.g. apple pay and google pay)"

"NO REGRETS! I was greeted by the warm front of house team upon arrival and swiftly guided to my table. The waiter serving me was kind and courteous, ensuring that my needs were fulfilled in timely fashion. The decor, layout and ambience were pleasing to the eye and led to a pleasant dining experience. Onto the more important bits (for me anyway)....the food was simply AMAZING. I opted for the mixed grill, the chicken tikka karahi as well as cheese naan and fries. The fragrances were mesmerising and the presentation, great. I was pleased with the flavours and the food was undoubtedly cooked with love and expertise. The serving sizes were generous and filling too. The star of the show was the lamb chops. I found myself wanting to lick the bones. Such was the flavour profile and quality of meat. And if I was in the privacy of my home, I would have done just that hahah. My Dhabba Coventry is definitely a solid addition to my list of regulars for a good night out. "I have visited this pub a few times whilst visiting friends in the neighbourhood. I walked past the other day and had to nip into the bar to ask the bartender if I could use the toilet. Fair enough I had to buy something although was happy to make a charitable donation. What really got my goat and I felt had totally went against good customer service is that the lady insisted I make payment before going up to use the toilet (which didn’t help as I was desperate to go and am diabetic). If that is how the bartender treats people then I definitely will not go in there again. Ok I may have just needed to use the toilet but for all they know I may had plenty of cash to spend in their pub at a later date. Not impressed!!!!!"

"We visited this restaurant for the first time on 15/09/20 for a birthday celebration and I was thoroughly impressed. The background music, customized drinks, and exceptional customer service exceeded my expectations. I wish all restaurants would treat their customers the same way. "Covid blamed for all shortcomings as has become the new norm but poor service standards, cleanliness and prep are a given minimum expectation when you pay for a supposed' high class meal. Booked well in advance and made it clear that one of us was gluten intolerant. Found our booking but had to request a GF menu! Didn't have one so doctored a normal one. Starters were OK for veggies and fish eaters but nothing otherwise. Venison was chewy. Portion of fries missed. Cutlery was cheap, tables sticky, drab atmosphere. Ate here some years ago and really enjoyed it. This experience was therefore very disappointing. Makes me wonder what the rooms are like?"

"I wanted to leave a review on the other day, but was busy licking my finger: first order here. I'm just doing my little bit to help these companies stay open. I enjoyed my jerks burritos. waffeln were lovely and paella was very tasty. not sure what the sosse was in the tub, but that was also gorj. that eaten so that it is a great victor for me. only one complaint would be more huh in the burritos. that is the only reason for a 4* (but really 4 and half). I am back"

"I haven’t been to Southport since I was 12 and we stayed at Pontins! I am now 62! Today I went with my son and grandson. We arrived very early, sadly the pier was closed but we walked on the beach which was lovely. We then walked through the centre and luckily stumbled across the tea room. I just loved the whole place, the decor and the ethos was amazing. The furniture and the clock chiming reminding me of my grandparents home as a child. I loved the music too. The staff were so friendly and so professional. My grandson was fascinated by their delightful manners and it was so lovely because I am constantly trying to remind him of the importance of manners. My son and I had the full English breakfast. It really was fabulous. My grandson is a really fussy eater and said he wasn’t hungry. He ate one of my sausages and later on said could we go again so he could have his own breakfast. I can safely say we will most definitely return in the future. In this very modern world of fast and bland food your tea room proved that quality, tradition and fabulous food can be found in ‘The Westminster Tea Rooms, Southport. THANKYOU. "We decided to come here for dinner after having lunch last year. I’m not sure why we waited so long as it was lovely. I can’t fault the food at all, our steaks were cooked to perfection! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was down to service, we were in a side room and the staff only really came in when they were delivering food. It wouldn’t stop us returning as the food was fabulous."

"eating and service are not disappointed. we came for an early Sunday dinner and left satiated accordingly. between the four of us we had two Sunday dinners, a roast beef and a beef-short rib and two sandwiches a tuna-cop and a warm fish-finger sandwich. all were well prepared and well presented. this is our second time to dinning here and we will definitely come back. many thanks again to all their employees."

"Absolutely fabulous food. We were so glad we chose here. My husband had pate as a starter then the roast of the day which was beef, thick slices of proper roast beef and beautiful fresh vegetables. I had as a starter the fishcake. My main was huge haddock and chips which was so fresh, delicious.All this for £15.95 plus £1 extra for the haddock. I cannot recommend The Seabirds enough. The staff were efficient and friendly and a quick service. We shall return to lovely Flamborough just to eat here!."

"I had a voucher from Gourmet Dining Smartbox by Buyagift and chose to dine at this restaurant last night. We were greeted by a friendly smile from our waiter Michael, but unfortunately, the service went downhill from there as he seemed very rushed. While I understand that he was busy, another waitress with long red hair was quite rude when we expressed our dissatisfaction and didn't seem to care about our concerns. On a positive note, the lamb pie we ordered was delicious. However, due to the poor service, we have no plans to return to this restaurant."

"We were staying at Lady Heyes and decided to take a short walk to the nearest pub. Upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome. The owners, a husband and wife team, had only just taken over a week before. The customer service was amazing! We ordered starters of salt and pepper chicken skewers and halloumi fries, both of which were very tasty. For two people, our bill for two starters, two mains, and two drinks was very affordable. We had a lovely experience and will definitely be returning. I highly recommend it! For our mains, we had gammon and chips, as well as a steak burger."
