"I just want to say that I'll be back here. came for a afternoon dinner and the food quality was amazing. the menu has many options and I decided to try to merge the huh with omelette with a rice floor. that was so soft, melted in my mouth. the same can be said for the salmon, I was in various restaurants that serve lachs in pieces or on a floor of rice, I can say that this place was the best I had in terms of taste and texture. the restaurant itself had a very warm and cozy environment with very cool tables. the staff is attentive during the meal to ensure that they take care of themselves. the only thing I would say was that it was a tad on the expensive side. However, I have always said whether the quality corresponds to the price, then this can be overlooked. would definitely recommend this place to others, but note that the huh is only half here."

"Hard to find a good-yet-priced-reasonably Japanese restaurant in Mayfair! Miyama is a good solution. We dined there and had the 42 GBP tasting menu (yes not 75 GBP). Most guests at other tables were Japanese (or Asian). Sushi and sashimi were good, black cod was decent. My scallops were slightly over peppered. Overall the restaurant interior is not the nicest (very white). Staff is nice and very attentive. Will come back!"

"Boyfriend had never been to afternoon tea but this one really stood out to us as we both enjoy Japanese food and this was a little ‘different’ from the usual (in the best kind of way) We booked it in the morning and turned up at 2:00. Brought downstairs the service was very good although hard to get people’s attention sometimes, they did eventually float back around to you. We chose ochakai. Staff were always friendly. They checked allergies too. When the food came out it looked incredible, although some of the pots (karage) were hard to get out of the frame it was all part of the fun. Everything tasted incredible and very authentic. The quality of the fish on the complimentary nigiri (sea bream and tuna given as part of their anniversary celebration) was so fresh and rich. The matcha was prepared in front of us with little pomp and circumstance making it approachable for something that may come across very formal or ceremonial. The whole experience was gorgeous and would love to do again. Be back soon x"

"Wonderful food as always, with finest ingredients immaculately prepared and served by Jenice and the team. Japanese is never cheap but at least with Suhinoen you can taste the quality and value. Would and regularly do recommend for lunch or dinner and no one is ever disappointed and it usually becomes a favourite of theirs too. There is bar code ordering (very Japanese) but just have a word when you get there as you can still just order from the waiting staff."

"I was introduced to this restaurant by a friend, and even though I am familiar with Leeds, I would have a hard time finding it on my own due to its remote location."
"Stunning Japanese restaurant close to South Kensington tube station. The owner is Japanese and they are known for importing ingredients and distributing them to other Japanese restaurants in London so have the best knowledge and understanding of Japanese cuisine. That being said, the menu here is a contemporary take on Japanese food but you can also find classic sushi (both nigiri and sashimi alongside more ‘fun’ dishes like ‘miso cappuccino’ (miso soup with a foam in a stylish teacup and matcha tiramisu for dessert. I love the wagyu rolls as well Compared to their other location just off High Street Kensington (Argyll road I believe? , the atmosphere at Yashin Ocean house is a little livelier and works for both dates or events like a birthday or company party. They also have a very nice bar on one side of the restaurant and a great selection of sake and Japanese whisky’s like the Hibiki brand. My only complaint is not a complaint but a suggestion unless you know this place exists, you would never guess it is a restaurant inside this beautiful heritage building they need a more obvious sign outside otherwise I would have walked past thinking it is a private house or small museum. The interiors inside are a mix of contemporary like exposed brick walls whilst keeping some of the elements of the Victorian building. A very quirky and cool place!"

"The restaurant has a great atmosphere and offers high-quality street food. The menu has a good variety of choices at affordable prices. I highly recommend trying the duck in tamarind sauce and the spicy pork and egg dishes, each priced at £7.50."
