"Haven’t been for a while, had poor experience a good few years back (tiny portions extremely expensive) so I have only been since in the garden for drinks in the warmer months but went out with friends they suggested here. Staff were very polite, excellent service, I had the mussels, fries sourdough, was very very nice, drinks were good. My only criticism was when we booked the table it gave 1.5 hrs, now a catch up with friends, 2 or 3 courses is likely to be more than 1.5 hrs. I would have understood if it was fully booked but there were lots of free tables so not sure why it doesn’t allow longer, we stayed approx 2.5 hrs. Will return though now the food has vastly improved."

"we put an order yesterday for waffles and milkshakes. it wasn't worth paying the price at all. the waffles were cold, wound and stick to the pappe, we had to literally pull them off from the lower side of the pappe and that ended when we were ejected anyway. it tasted not good, could not even be cut with the knife, since it was too soft, almost stretchable when it tried to cut it. it was not pleasant and ultimately unusable. I have this problem about the app just by uber support to say that they are not able to reimburse at this time without explaining why. I raised the dispute again and delivered more pictures of the waffeln and they believed in my account with ignore my question for a full refund of the waffeln. I wouldn't have another command by eating out from there. very disappointed."

"I think it was a bit to do with timing as the cabbage and carrots were very dry. I did not select any cabbage. My wife said the Yorkshire pudding did no feel or taste right (I did not have one). This is unusual as normaly everything is very good. This would not stope from returning as I believe it was unfortunate timing."

"Our dining experience at this restaurant was not great. The place was cold when we arrived, and we had to wait a long time for our starters. My nachos were cold and the tortillas were all broken. We had to ask for our drinks as they had not been brought to us, and when they finally arrived, the server brought the wrong order. The main dishes were decent, but overall, it was not a pleasant dining experience."

"Some days ago, my mother and I dined at Zizzi’s to celebrate her recent career progression. We arrived without prior booking at 5:50pm on a Monday evening, at which point it was quiet and cavernous, with a choice of seating. We ordered the mozzarella garlic bread and fried calamari with aioli, drizzled with lemon for starters, to share. They both arrived promptly and were flavoursome without compromising quantity. Not only, was the mozzarella garlic bread simultaneously crisp yet fluffy, oily and salty, and heated to a pleasant degree. But also, the fried calamari was battered aptly, without sacrificing the quantity of the calamari. Soon after, we were met with our own generous dish of prawn linguini, topped with rocket. The linguini was twirled into a neat formation, with a mix of textures. While, the the tomato sauce was smooth and subtly rich, ample for the multiple hot linguini strips, the shaved courgette added a fine crunch, and the prawns constituted to a meaty density. However, within an hour, the restaurant was almost full, with the multitude of loudening conversations making it difficult to hear. Therefore, I would recommend eating early if you are someone who prefers a quieter experience. Also, although I was a student with a discount card, giving me access to 30% off on that particular instance. It is worthy to note that this is likely to be a somewhat costly evening, if you are someone who will order more than one course, or if you are a family, paying for multiple people."

"I ate here as part of my work Christmas meal. eating was good and there are many vegan options and variety. I had the Jackfruit pizzeria that was really nice. asked for extra toppings, but not getting, but that wasn't too big a problem. everything vegan comes with a special “vegan” sticker that is beautiful when it order a few of them (4) and makes them comfortable to the kitchen staff and waiter know what they do. even almost all their wee are vegan, which is fantastic. also a few options for dessert that were not all sorbet! it is nice to see a chain that strives to offer decent and interesting vegan options. I'd probably visit again."

"If you're looking for the best burgers and freshly made milkshakes in St Andrews, you have to try this place! The flavors are incredible, especially the strawberry cheesecake milkshake. Unfortunately, wheelchair accessibility is not possible, but they offer takeout service. This is a great spot for dinner, with prices ranging from £10-20 per person. "My friend and I were looking for vegetarian dim sum, and she found this gem of a place online. What a fantastic find. We had gyozo, mixed veg dim sum, I had a lovely Korean fried chicken dish, with rice, and peanut brownie dessert, which was more of an ice cream sundae. My friend had the vegan katsu, I tried a bit and it was awesome, she had the mochi dessert. All delicious service was excellent, staff were very friendly and attentive. This place has a really good vibe. Unfortunately, I can only give 5 stars , but would happily give more. You must try this lovely place."

"Booked for dinner with my partner and two friends and we had such a lovely evening. We were served by our waitress Ebony and waiter Dean. They were absolutely fantastic and worked so well together ensuring we did not have to wait for anything. They were very observant and asked if we needed another drink when ours were almost empty. There was not a large wait time on food and we felt that we had enough time between our starters and main to enjoy each other’s company. We had calamari , garlic bread and a fondues for starters. The garlic bread was incredible and the calamari and fonduta certainly did not disappoint. For mains my partner had the sticky pig pizza and we were surprised by the generous sizing of the pizza! The rest of us had pasta and my carbonara was the best I have had. We only got two desserts and shared them because the portions are huge! We had the honeycomb cheese cake and the chocolate brownie Sundae and both were to die for. The service and food were 10/10 . We honestly could not find anything to fault. A huge thankyou to everyone at Zizzi for a lovely evening. We cannot wait to return."

"It was moderate at best , we had the waiter spill the tea on the cakes and excused himself to bring new ones which were never bought back. The attention to detail is cared for rather than the quality of food itself, it felt stale some sandwiches. The highlight was only the view. The rest can be described as mediocre at best. Too much show but quality wise a dissapointment."

"we went on a Sunday for a fast meal as we were busy all day, so we could be one and out for a fast meal. it took some time until the meal arrived. both meals were not properly cooked. the waitress was new and fought (not a problem normally) and did not check whether our meal was in order, what I thought was one of the first things to be taught. we heard the kitchen had to fight. we had a problem to win the attention of everyone and had to wait until the end of the meal when we were willing to say something about the quality of the meal. the person responsible, due to the difficulties, drew a fee from the bill, but I would rather have had a good quality meal and experience. because of the delays we were too late for a date."

"I come here every so often and the staff even though different each time are very professional, always smiling, polite and welcoming. It's a refreshing change to some places where staff are stuck to their phones and not really up to speed with customer care. Thanks again, the food was good, and the tea just as I like it. "We spent one night at this hotel and dined at their restaurant. The bar was lively and parking was easy. We were promptly greeted and check-in was simple. This was the cheapest room we stayed in during our 18-day trip through England and Scotland. Our room was comfortable and even had a bathtub. There were plenty of outlets for charging our devices, and the radiator and towel heater worked well. Dinner was excellent, with attentive service from two young female servers. We enjoyed carrot coriander soup, sautéed mushrooms in creamy garlic sauce, lamb shank with herbed mash and green beans, beef lasagne, chips, and a fudge brownie sundae. Everything was delicious and we had a great visit."

"Visited here with my year old grandson. I had a savoury waffle and he had sweet. His was cookie dough ice cream sundae, pretty big and he loved it. Struggled to finish it though. I had Croque Madame and it was absolutely delicious. Cheese, ham and wonderful mustard on a waffle. All ingredients are excellent quality. The staff are friendly, helpful and relaxed. We both enjoyed our visit and plan to return soon."

"Been going here for a fairly long time going back a few years since it was at Silverburn and now situated at Braehead . Pretty disappointed upon our recent visit . Pasta bowls reduced in size drastically and had 3 bits of chicken in it (which we paid extra for) . The pizza was the same, ordered the posh pepperoni which used to come on a large oblong wooden board and is now served as a small round pizza and again with reduced toppings; for £16.50 for the pizza alone I found this very disappointing. Soft drinks expensive and overall it all felt lacking in the portion sizes quantity department . This is a shame as the food was still really tasty. I don’t think we will be back this time round and will likely try some of the other restaurants around that are doing similar deals food . I understand times are hard for everyone Prezzo including the smaller businesses but this will lose you valuable time served customers like myself who can hardly afford to feed myself and two kids as it is ."

"I had heard a lot about this restaurant being a great place to enjoy desserts with friends, so I decided to go with my friends to try it out. One of my friends ordered a chocolate sundae, while the rest of us ordered different flavors of cake slices. We all shared our desserts and loved every bite. The flavors were amazing and the taste was delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic place to hang out with friends."

"Got told about this ‘fine dining experience’ whilst staying at the hotel so had to give it a go. Took us 5 minutes to be acknowledged even when there were 4 staff at the bar talking to each other. Had to take my name and room number before we were allowed to be seated? Sat down and told someone would be with us to take our drinks order. 10 minutes the same guy arrives and takes our drink order. 5 minutes later returns saying the gas had gone so couldn’t have what I wanted. 10 minutes later drinks arrive and get told someone would take our food order. 15 minutes later the same guy checks back to see if we’ve ordered- we hadn’t- as we start to order two of the items not available. Decided that it probably wasn’t the best place to dine and paid for the drinks and left, no apology only a ‘try the pub they serve all night’. Went to the pub section of the hotel to find they’d stopped service! Service is insane no communication, constantly ignored and staff who haven’t got a clue what they’re doing! Thank god for justeat."

"Visited the TC in Brighton Rd, South Croydon ...the first visit was back on 3rd December and it was lovely..hot food, decent portions and the vegetable top ups with relishes, excellent. super waitress service..We left a tip!! However, the 2nd visit, yesterday 17th December was a disappointment..The food, not so good, small carved meat, the chef seemed really mean about meat portion sizes and quite happy to carve meat that was about 10x10cm radius left on the board!! We had to ask for more meat and so this experience was very different to the previous visit.. This chef wasn't very cheerful and I felt his manner was abrupt!! The potatoes were cooked well but warm to cold, fresh cooked veg was served hot and on point but to be honest, I'm not sure to visit again simply because the carved meat portions were too meagre. Also, why aren't TC allowed to give customers the wing of the bird if they want to eat it? Surely, adults are of an age to be trusted to eat food with bones??? Maybe include a proviso or have customer sign a disclaimer??? The waitress service was okay not as on point as the previous occasion but a pleasant lady.. TC needs to ensure its food is piping hot, and when needing to be replenished, at sufficient intervals to ensure no long queues and waiting time and then a chef who isn't mean with carved meat portions (especially when dinerss aren't allowed to go back for more!! and in the later part of the afternoon/evening service."
