"Amazing food as always, fantastic customer and delivery service. Very kind and polite, takes messages of food into account and prepares as requested. I have disabilities so I truly appreciate, staff's patience when delivering food. I feel guilty for constantly ordering from Balti Raj, I just can't stop. The food quality is amazing and honestly affordable. I have bought food from other restaurants, where the portion is just about enough for one person and everything is so expensive, that we have ended up going without food, at times. However, I have been grateful that we are getting something to eat and because of my grateful attitude. I have been blessed to remember about Balti Raj and we have been eating well since ordering from Balti Raj, Alhamdulillah. "Used this place has a late night curry has my friend said it’s okay I had lamb madras and mild chicken curry with boiled rice and naan bread by the time I got home which was a 5 mile Trek across the other side of town the food was still piping or plus the owner gave us free Pompa Dom‘s and onion chutney which was a nice. Food tasted very nice. Location is easy to find has soon has you enter hersall lane its the 1st left just after the bathroom company and 200 yds on your right by the 1 junction food is good the takeaway building could do with a revamp otherwise I recommend this late night balti shop."

"Orders through just eat and the deliver time was an hour and ten minutes. After this time the app updated to say the food had been delivered but nothing had arrived. I rang direct and was told that the order had been lost in the kitchen and hadn't even been processed. Promised it would be delivered within half an hour. I rang again 45 minutes later and was told it was on the way. Order didn't arrive until a further 25 minutes later. Driver was apologetic and said a driver had broken down. Might have been believable if it hadn't been for the initial mistake with the order and the 2 hour delay. He offered half price next time but I assured him there wouldn't be a next time after such poor service. Sat down to cold food at 9pm after placing the order at 6.19pm. Just awful. Avoid at all costs."

"I had an amazing experience at this pub. The staff provided great service and were very friendly. They did a great job hosting the Knuckle FC social event. "The only downside to this restaurant was the noise level. We were seated at a small table in the middle of the room, which made conversation difficult. However, we loved the creative and tasty Brie bruschetta as an appetizer. The steak we shared was perfectly seasoned and cooked to our liking. Although it wasn't a traditional US cut of beef, we appreciated that it was not corn-fed for environmental reasons. The sticky toffee pudding for dessert was fantastic - warm, moist, but could have used more sauce. The service was attentive as well."

"First time at a Carluccio Restaurant and it was ok. Visited with three friends. The food I ordered was really tasty, but one of meals we ordered to share was not and it was the calamari. When we told one of the staff, they were kind enough to take it off the bill as we hardly touched it. So, thank you for that. Other than that, I polished off my meal as I was super hungry after an afternoon walking around the V&A. Hence my four stars. For the staff: please clean the seats as well when clearing the tables as ours still had crumbs from previous guests. Also kindly clean the toilets at least every hour as having toilet paper all over the floor is not a pretty sight. Other than that, keep up the good job."

"Great service but food very disappointing and overpriced. Mini antipasti was very poor. One piece of Parma ham and a slice of salami with pickled vegetables , olives , chutney and a breadstick. Not antipasti in my book! Mini or not. One of our party found the tiramisu the worst she had ever tasted anywhere. Beautiful employees but shocking chef. The tempura fried seafood was terrible and no batter on the king prawns. Nothing seemed fresh and had been reheated. Will not be back. Unfortunate as it is a beautiful restaurant with great staff."

"I received the group on voucher as a gift, so was really looking forward to going for afternoon tea to celebrate my sisters birthday. What a let down. there was a toaster left out filthy next to our table. Staff didn 't want to be there (although they were lovely when talking to us, No one asked if we were vegetarian etc. I asked what teas they have and a lady brought over a box and said 'there 's some in there, have a look ' so i felt awkward and just selected normal, she didn 't even ask my sister. Had to ask for my sisters prosecco, No music on, sat by a door that was broken and staff and customers kept banging shut and moving the metal arm on the top up and down. Sandwiches were rock hard, the watercress on top was pathetic. Cakes were nice and so was the scone. Its clear to me that the hotel has gone down in standards as everything seemed to be budget. There was only 3 tables in and i understand why. I wouldn 't return again."

"Went on 4/4/24 to see Cold Flame who were an excellent Jethro Tull tribute band, table was reserved as requested. My only concerns are the venue was cold. lt was happy hour and got changed £15 .20 for pint of lager and a double bicardi and diet coke (off the pump,not a can). After happy hour,it is 10%more. I feel this is rather expensive . Also disabled toilets in another bar across the courtyard"

"The food was good apart from the Jalfrezi. The chicken was hard and chewy. I had to throw half of it away. I’ve had this a few times and it has been hit and miss. The regular plain chicken is lovely and tender. The garlic chilli masala was lovely. Big portion. 10 pieces of chicken. The madras was also very good."
