"we approached the writing and asked for a table of 6 to say: "Don't worry about anything until 8 o'clock". that was around 6.05 clock, the restaurant was half empty ... so we went online for 6.15 clock with open re-entered ... told them we had a reservation, observed “some heated words”. between the staff and we were taken to a perfectly empty table for 6. just 50 minutes waiting for our food. that said our server was friendly and apologetic. eating was ok, 2 pizzas, 3 calzones and a sirloin steak, that was definitiw rump, as it was to think and took hard to sirloin! to the happiness we have a taste card so that the meal with a softdrink cost only £10 per head, and we were limited due to a cinema booking for time. lection learned book before entering, and use it taste card, not sure that I would have paid the bill in full amount, we had not discounted!"

"We went to Frankie and Benny’s for a delicious authentic Italian lunch as we were getting hungry and wanted to break up a jubilee line journey from Stratford to Green park and remembered this was here and having been once before and liking it I decided to go back.The service was exemplary,our waiter was just fantastic very friendly,chatty and polite.He handed my gluten free allergy really well.Also food came out in about 10 minutes which was great bearing in mind it was all so fresh!The food was absolutely delicious,my gluten free pepperoni pizza was heavenly and you couldn’t get more Italian than a Frankie’s gluten free pepperoni pizza.It was lovely and hot,presented well,good portion sizes,extremely fresh and very good for money!Infact if you visit at lunch time you get 1 course for £9.90.That’s fantastic value and better value than places like Nando’s etc.And with just buying tap water it’s a real bargain which is great as water is one of my favourite drinks,you can never ever ever go wrong with a glass of water.It’s good for you and boots you’re hydration and well-being.Also the decor in here is lovely,all very fresh and beautifully decorated.I love the new Frankie’s decor it’s just so nice and I love it how they have re-visited it.It’s much cooler(temperature wise and fashion wise).I love the lights as well.It is also very spacious and clean.Also toilets were convenient and clean.This is a perfect place for a meal if you are on a train journey,before or after shopping, cinema,bowling or concert.Or after a trampoline session,skydiving session,climbing session or during a day out in London.Would highly recommend this.I reviewed it on tripadvisor as they were displaying the 2022 travellers choice award and they had quite a lot of negative reviews recently and to share my positive experience may help them have that award again this year or in future years"

"Head staff were very rude and service terrible .. the main food took forever , sides didn’t come with the main dishes when they did finally arrive . Only one desert came we reminded them two times we was still waiting then the head waiter rudely told us we had to go asap because the table was needed . He still insisted while we politely explained the food had taken forever and we was still waiting on a desert . We ended up rushing and even had our drinks cancelled no finding us somewhere else to finish deserts and drinks absolutely appalling . On a plus the young girl serving was embarrassed and couldn’t understand the behaviour of her superiors , it’s a shame she wasn’t in charge . The only good thing about this place is convenience but there are plenty of better options as it certainly wasn’t a cheap night maybe we should have kept complaining instead of being patient . Avoid ."

"I was pleasantly surprised by this place. definitiw the best vegan pizza I had gone since the vegan. better than dominos and pizza hat. no competition. also the vegan “wings” were delicious and the chips with cheese were amazing and this vegan burger.... really surprised how much I enjoyed it. juicy, tasteful and free. all in all, I'd be pretty high up there. I would eat pizza again, but not dominos or pizza hat. both places were müll with vegan pizza. also pizza express vegan pizza were classified lower than here. "Celebrated my granddaughter’s 12 birthday meal at this top class restaurant. Warm welcome on arrival and the gentleman who served us went way and above to ensure it was a meal to remember. This gentleman couldn’t do enough to ensure all our food was cooked to our satisfaction. An employee that the owners should be proud off. All the food was cooked to perfection and the bill was reasonable. I certainly would endorse this restaurant with 10 out of 10 and would highly recommend a visit"

"personal and service: personal was very friendly, funny, social and very welcoming! we enjoyed our time and had a big laugh. very ingenious main course eating and drinking: eating was okay, the portions were more than generous and the presentation was a little chaotic, but definitiw okay. the chicken and the ribs were sad a little dry, but slightly balanced with the marinade and BBQ sauce. the chips were both soft and crispy and tasted great. the steak after my companion was cooked as desired and tasted amazing. the mood was really cold, everyone laughed, people were nice, the place gave me American vibes funny enough, but the mood was overall very good. dessert: the Belgian chocolate wing cake was super delicious. I liked the creamy chocolate and the overall cake. the presentation of the cake was very nice and served with a smile. the restaurant was clean, the places to sit were good, and the price fits almost to eat. I think it's a little on the high side, but overall good! the water was free, which was really nice! I would recommend a crash here with some friends or even a date. (time for food arrival: 20 mins"

"We'd originally tried an independent place but turned out the great vegan menu on their website was no more available, so last minute trip to a chain. We were served really quickly, and I think their vegan options were different to last time I'd been. I went for lots of vegan cheese options. Nearly £13 for a pasta dish felt a bit much, but it was filling with lots of flavour and loaded with more than just tomato sauce. The dessert was very sweet and rich; I'd share one next time."

"I understand that it was Mother's Day, but a reservation should not have been accepted if there was no possibility of being seated close to the scheduled time. My group of six, including two young children, had to wait by the front door for 25 minutes past our reservation time. We were then instructed to wait at the crowded bar, which was being used as a makeshift waiting area. Eventually, we gave up and left as it seemed like there was no organization or control. The staff blamed the delays on the kitchen, but it appeared that they had lost control of the situation. People were cutting in line and being escorted directly to the bar, with no consideration given to those who had been waiting. It was clear that the restaurant was not prepared for the busy Mother's Day rush."

"the new vegan menu is wonderful! pizzas, soupen, hot dogs, burger, mac n cheese, garlic bread pizza, vegan mayo, ice...so much choice! really recommend the kansas city pizza the mac no cheese (cauliflower butternut squash sauce) is quite a small part, so it would be as one side to another dish, but not alone. update feb 2021: the beet burger with fried aubergine is amazing! oreo cake was also delicious. it tasted as if it had been made with whipped cream."

"The appetizers were excellent, but the main courses were just average. I mentioned it was a birthday celebration when booking, but the restaurant did not have the online booking information. When we arrived, I informed the receptionist about the birthday, but they seemed unaware. "We brought a group of 60 children and 7 staff members to have dinner at Frankie and Benny's in Peterborough (Fengate) and we were extremely impressed by our experience. It can be challenging to have so many 10 to 11 year olds in a restaurant, but we can honestly say that the 2 hours we spent there were fantastic. The food was excellent, it arrived quickly, was served efficiently, and was absolutely delicious. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every child had a great time, and the adults were also very impressed. Every member of the staff worked tirelessly, particularly 'Ben' who made a great effort to engage with the children and talk to them. The complimentary Pokémon cards given to the children were a nice touch as well! 10/10 service! Thank you."

"Made a booking for 7pm as wasn’t sure how busy it would be and didn’t want to be turned away. Arrived 6.50pm and taken straight to table. 7pm drinks order taken. 7.20pm food order taken. Meal didn’t arrive until 8pm. Food was great and just what we ordered however the long wait ruined the enjoyment. It looked like a lot of take away orders were being prioritised above sit ins which is a disappointment. We had made the effort to attend in person and would have gladly spent more money here but the wait put us off. I wouldn’t rush back here and I wouldn’t recommend to family and friends as I wouldn’t want them to be disappointed. Sad to think that higher management may see a decline in footfall and close store because of this but the truth is people do wish to visit for a sit in meal but the poor service is off putting."

"The food was amazing! We didn’t know what to expect from their breakfast menu, but we were pleasantly surprised. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the sausages were excellent (I always judge a breakfast by the quality of the sausage). The hash brown was impressively large, about the size of a quarter! As a delightful surprise, they brought out a beautiful strawberry dessert with a candle on a long plate, decorated with "Happy Birthday" in chocolate sauce. It truly made my fiancée's day, and she's still talking about it! It’s the little touches that mean so much. A huge thank you to Frankie and Benny's for such a wonderful and unforgettable breakfast experience! I’d rate it a perfect 10/10!"

"After booking a table well in advance, arrived at the restaurant to be told we didn’t have a booking. We were then placed at a table and a waiter, who can’t speak or understand English, took our drinks order. Having placed the drinks order, we waited in anticipation for it to arrive, when the wine and beer arrived there was one beer short. Having waited we then had to go to the front and ask for it. The waiter then got totally confused and brought more beer than was requested anyway that was sorted. We order the spicy wings that is advertised with a blue cheese dipping and of course get told there is no blue cheese dipping . The main meal seemed to go off without problems. However, we had to continually ask for the empty glasses to be removed to make place for the plates. Then we get to dessert where a restaurant doesn’t have cream to make an Irish Coffee. So all in all Frankie Benny will not see us there again"

"A Christmas function with over 70 guests in one sitting would be a challenge for most but not for this team. All the staff were simply superb and served us all with with a great attitude and a smile on their face. They were attentive, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Our waiters included Kara, Jay and Amdi amongst others. A big shout out also to the chefs and kitchen staff. All the meals were delivered in a timely manner, superbly prepared and hot. No mean feat when the party is so large. Thank you to all the team at Frankie and Bennys Dudley. We will be back next year for sure"

"I've visited this restaurant several times, and each time has been consistently positive. The quality of the food is excellent, and the portion sizes are quite generous, especially the hotdogs. The ground floor access is great for those with disabilities, as there are no steps to navigate. While there can be occasional wait times, especially during peak hours, it’s to be expected. The prices are reasonable, though they do feel a bit high considering the time it sometimes takes to receive your order after placing it. The staff are always friendly and attentive, which adds to the overall experience. The kids love the food, and they even get little activities to keep them entertained while they wait. That said, I have experienced wait times ranging from 30 to 70 minutes for food—an eternity for a child in a warm, crowded restaurant. Parking is convenient, but it can be a bit tricky on weekends and during the evening since it’s shared with other businesses. Cleanliness has been an issue on a few occasions, but the staff are always willing to address any concerns when asked."

"I recently visited Frankie & Benny’s for the first time while searching for a place that offers both vegan and meat options. Dinner was excellent, and we both really enjoyed it. I had the vegan tortellini, which was delicious. However, I had to deduct a star for breakfast the following morning. We ordered both vegan and meat options, and the experience was quite disappointing for me. I received a piece of burnt toast, some unappetizing tofu, and avocado that had a bitter aftertaste, along with guacamole that I didn’t like. After having tried several vegan breakfasts over the weekend, this was by far my least favorite. I would definitely return to Frankie & Benny’s for dinner, but I’m hesitant about breakfast."

"It was what you expect from a F&B's. The staff were very courteous and the food was of good quality. I do think it's quite expensive for what it is but I did have a voucher for 25% off total bill that made it better value. We were placed near the door to the toilets and as such could smell a faint hint of them everytime some opened the door to use them."
