Freshly rolled sushi with a perfect balance of vinegared rice and fresh fish, served with soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi.

"I note that this place once had an entirely separate vegan menu, however sadly this is no longer the case. It has about 3-4 vegan options on it's normal menu, just enough to give some sort of choice. If you're looking for somewhere to eat with omni friends or family then this is a fair enough option food wise. They have 1 vegan starter and 2 vegan desserts. Despite the limited choice what I did have was very tasty. Decor and setting wise it is very nice, located next to the river crouch. I note the review from a couple of days ago about the place having gone downhill, I visited on the 16th of August and it couldn't have been any further from that reviewers experience, I found it a well run place, looks like it may be hit and miss. Updated from previous review on 2020-08-31"

"We were visiting London from Hawaii and had heard of this restaurant from friends who had visited Caviar House Prunier in Piccadilly and highly suggested that we visit it.....soooo glad that we did! It was excellent!!! Not only was the meal terrific, but Sam and Mo, our servers/manager, took amazing care of us. They went as far as to make the Lobster club into a salad for me as I didn't care to have the bread with it...such a great luncheon experience! Thanks so much, and we will be sure to visit again on our next trip to London! Aloha, Michele Steve"

"The environment is friendly and welcoming, however the phone does go off which is a minor inconvenience at best. The decor makes you feel as if you are in a gastronomic trendy restaurant, as per the exposed brick, dark furniture and bright yellow bulbs. Additionally The real selling point is the sushi wheel inside. The menu is limited although this is more to the restaurant size however the refined menu does make way for excellent quality. Just be ready to pay sushi prices is all I'm going to say on that point I've had both sit down and dining and can recommend both. Although this is if you can get the staff's attention as when it is quite they huddle in the area by the coffee machine and talk to each other. Overall I would defiantly come again as it is a gem for the area, although is let down by staff who can be seen in the corner and the phone going off."

"Fantastic range of small dishes and meals for lunch and dinner. The menu ranges from scandi to oriental, so something for everyone. The menu is clearly marked with allergens, including what meals can be adapted. The chicken is halal and vegan and vegetarian options are plentiful. The cocktail and mocktail menu is great and they do one of the best espresso martinis in Shrewsbury. The decor is modern and comfortable and there is plenty of space. As a wheelchair user, I can get into the ground floor and to a table. The outside seats are up a small step, but the whole front of the building is a retractable wall of windows, so I can still get the feeling of eating outside in good weather. The service is friendly and knowledgeable about allergies, the menu and the wine list. The staff are helpful and unobtrusive. The only difficulty for me (hence the 4 star review) is that the accessible bathroom is next door, in their sister bar, Libertine. Unfortunately, libertine isn't open the same hours as HotRS, so I can only use it at certain times. The ladies does have a lock on the door, so staff have cleared the ladies toilets, which allowed me to take my chair in and lock the door. I had to walk a couple of steps to get into a stall but my chair was safely with me. Of course, there is also no alarm cord, but they stood outside the door so would have heard if I shouted for help."

"Discovering this Yo! Restaurant was a delight – the food is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Don't miss out on joining the Yo! Club for discounts and competitions if it's your first visit; just be ready to indulge in a plethora of delicious dishes! However, it's worth noting that the space is a bit snug. We brought a pushchair, and it felt like it occupied too much space, occasionally inconveniencing others. The same goes for using a high chair – a minor inconvenience in an otherwise enjoyable experience."

"Very nice place with a good atmosphere. They don't have a big menu, but what they have on the menu tastes great. Nice selection of cocktails, but also alcohol free mocktails. It can get a bit loud inside further back, so if you don't like that better stay at the front."
"We had a wonderful birthday lunch today. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was delicious! It was my husband's first time visiting, and he can't wait to go back! Thanks so much x"

"By far one of the best food halls in the country!!! If not the best in the country. A huge huge selection of all far east Asian restaurants including Japanese, Chinese, Malaysian, Vietnamese etc. Portions are massive! I did warn you! Prices are not that cheap but this is reflected in portion size. Fore example sweet and sour chicken is approx 12.9 but the taste is the real winner! The food does not taste like any other local takeaway. The concept is amazing and is my go to for Asian food!"

"I used to frequent the Queen Street branch of this restaurant a few years ago before the pandemic, visiting multiple times a week. The food was always fresh, tasty, and plentiful. However, after visiting twice in recent months, I am greatly disappointed. The teriyaki chicken now tastes more like boiled chicken with a sauce poured on top, and the portions of meat are small. I also ordered karaage on my second visit, but when asked about my rice and vegetable preferences, it wasn't followed through on. The portions were lackluster, and the sauce resembled a tasteless, clear glue. It felt like a throwback to old Asian takeaways with MSG from the 80s. It's a shame that the quality has declined so much, but despite this, people still seem willing to wait in line. I used to miss this place when I went to our suburban kokoru chain, but even that offers tastier and better value food than this restaurant."

"I never write reviews, but for ginza I just have to: I took my partner for her birthday and the moment when we arrived, it was a fantastic experience. Although the restaurant was very busy and we were not able to have the regular table that I originally booked, the staff gave us the choice, either on the Teppanyaki counter or the Robata, which I thought was a lot to sit on the standard. the food and the drinks were from this world. we ordered some starters and sushi from the a la carte menu to start and then we ordered some items from the teppanyaki and robata menu. also the chef on the Teppanyaki counter this evening (27/11/21) was extremely friendly and attentive. he was very tight and we have the feeling that he had extra time and effort in our dishes. he even personally brought the dishes on our table and was extremely informative in the description of the dishes. finally our server, richard, would not have been a better host. he was attentive, friendly and remembered all the complicated details. he combined each individual asspect of the service and transformed an already fabulous meal into an unforgettable culinary experience. he engaged in charming talk and made sure that we felt like we were the only customers there. I will definitely come back and spread the word to my friends."

"Consistently shocking service. I feel like the person who works there has a future as a doctor's surgery receptionist, they do as much as possible to prevent you ordering. They try and get you to use a machine to order, which often doesn't work, and if you mention it you get scowled at. They seem unaware of how to fix it. They are extremely rude when you arrive and if you're lucky enough to get their attention they treat you as an inconvenience, manners don't exist. They are obviously focused on Deliveroo rather than walk ins for lunch. Sadly it's nice enough sushi (albeit a very confusing menu that makes no sense on the ordering machine) but the service is rude and confusing. This has happened on too many occasions now and I won't be returning."

"We had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant. We were able to watch the chef prepare sushi right behind us. The prices were very reasonable and we appreciated the fact that they showcase art on the walls that is available for purchase from local artists. We highly recommend supporting this local business instead of the chain restaurants on the main street. This place is fantastic!"

"I stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to stop in for a drink, but ended up trying some delicious healthy food as well. I ordered the Tofu Tastic Poke Bowl and it was fantastic. The manager was incredibly friendly and I definitely plan on returning. Plus, it's an independent restaurant, so be sure to show your support."

"Zuma in London is a standout when it comes to Japanese cuisine, particularly their sushi offerings. Despite London not being widely recognized for its Japanese food, Zuma shatters that perception with their exceptional dishes."

"Open every day for lunch and dinner, this hard working Japanese restaurant deserves every ounce of the success it has. The food here is delicious, colourful, and relatively nutritious, while the setting is fairly simple, clean and informal with long tables and benches often shared with neighbouring groups. On the menu there's a choice of authentic Bento Boxes, Ramen, Yakisoba udon, Sashimi, Rice Gohan and various salads and side dishes pretty much everything you'd expect from a Japanese restaurant in the UK. With Bento Boxes from about £10 upwards, and Ramen from about £7, it's very reasonably priced as Japanese restaurants go. The only thing they don't do well is desserts but that's a common theme across all Japanese restaurants I've been to in the UK with Tenkaichi offering just one choice: a Japanese red bean pancake roll served with a plum sauce. It has firmly established itself as one of Cardiff's best and most reasonably priced Japanese restaurants, and as a result is hugely popular at lunchtimes as well as in the evenings so you may have to wait a short while for a seat at times. They also have a separate (but similar) takeaway menu."

"This restaurant is amazing! I always love the katsu curry every time I go there. The food is delicious with great taste and fresh sushi. I highly recommend this place for those looking to eat locally. They even provide flavor boosters for those who like their food spicy."

"Itsu provides simple, yet delicious sushi and other Asian quick foods. It's friendly staff will help with any inquiries you have, and the restaurant is clean and well styled. Seating could feel uncomfortable on the stools for larger backsides, but all in all, a pleasant dining out takeaway experience. Well located for easy access and shopping eat betweens. Recommend the dragon rolls"

"This is the third time visiting a different Kokoro. It is the first time where they wouldn't customise options even though we were the only ones in there. Disappointing as all the other Kokoros had before and we could see someone making up the sushi so it isn't like anyone wasn't available. This happened the second time visiting this Kokoro yesterday, the first time we went at lunch time and ordered a Pumpkin Katsu Curry and a Chicken Katsu Curry, we were very surprised at how much Pumpkin and Chicken we got as other places like Yo Sushi for example only give you a small amount. The down side was that I felt like the curry had a bit of a strange after taste, I have tried a lot of katsu Currys and none of them had this weird taste. A lot of options and it was clean which is why I am giving it 3 stars."

"The takeaway sushi was quite good - the sashimi tasted fresh! The order included 4 small maki rolls, 4 large pieces of salmon and tuna nigiri, and 4 pieces of sashimi."
