"Very good evening meal with friends. Having been several times to steak houses in Buenos Aires, I can say Patagônia feels quite authentic to me. I ordered a steak rare and I would warn you that they really do make the steak rare. I like it that way but if you don't want an almost cold centre, order your steak closer to medium. I've eaten here several times and will continue to return."

"We had a wonderful afternoon tea the food was lovely the room and decor was beautiful however although the service was ok we were left alone for long periods of time , we had to ask for additional cups and hot water for the teas we were never asked if everything was ok and if we needed anything the only attention we had was making sure the 2 additional coffees were paid for! We had to ask for take home boxes. And for the box for the cake that was gifted to my Mum overall it was below average sorry"

"We took a run up to piecebox, on the recommendation of a friend, for Sunday lunch. Wanting to escape the usual pub roast bravdo we were hoping for something that at least felt a little healthier. The place totally delivers.. The miss matched upholstered chairs, chandaliers and disco ball are a bit hipster (but I love that). "My twin brother and I took a few days off work were we jumped the train down from Kirkby to Liverpool City Centre to visit some of the great pubs and bars our city is justifiably famous for, at the top of our list of bars and pubs to visit was Brewdog, been here many times over the years, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. This is a great looking Brewdog bar,a great looking serving bar dominates the main room, wonderful decor and furnishings, neon lite features and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto onto the busy and bustling Colquitt Street. We had a study of their great beer range and in the end we both opted to have Brewdog king kölsch , these were served in excellent condition, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular bar while we sipped our ale 's. A big fan of this beer style, in fact on the run up to the Christmas period my twin brother and I were in Cologne for a weeks holiday which is a vibrant city on the River Rhine that we 've been visiting for close to 30 years ,this city is the home of kölsch beer brewed by so many breweries, breweries such as Pfaffgen Brauerei, Gaffel Brauerei, Dom Brauerei, Deutz Brauerei, Reissdorf Brauerei, Sion Brauerei, Sünner Brauerei, Schreckenskammer Brauerei, Muhlen Brauerei and of course Früh Brauerei who I noticed are named on the beer label ,my kölsch beer served here in Brewdog were amazing, it 's more an ale than a lager ,it 's golden, hoppy ,very light and very easy to drink ,when this kölsch is served freezing cold as in Brewdog its just an amazing brew to enjoy,its no coincidence that this bar is so popular with beers served in this good a condition by staff who are really knowledgeable about the beers they serve. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Brewdog we had a great time. Brewdog is easy to locate along Colquitt Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from midday. A wonderful craft beer bar serving an amazing range of great beers,well worth checking out if you 're in the area."

"Booked a fabulous lunch here on a Monday afternoon and had the pleasure to enjoy the menu at one of their quieter times. The steak is cooked to perfection and there is a wide range to choose from as well as assorted delicious sides. I would love to return to try all the other dishes that sounded just as tasty. Don’t pass the bread and butter starter. The bread rolls are freshly baked and served with the most heavenly whipped butter with sea salt and served on a gorgeous pink Himalayan salt slab. I also could not say no on dessert and that was a highlight! Snickers cheesecake with artichoke ice cream. One of the best things about M, besides the decadent upbeat and friendly vibe is that it’s dog friendly. On Saturdays they do a 6 legged menu for you and your dog. "valentine eating. the tables were a bit close together, so not the most romantic environment. but it's a small place, so not much space I guess. a very warm welcome to the staff and a free glass prosecco and hibiscus that was a nice note. Eat was top notch....generated portions also that make a change for a gastro type burst. we had a mix of items from the special menu, vegan and gluten-free and it was all great. the personal was attentive without being intrusive. first visit here, but not the last. that enjoyed it very much."

"Visited this place twice now. The first time I tried to order dish number and they didn't have it available.. tried ordering a second meal.. didn't have it. Ended up ordering chicken pesto sandwich.. was decent, super greasy though. They Also had a hole in the floor in the toilet which was covered over by lino.. second visit months later.(today) ordered a sandwich with scrambled egg,Bacon,ham, sausage and cheeses.. when the food arrived it basically looked like a McDonald's style egg with either bacon or ham in(not convinced it had both in) either way it didn't have sausage inside. And looked to me like a very thin layer of one type of cheese. I showed it to the lady behind the counter, she apologized and said that there was no sausage left and the chef didn't tell her.. got my money back but wasted half am hour in this place.. the hole in the toilet Floor upon inspection is about two foot by foot covered up by lino.. this has gotten more unstable from months ago. Basically damp plywood and I don't think it's from water. It was disgusting serious health and safety concerns here they should be inspected..."

"This little gem is located on a quiet street just a stone's throw from The Meadows, a short walk from the main accommodation and teaching facilities of the University of Edinburgh, and only a 15-20 minute walk from the castle and the Royal Mile, and it's worth the wander. While its appearance from the outside is unassuming, the welcome inside is far from that, and the food is wonderful. We enjoyed a selection of delicious starters and Thai soups, followed by tasty curries, noodles, and rice, all in generous portions and served with the widest of smiles. The prices are very good, ideal for a family meal or visiting a family member studying at the university (like us). In terms of cost, the restaurant has the additional advantage of allowing you to bring your own alcohol: Gary, the owner (who runs the operation along with his partner and his excellent and friendly team) no longer sells alcohol on the premises, preferring to encourage customers to drink their own beverage (with no corkage fees), which, if needed, can be purchased at a store directly across the street from the restaurant. So, for a wonderful meal at a modest cost, Thai Laos has a plethora of options. We loved it, and will definitely be back."

"cocktails were great. the starters were amazing. mac n cheeze was somewhat disappointing, but the garlic cale and mushroom ribs were delicious. roti was also good, but the cursed cherry brooms were for my taste buds something to bland (good for people who don't like spicy spits) beautiful restaurant- beautiful nature inspired decor in a clean and relaxing environment. friendly, helpful staff. update 2. march 2022 again a second visit with the same friend whose not vegan. I think I liked to eat this time better. my only criticism is that it is something overpriced for what it is. I had the aubergine zaalock for starter and the power bowl as my head. both very good. aubergine was served with flatbread and it is quite a small part, but very tasty. my friend chose the garnel salad with a side sweet potato fry and biscoff apple cake and ice for dessert. She said that the dessert is the best part of the meal. "I think I've been spoiled by some of the piri piri places I've visited, so Sabeez seemed average by comparison. Not to say it was bad. You get a decent enough takeaway here; and back in my nearby hotel room I ate most of it....My order was for a double decker combo burger, cheesy chips, and salad. Of those, the Greek salad was the best part, featuring cherry tomatoes and little bits of feta cheese. The combo burger contains a beef patty and a chicken patty made of reconstituted chicken rather than the chicken breast they serve in the best places. I enjoyed the beef part more. By the time I got back to my room, the cheesy chips had formed a solid slab, glued together by a flavourless cheese. But I'm an old hand at greasy Saturday-night takeaway fare, so I hacked away at them philosophically. The premises once had some imagination put into them, with bright sixties colouring and a mural of Plymouth life and history. But it all needed renovating long ago, and now everything looked worn or damaged, giving a grubby impression. The COVID precautions were a bit half hearted. Two guys wore no mask; one had a mask round his neck; and a female chef wore one just covering her mouth not nose. A screen to separate walk-up trade from the delivery collectors was standing on top of a distancing marker. Unlike other piri piri places, there was no sauce-bottle counter out front. That might've been for COVID-hygiene reasons. But it meant sauce was added by the server, and he splattered too much on for my liking. Overall, I found this place a bit disappointing but not terrible."

"Read the reviews about this place and immediately had an opinion about what I was to expect. Generally most things were spot on. Price: the price was what you would expect reasonable. Two people can eat for less that £30 Shisha was £10 for standard shisha or £15 for premium. Generally not disappointed. Service: The staff were very friendly and were accommodating to our needs bringing food downstaird while we had shisha. we were a very happy bunch and they eventually caught up with our banter. Food: This is the great thing about this place the food rocks. we were hungry and the food hit the spot. Thingling every one of out taste buds. They were out of steak but it wasnt the end of the world. I loved the atmosphere and the ambience. They dont serve alcohol but you dont need alcohol to have a good time just good people. Will definitely revisit when next look for a place to eat. Well done The Grill Garden for ticking all the boxes for a great restaurant. 5"

"ate here with my better half on a Saturday night recently a rare night for us, and suesey street hasn't disappointed at all! we had a really nice evening from the moment when we received a warm welcome at the door when we finished our delicious cocktails in the beautiful bar at the end of our night. in between we were treated with a delicious food and excellent service. I had to start the scallops, and it was really amazing I would go so far to say it is the best (and well dimensioned) scallop star I had in a long time. the nativity for the main was top-notch. my wife was happy to see some vegetarian options on the menu and she was equally happy with what she had. we were too full for dessert, but we had a cocktail that they were so good that we ended our night in the bar area and had another! there is a beautiful atmosphere in the suesey street and it is very comfortable. we are coming back in definitiw!"

"Decided to go to Christophers for the brunch we had heard that the chocolate brioche French toast was worth trying. It was yummy ! I wasn't able to finish mine but I think most people would be able to. We had coffee and tea also. We did contemplate ordering the pancakes but we were too full! It wasn't too busy at all, considering it was half term.... it was a Wednesday though so perhaps that's why. We did call ahead as we were running 5 minutes late, the staff were understanding. The service was quick and the vibe inside was quite chilled. I do think they should have a better drinks menu and offer more savoury vegetarian options for breakfast as they only had avocado on toast. Another couple left in a huff as they wanted pancakes and they were only available on the weekend menu. Maybe this is something that could be adjusted? Other than that a good experience, I would visit again!"

"I thought this place was vegan, but it's not. happy cow has now updated. it sells dishes with eggs and salmon, but they still call themselves plant-based (their varieties). also, I ate and my smoothie was served in a plastic cup that is not only bad for the environment, but also not really inappropriate: they would not give my food in plastic plates or give me plastic cuts, so why the plastic cup? the service is also not good; when they realized that I was vegan, their way changed and wise. eating itself was best moderate and quite expensive for what it was. the smoothie was more like the stuffed juice than a normal smoothie. updated by previous review on 2021-12-03"
