"This restaurant is delivering during lockdown and the vegan pizzas are amazing! They have a lot of options with vegan cheese , chicken and meatballs , or you can build your own vegan pizza. Fair price and very tasty, would definitely recommend! The dough is quite thin which I like and you can have it gluten-free for additional 2£."

"I hadn't been here for around 7 years but regularly went when I was younger and it was allways nice food and pleasant staff however this time we still had pleasant staff and the resturant inside is a nice place to sit and enjoy a meal but the food itself wasn't the best we had nachos wich where just very basic nothing special I would never put cheddar on nachos unless it was a mixed blend with mozzarella this was just cheddar not fully melted either but cheese and crisps is what it is not offensive probably the best part of the meal. I ordered a Greek kebab chicken pork Greek sausage with rice bread salad and chips. Food was piping hot but all the meat was soo so dry the rice was nice bread over toasted basiclly a crisp chips where good salad not so much far to much olive oil. Onion rings side where the best part of the meal for me. My partner has empire state burger he said it was really dry and pretty bland not enough sauce for a burger of that size. I didn't really enjoy my cocktail so moved on to a bottle of wine wich was awful kissing tree white zinfandel was really hard to drink even with the glass of lemonade i brought to add to it. Anyway we decided to try a dessert I got a truckers nut cream chocolate icecream I think its called wich I barley touched as the nuts where so bitter almost tasted burnt we ate as much as we could so that we didn't go home hungry but we won't return the menu really needs updating it's so old and outdated now and that might even be okay if it was cooked well but they need a new chef I felt like I was watching a Gordon Ramsey programme its just so outdated and needs a new chef however the staff was lovely and we did have a great laugh because the food was so bad we laughed out way through it so I still had a good night for wich I paid and left a tip but the one tip this place needs is new chef and updated menus and as lovely as all the staff are I hope they take that on board"

"We came here briefly on a Saturday evening. The girl at the door was lovely and my husband asked if they were dog and child friendly (she said they were) and we went in. The lady on the bar also was very welcoming. We however were met by a snooty girl at the bar who seemed confused as to why we were there but gave her the benefit of the doubt and sat down. I then asked the same girl if she had a highchair to which she replied “not up here no” and then seemed confused when we left. We had previously been told it was a child friendly place and therefore assumed a highchair as my 18 month old isn’t going to sit in a proper chair. She then asked an incredibly snooty, smarmy way “oh are you leaving” to which I explained the lack of highchair was the issue, and her respond was “it’s an adult place”. That’s absolutely fine, HAD WE NOT JUST BEEN TOLD IT WAS CHILD FRIENDLY BY SOMEONE ELSE. We ended up eating back at our Travelodge which was dog and child friendly and actually had a lovely meal. Not sure what her issue was with us or children but she seemed to have an issue with us that none of the other staff had at all. Shame as it seemed a nice place other than for her stinking poor attitude"

"Having eaten at this establish countless times before during my childhood, it seemed the perfect place to remedy the vestiges of alcohol in our system from the night before. Eagerly, my friends and I downloaded the Pizza Express app, a clever scheme by the restaurant to encourage students such as ourselves to visit the restaurant given the billion pound debt faced by the company. My friends both enjoyed a free dough ball dish for signing up whilst I refrained from ordering due to lack of appetite, saving my deals for another day. The food, as expected, was bog-standard, run-of-the-mill pizza express, food that we have all had before and will most likely have again. This was just about nice enough to justify the expenditure due to lack of proper competition in the area and the proximity of the restaurant. However, that being said, it was slightly sloppy, stodgy and lacking structure, typical to that of pizza express pizzas. No major complaints arose from the quality of the food as it was no different to that purchased usually from pizza express. However, our qualms with the experience arose from the mistreatment of our group by the staff. The attitude of staff was blunt in the settling of the bill, which had to be adjusted only once to include our offers on the app, necessitating the printing of a single extra receipt. This was met with frustration and disdain despite the fact that my friends had never used the app before and were unfamiliar with its operation. Given that my demographic, younger students who may not normally opt to eat there without the deals, is the target of these schemes, I was surprised by such shortness from the staff and at the different treatment given to young adults. That being said, the staff were, on the whole, very helpful. However, it is such a shame that only one waiter in particular ruined the experience over such a trivial issue. On the whole, the food was just about up to standard. However, we left with a bitter taste in our mouths and the desire to leave a review for the first time given that this behaviour was so out of order."

"We were in Bury for a few days visiting family and the weather was beautiful , we live on the Wirral and frequently visit Brasco lounge in Liverpool of the same chain , which we love. We actually visited Racconto lounge 3 times on our visit , first time we had a brunch of bacon and egg muffin , which we really enjoyed (although the bacon was very salty) The next day we came back and had a lounge breakfast , and the following day we brought my husbands mum , and drank cups of tea while resting from shopping . We enjoyed all the meals , and its lovely inside , although we ate on the terrace in the sunshine and we found all the staff very pleasant and friendly . But..... we had 2 things let it down for us . Firstly on each occasion , the service was extremely slow, when we had breakfast , it wasn't very busy , but we waited ages , although our tea was brought out well before the food , meaning we then had no drinks to go with the food . The second problem was , after waiting ages , we had to send the breakfast back as it was really cold , and it seemed like it had been sat waiting , almost as long as we had , the bacon on both the breakfast muffin and the breakfast was really , really salty also. None of this would put us off , as we enjoyed the dining experience overall , but if you are in a rush , i really wouldn't recommend eating here , as the wait was alot longer than expected every time ."

"Poké has become a popular food trend in London, and Tombo Fitzrovia is right on point with their menu offerings. Guests can choose from classic poké bowls or create their own customized dish, making for an interactive dining experience. I recommend trying the Classic Poké with Salmon or Tuna, as well as the Kaisen Poké with Salmon and Tuna. Vegans and meat-eaters alike will also find delicious options on the menu. I particularly enjoyed the fresh and flavorful tuna and salmon sashimi, as well as the Hello Kitty Poké bowl with salmon, black and white rice, and edible flowers. The dishes were well-prepared and satisfying. The restaurant also offers a variety of award-winning matcha teas, including the Hello Kitty Matcha Latte. The matcha desserts, such as Matcha Tarts and Cheesecakes, are also worth trying. Overall, Tombo offers a fantastic dining experience with high-quality food, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere. Whether you are a fan of matcha or new to poké, this restaurant is a great place to explore these unique flavors."

"Every time I walk on the carpet, it feels dirty. Perhaps it's time to install wooden flooring? Our table was also sticky. We were seated with other families with children, which I assume was to not disturb those without kids. I ordered the ribeye steak well done, but it came slightly red in the middle. For £22.00, I expected a higher quality piece of meat, but I could have bought a better steak from the supermarket and cooked it myself. It was definitely not worth the price. It seems like Harvester is cutting corners and making a large profit by serving the bare minimum with their meals."

"Meal Type: Lunch Price Range: £10–20 Food: ★★★☆☆ (3/5) Service: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) Atmosphere: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) Recommended Dish: Refill Soft Drinks Overall, my lunch experience was a bit underwhelming. The food was decent, but not exceptional, earning a middle-of-the-road rating. Unfortunately, the service was lacking, which detracted from the overall experience. The atmosphere was also rather uninspiring, making it feel less inviting. However, one highlight was the refillable soft drinks, which I would recommend trying."

"wonderful ice, was already here for a long time, but this was my first visit in a dae and my high expectations were certainly fulfilled (and then some). had bananenaroma (one of my favorites but unfortunately using in British icy purple couples), which as always hit the place, along with probably the freshest tasty version I had, and the xmas pudding was also delicious. they could definitely taste some alcohol, but it wasn't overwhelming what it could have been easy. the aromen were all perfectly balanced, yes! I love festive creatures and that was probably my new favorit, it was perfect. must remember to go back for a cartoon before the season is over!"

"I was thrilled to discover a gelato shop nearby, and after reading the website, I was even more excited. The website claimed that the gelato and sorbet were dairy and gluten-free, as well as low-fat, and that you would receive a free waffle cone. Unfortunately, I found out that the gelato was not dairy or gluten-free when I double-checked with the salesman. I was able to warn my friends who are intolerant before they got sick. To make matters worse, I was charged for a cone to go with my scoop of gelato, even though the price board stated that the cone was free. The salesman explained that the manager said the free cone was only for two scoops or more. The gelato was good, but neither I nor my friends will be returning due to the misleading information on the website and the unhelpful sales staff."

"We were at The Ned celebrating my sons 21st birthday. He wanted to go to the brunch buffet but unfortunately it was fully booked despite trying to make a reservation weeks in advance, so, we booked the American diner instead as my son really wanted to go The Ned so I thought this would be a good compromise. Underwhelming it was. A very limited unimaginative menu and very little atmosphere. At 2pm Sunday most of the tables were empty (all in the brunch I guess) . The food was very mediocre, no better than any other burger/rib restaurant I've been to, and despite me advising in advance we were there for a special occasion nobody made an effort to make my son feel special on his birthday other than the onligatory brownie with a candle brought to the table at the end of the meal... but brought to us while he wasn't even sitting there as he'd poppedto the bathroom!! Overall very disappointing and especially more so because despite it being quiet so really no excuses, nobody went out of their way to make our experience memorable in any way. Disappointing to say the least Ned."

"I had high hopes as I am a pizza lover, how wrong could I have been. Greeted by a rude member of staff, so not the best start. The cafe was busy, very busy, the tables are very crammed in together and so much so the back of my chair was being hit by every person and memeber of staff walking past....... While trying to order the member of staff seemed more concerned in talking to people walking through the door and other members of staff, a bit annoyed, we still ordered had we had high hopes of some of the best pizza in Devon..... How wrong we were. My pizza was how to put it..... pretty awful, I've had better supermarket own microwave pizza's...... the toppings didn't reach the edge which was VERY dry so that was left. I paid and left, why I paid I have no idea. Rude staff and below par pizza, just don't bother, you will be better off going to Pizza Hut."

"this place was packed, which was a good sign. the staff was very friendly and helpful. our table was unfortunately under a bright light and someone could not be on the head as she wanted the house to be lighter as they were up and down the whole time, which was annoying. the mozzarella sticks starter with minze and pfeffer were huge with a beautiful crab. the tomate and basil bruschetta is probably one of the worst I had. I like the fresh Italian classic, crispy grilled brot, cool sweet tomato and tangy basilikum. nick’s served piercing hot squidgy tomaten on a very soft and dry halfbap with no crispy texture at all and sprayed with balsamika whether they want it or not. "We went here on a deal night, which seems to be Sunday-Thursday. It seems a bit expensive otherwise. Deal is 2 courses for £16, 3 for £19 which is pretty good for what it is. Some of the meals also have £5 supplements which seem OK for what they are, but not great. For starter I had scallops and venison chorizo £5 supplement). Was pretty decent. The quality of ingredient is high. But it was pretty plain. For main I had ham, mash and kale. While all bits were brilliant, the meal missed a sauce to make it a complete meal. Again pretty plain. Pudding was great. Can't remember exactly what it was. But both puddings we had were great. I wouldn't massively recommend this place. But the food was nice enough. I wouldn't be happy paying full price though, deal was the only reason why it was worth going to. But even then I'm not sure I'd rush back again. Other places seem a lot better for the same price"

"I have a medium-sized beefburger with cheese and my wife had a chickenburger than take. she really enjoyed her. my burger was delicious. it has always amazed me how difficult/stored it is for restaurants to get the meat part of the burger right. it only has to be fresh, not mined in the hell and not solid like a brick. to reach a 10/10 of me, this would have had only the cheese, the wobbles, the burger and ketchup and tomaten. no gurke, that's it. I also hate the fact that many places seem like standard brioche bungalows to do. so unnecessary imo. the bell **** was perfect. really good job. will try out the Veggie options in the future."

"this is a beautiful restaurant, rather similar to a raised French brasserie. there is a sitting area outside. there is a separate vegetarian/vegan menu and I ordered from it. I loved eating that I had. it was easy, but delicious. for the starter I had a pea and nice suppe, then for a main course I had the baked miso aubergine. as dessert I ordered the mandel panna cotta. the service was good, although our waiter was sometimes somewhat abrupt. all the others were very friendly. this place changes their menu depending on the season, so hopefully they will also contain some new vegan options in the future. pricely, it was not too bad, but it is the kind of place where she would probably go for a contract."

"I usually enjoy dining at this restaurant, but this time was quite disappointing. We had a large group reservation for a work event, and we had all pre-ordered our meals. However, upon arriving, we had to wait 10 minutes to be seated, even though it was a busy Friday night at 7pm. It seemed like there were only about 3 staff members serving tables. It took another 25 minutes for our drinks to arrive after we had ordered them. My passionfruit martini did not even come with a shot of Prosecco as expected. Our food took an hour to arrive, despite pre-ordering, and other tables who arrived after us were served before us. When my drink arrived, it was spilled on the table and there was no napkin provided. The waitress almost dropped my pizza on my lap when serving it, and it lacked the NO'DUJA sauce that I had ordered. When I asked about it, I was only told that it was a vegan pizza, which I already knew from the sticker on the board. The service was slow and the quality of the food did not meet expectations. Additionally, a £21 tip was added to our bill without our consent, which we had to request to be removed. It was later revealed that we had overpaid, and the manager had to correct the mistake. Overall, while the staff were friendly and the food was tasty, the service and overall experience were disappointing, especially for larger groups. It seems that this is a recurring issue at this branch of Ask Italian."

"ousia in muswell visits hill for the first time. Positive aspekte: eating was delicious and made from fresh, ypriotic or Greek ingredients; the chef was really nice and came out to say hi; the young waiter and waiter in the training were wonderful. the man I think the owner's son was very friendly and sweet, especially for my mother, who appreciates these things when they get out. asspects that were not good: the manager who seemed sincere, worried that he served us. it's like he didn't want to be there and had a deeply rooted wut on people who ask him to be. as a result, he was excessively contradictory and repeatedly said no to everything he could not advise us about the amount of dishes to order because "he did not know how hungry we were," we did not ask him to order for us, only an average amount that most people order! he didn’t leave us a menu if we wanted to order more because “they were limited”, although there was only one other table in the restaurant and there was a stack of menus. he advised the young waiter before us and made a big show about “how to do it right”. when we ordered a dip and pitta, he brought a pitta brot cut into four pieces, we are zypriot! they know their publikum! a pitabrot is not enough. what a tiresome night through a man. less ego, more hospitality please."

"In Llandudno again for a little break so thought we'd try Romeo out, as we've tried most of the others. Booked in for 5.30pm and told 2 hours to dine which is reasonable. We were shown to a fantastic bay window table with a nice view of the streets, promptly given drinks food menu's by our very efficient server. Drink prices were about what we'd expect in most restaurants and were good, Peroni beer wine for us and San-Peligrino for the kids. Wine was good, not supermarket rubbish as found in most places. Our starters, Bread with olive oil, Balsamic vinegar and Antipasti misto were honestly brilliant! Mains were meat balls, Bistecca Al Gorgonzola, and 2 Margarita pizza's, all of which were very good and served nice and hot. You have a choice of veg potatoes or chips salad with the steak. I wanted chips and veg and had to pay for the veg as a side order. Most places I've dined at offer a choice of potato with either salad or veg. The only fault all night though so minor. Our daughters had pudding, Fudge cake and a massive ice-cream sundae with fresh berries again both very impressive. All in all a fantastic meal with excellent drinks and a brilliant service. I'd recommend booking as the place was full within a hour of us being seated! We will certainly head back when in Llandudno again."
"I called the restaurant on Mother's Day to make a reservation and was able to secure a table for 1:30pm due to a cancellation, which I appreciated. However, the overall experience upon arrival was disappointing. We were quickly asked for our drink order as soon as we sat down, but I requested a few extra minutes as we had children with us, which seemed to annoy the staff. The starters were good, but unfortunately, we had to send back my daughter's pasta dish as the bowl was very dirty. Additionally, the portion size for her pasta with tomato sauce, which cost £6, was unreasonably small. To make matters worse, the waitress cleared our table while I was still eating, without checking if we were finished. As I tried to explain that I wasn't done, she stacked my son's and partner's plates on top of mine, which was not appreciated. It gets even worse - my children were offered dessert with their meal, but my partner and I were not asked if we wanted any. The bill was brought over before my daughter's dessert could even arrive, despite being told we had the table for 2 hours when booking. The most unacceptable part came when we had left the restaurant and a waitress chased us outside, accusing us of not paying the bill in front of other customers. This was incredibly disrespectful and embarrassing. We had indeed paid the bill and even left a tip, which I regretted after that harassment. Overall, the service was awful but the food was decent."
