"Popped in to try the lunch specials. What can I say... Experienced staff who really know how to look after customers. The food was fantastic. Our veg was cooked to perfection, which isn't the case in many restaurants. The chicken was so good and again, cooked to perfection. I'm not usually a big coffee person however mine was lovely. There's also a really good gluten free menu. I can't recommend the Piccolo Mondo, Renfrew highly enough!"

"I booked the restaurant from looking at the reviews and I felt that it was worth a go. From the outside I wasn’t sure. It looked a little shall we say, dated, but upon entering the restaurant the décor was beautiful. We were seated and throughout the service was adequate. The pakora wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but still nice. The curry however was tasty. The chicken was incredibly tender. Reasonably priced. Worth the money I would say. However the toilets would do with a face lift. Over all would say it was good and that I would go back"

"The food seems reasonable for the price. I enjoy the food and the jasmine tea is nice. They refill the pots at no extra cost. I have been over the years and it has changed a bit in style and quality of food. I think the staff are nice and considerate. They check if we want to wait between courses, or if we are resting etc. I never feel rushed on the busy nights and often they recommend on portion sizes. I often go on quiet nights compared to weekend busy nights so my experience may be different conpared to other reviews."

"a great place to stay after our walk on the great glen wayz, we had lunch and dinner there because it was so good! risotto and steam were delicious. how was the cracker, though more fish in the crack would have been brilliant! the bedroom (annex) was wonderful with a heated towel rail, tw, hot chocolate biscuits, amazing tee (passion fruit and black) and coffee. the personal was beautiful! the next morning when we had a 6 o'clock to get to inverness, they let us have some bowls and spoons so we could have breakfast before leaving in our rooms! would definitely recommend this place. you can also see the employment of young locals in the restaurant!"

"very small restaurant at the side of the pub. It was fine. Food was good but service was strange. They brought the prossecco but the waitress said she couldn’t open it so we did it ourselves (although sue said she would get someone who could)!. The 2nd bottle she brought it already opened. The band arrived in the pub so it got a little noisy but it was ok as we knew there would be a band playing that evening. The food was good."

"I made a reservation to watch the England game and was seated at a fantastic table right in front of the screen. The food was outstanding, surpassing the quality of other Indian restaurants in the area that I have visited. Despite the pub being crowded, our server Theresa provided excellent service, even managing a few noisy tables. I highly recommend this establishment."

"Nice comfortable chairs, good lighting and ambience. Service was great. However, we paid £110 for a meal for 2 and a bottle of wine, and it just wasn’t worth it. Hot food was over cooked and difficult to chew. (Cold dishes were lovely though). I might return for a sharing plate and a couple of beers, but main course dishes at £20 each that were not well cooked made it a disappointing review"

"Ordered takeaway online Message said collect in Arrived on Tim only to be told that the machine hadn’t printed my order. Young girl behind the counter hand wrote it and took it to the kitchen. minutes later food arrived. Chilli mushrooms that came...with some salad that looked as though it had wilted a couple of days ago. That went straight into the bin. Mushrooms soon followed. Went to the main and plain naan Chilli chicken and rice. Chicken was Luke warm at best and chewy. The sauce was very watery and had a sweet after taste, not a pleasant one either. Needless to say that followed the starter into the bin. The naan bread was supposed to be just a bog standard plain one. It was oranges on top and burnt underneath and like trying to rip thick cardboard and impossible to chew. I did try but it tasted like cooking fat that has been used beyond endurance and also had the same weird flavour that the sauce for the main had. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day. You have to decide for yourself if you get food from there."

"the service was friendly and the place clean and warm, but eating was not quite on scratches. we had the caries and while the meat was in order (the crack was also good crunchy,) the sweet was not so good. the kartoffels seemed. to be deep-fried (the skin was dark and crispy, but full of oil) the brokkoli was a mixture of overcooked (mushy) and undercooked (rock-resistant) pieces and the cauliflower was very watery. for the price I would have expected a better quality, and I hope he will improve in the future."
