"Our visit to Romantica in Mere Green Sutton Coldfield with friends was the first in some time. It was busy on a Saturday night and the food was still excellent and the prices have risen by some margin. The starters were all tasty and included salmone affumicato, crochette di pesce (fishcakes), and two calamari fritti. For the mains we had the lasagne, pollo boscaiola and two manzo alla stroganoff. We had two side vegetables which were not as good as our previous visit over a year ago and the broccoli was al dente and too hard for pour paletes. For deserts we had two delicious tiramisus. The bill for four with drinks came to £165.00 and the service was excellent. Regards Gary Saunders"

Visited this restaurant for the first time with family on a Saturday afternoon. I can't recommend it highly enough! We all struggled to choose starters and mains because there were so many delicious sounding dishes! The food was lovely, generous portions and the service was outstanding. We can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes on the menu.
