"we approached the writing and asked for a table of 6 to say: "Don't worry about anything until 8 o'clock". that was around 6.05 clock, the restaurant was half empty ... so we went online for 6.15 clock with open re-entered ... told them we had a reservation, observed “some heated words”. between the staff and we were taken to a perfectly empty table for 6. just 50 minutes waiting for our food. that said our server was friendly and apologetic. eating was ok, 2 pizzas, 3 calzones and a sirloin steak, that was definitiw rump, as it was to think and took hard to sirloin! to the happiness we have a taste card so that the meal with a softdrink cost only £10 per head, and we were limited due to a cinema booking for time. lection learned book before entering, and use it taste card, not sure that I would have paid the bill in full amount, we had not discounted!"

"We went to Frankie and Benny’s for a delicious authentic Italian lunch as we were getting hungry and wanted to break up a jubilee line journey from Stratford to Green park and remembered this was here and having been once before and liking it I decided to go back.The service was exemplary,our waiter was just fantastic very friendly,chatty and polite.He handed my gluten free allergy really well.Also food came out in about 10 minutes which was great bearing in mind it was all so fresh!The food was absolutely delicious,my gluten free pepperoni pizza was heavenly and you couldn’t get more Italian than a Frankie’s gluten free pepperoni pizza.It was lovely and hot,presented well,good portion sizes,extremely fresh and very good for money!Infact if you visit at lunch time you get 1 course for £9.90.That’s fantastic value and better value than places like Nando’s etc.And with just buying tap water it’s a real bargain which is great as water is one of my favourite drinks,you can never ever ever go wrong with a glass of water.It’s good for you and boots you’re hydration and well-being.Also the decor in here is lovely,all very fresh and beautifully decorated.I love the new Frankie’s decor it’s just so nice and I love it how they have re-visited it.It’s much cooler(temperature wise and fashion wise).I love the lights as well.It is also very spacious and clean.Also toilets were convenient and clean.This is a perfect place for a meal if you are on a train journey,before or after shopping, cinema,bowling or concert.Or after a trampoline session,skydiving session,climbing session or during a day out in London.Would highly recommend this.I reviewed it on tripadvisor as they were displaying the 2022 travellers choice award and they had quite a lot of negative reviews recently and to share my positive experience may help them have that award again this year or in future years"

"I was pleasantly surprised by this place. definitiw the best vegan pizza I had gone since the vegan. better than dominos and pizza hat. no competition. also the vegan “wings” were delicious and the chips with cheese were amazing and this vegan burger.... really surprised how much I enjoyed it. juicy, tasteful and free. all in all, I'd be pretty high up there. I would eat pizza again, but not dominos or pizza hat. both places were müll with vegan pizza. also pizza express vegan pizza were classified lower than here. "My friend I booked a table here for dinner as we had been here previously and loved it. When we arrived we asked if we could sit outside however the waitress said this is fine but would require the table back for half 7 (we arrived just gone 6) and that if we sat inside there would be no rush for giving the table back. We sat inside and most of the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food drinks were great aswell. However when it got to about 10 past 8 we were told that our time had run out on the table and we had to leave now and that when you book it says you have 2 hours despite a dessert menu being offered to us 10 mins before this. There was no heads up or prior warning given, the waiter then came over with the bill before we could even finish our drinks asking how we’d like to pay before we’d even discussed it. Once the bill had been paid and taken we were finishing our drink when the waiter came over for the third time and said you need to leave now and give us the table back and stood by the table waiting for us to stand up and go. Having been told there would be no rush to give the table back and not given any sort of 15 min warning so we could Atleast finish the drinks and request the bill ourselves the way this was handled completely ruined the nice food and drinks we’d had and rather than going to the bar we chose to go elsewhere because we didn’t feel welcome. Quite honestly it felt like we’d done something wrong and were being ushered out of the building. Really disappointing end to what was a nice meal out."

"We chose this as a post -theatre meal after seeing a matinee in London. Being near the theatre it was very busy but the staff couldn't be more friendly and efficient. The food was excellent all round and they catered for our special requests without any trouble. If we find ourselves in this area again we will certainly choose to eat at F&Bs."

"Disappointing from the moment we entered. Had to wait longer than expected to be seated and the waitress took far too long to take our drinks order, despite the restaurant not being at capacity. When she did arrive we had already decided on our starters and main course and ordered everything together. The starters arrived but we still had no drinks, very embarrassing from a restaurant point of view. The starters were fine but the mains were way below par. Pasta was slimy and oily and contained only had 3 small meatballs. The included bacon was fatty and undercooked. There was not one single checkback from the waitress. Overall, a very poor experience and we won't be in a hurry to return."

"I haven't been to a Frankie & Benny's in years, so my girlfriend and I decided to have dinner there tonight. I started with mozzarella sticks, which were good, and she had cheese bacon potato skins, which she enjoyed, so we were off to a good start. I ordered a margherita pizza and she ordered bolognese. However, the cheese on the pizza was hard, congealed, and plasticky (definitely not mozzarella), so I had to pick a lot of it off. The pasta in the bolognese was a strange brown color instead of a red tomato sauce, and my girlfriend thought it tasted odd (some of the pasta was also congealed). We also ordered loaded lava fries, which arrived dry with no sauce, so I had to send them back to be made properly. The total bill came to nearly £50, but luckily they accepted my blue light card, so we got a 20% discount. If it weren't for the discount, I would have been even more displeased. We definitely won't be returning, so save your money and go somewhere that serves better quality food."

"I understand that it was Mother's Day, but a reservation should not have been accepted if there was no possibility of being seated close to the scheduled time. My group of six, including two young children, had to wait by the front door for 25 minutes past our reservation time. We were then instructed to wait at the crowded bar, which was being used as a makeshift waiting area. Eventually, we gave up and left as it seemed like there was no organization or control. The staff blamed the delays on the kitchen, but it appeared that they had lost control of the situation. People were cutting in line and being escorted directly to the bar, with no consideration given to those who had been waiting. It was clear that the restaurant was not prepared for the busy Mother's Day rush."

"the new vegan menu is wonderful! pizzas, soupen, hot dogs, burger, mac n cheese, garlic bread pizza, vegan mayo, ice...so much choice! really recommend the kansas city pizza the mac no cheese (cauliflower butternut squash sauce) is quite a small part, so it would be as one side to another dish, but not alone. update feb 2021: the beet burger with fried aubergine is amazing! oreo cake was also delicious. it tasted as if it had been made with whipped cream."

"Made a booking for 7pm as wasn’t sure how busy it would be and didn’t want to be turned away. Arrived 6.50pm and taken straight to table. 7pm drinks order taken. 7.20pm food order taken. Meal didn’t arrive until 8pm. Food was great and just what we ordered however the long wait ruined the enjoyment. It looked like a lot of take away orders were being prioritised above sit ins which is a disappointment. We had made the effort to attend in person and would have gladly spent more money here but the wait put us off. I wouldn’t rush back here and I wouldn’t recommend to family and friends as I wouldn’t want them to be disappointed. Sad to think that higher management may see a decline in footfall and close store because of this but the truth is people do wish to visit for a sit in meal but the poor service is off putting."

"The food was amazing! We didn’t know what to expect from their breakfast menu, but we were pleasantly surprised. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the sausages were excellent (I always judge a breakfast by the quality of the sausage). The hash brown was impressively large, about the size of a quarter! As a delightful surprise, they brought out a beautiful strawberry dessert with a candle on a long plate, decorated with "Happy Birthday" in chocolate sauce. It truly made my fiancée's day, and she's still talking about it! It’s the little touches that mean so much. A huge thank you to Frankie and Benny's for such a wonderful and unforgettable breakfast experience! I’d rate it a perfect 10/10!"

"I've visited this restaurant several times, and each time has been consistently positive. The quality of the food is excellent, and the portion sizes are quite generous, especially the hotdogs. The ground floor access is great for those with disabilities, as there are no steps to navigate. While there can be occasional wait times, especially during peak hours, it’s to be expected. The prices are reasonable, though they do feel a bit high considering the time it sometimes takes to receive your order after placing it. The staff are always friendly and attentive, which adds to the overall experience. The kids love the food, and they even get little activities to keep them entertained while they wait. That said, I have experienced wait times ranging from 30 to 70 minutes for food—an eternity for a child in a warm, crowded restaurant. Parking is convenient, but it can be a bit tricky on weekends and during the evening since it’s shared with other businesses. Cleanliness has been an issue on a few occasions, but the staff are always willing to address any concerns when asked."

"After booking a table well in advance, arrived at the restaurant to be told we didn’t have a booking. We were then placed at a table and a waiter, who can’t speak or understand English, took our drinks order. Having placed the drinks order, we waited in anticipation for it to arrive, when the wine and beer arrived there was one beer short. Having waited we then had to go to the front and ask for it. The waiter then got totally confused and brought more beer than was requested anyway that was sorted. We order the spicy wings that is advertised with a blue cheese dipping and of course get told there is no blue cheese dipping . The main meal seemed to go off without problems. However, we had to continually ask for the empty glasses to be removed to make place for the plates. Then we get to dessert where a restaurant doesn’t have cream to make an Irish Coffee. So all in all Frankie Benny will not see us there again"

"A Christmas function with over 70 guests in one sitting would be a challenge for most but not for this team. All the staff were simply superb and served us all with with a great attitude and a smile on their face. They were attentive, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Our waiters included Kara, Jay and Amdi amongst others. A big shout out also to the chefs and kitchen staff. All the meals were delivered in a timely manner, superbly prepared and hot. No mean feat when the party is so large. Thank you to all the team at Frankie and Bennys Dudley. We will be back next year for sure"

"I recently visited Frankie & Benny’s for the first time while searching for a place that offers both vegan and meat options. Dinner was excellent, and we both really enjoyed it. I had the vegan tortellini, which was delicious. However, I had to deduct a star for breakfast the following morning. We ordered both vegan and meat options, and the experience was quite disappointing for me. I received a piece of burnt toast, some unappetizing tofu, and avocado that had a bitter aftertaste, along with guacamole that I didn’t like. After having tried several vegan breakfasts over the weekend, this was by far my least favorite. I would definitely return to Frankie & Benny’s for dinner, but I’m hesitant about breakfast."

"We had an outstanding dining experience with excellent food and exceptional service. The staff's drink recommendations were fantastic and truly exceeded our expectations. The new vegan menu was perfect for my lactose intolerant friend, and I even enjoyed some of the dishes myself! The Oreo freakshake was devilishly good, and the chicken Parmigiana plant was enormous.
