Great food and service shame it was very quiet as a great deal for Bank Holiday.

beautiful afternoon tea for my birthday. the staff was very friendly and went out of the way to help when the children requested different sandwiches and cakes. they arranged without asking us that the Christmas man visited my big daughter and I was very worthy. first class service.

I had booked this restaurant as a surprise for my daughter-in-law's 30th birthday. However, when we arrived, they were not expecting us and could not provide all the food promised. I planned a surprise 30th birthday celebration for my daughter-in-law at this restaurant. However, when we arrived, it seemed like they were not prepared for us as they were unable to serve all the dishes we had ordered. They tried their best to accommodate us, but it was clear that they did not use the OpenTable app to check for bookings. Overall, I was disappointed and felt embarrassed by the outcome.

Didn’t even make it to the table despite making a booking There was no suitable tables unless we wanted a table in a cold empty “around the corner out the way” part of the restaurant with no ambiance as we were already cold , it was a very cold afternoon, we asked if we could sit elsewhere. Bar person said no clean tables available so we left ! Very disappointing experience for our first visit. Won’t be returning again

Dined in the bar on a Thursday evening where 2 for 1 pizzas and cocktails were being served. What a fabulous offer this is! The pizzas are fantastic and fresh and the cocktails are 'proper ' cocktails, not a pre-made syrup from a bottle! We went for a quiet wedding anniversary treat and will definitely be returning with the family. Lovely setting, friendly staff and great quality food and drink. What more could you ask for! We returned to the West Sea to celebrate our one-year anniversary, and it was wonderful to be back at our favorite resort. The staff was friendly, polite, and courteous. I had mentioned in our online booking that it was our anniversary, and it was lovely to see that the team had taken note of it. Our waitress congratulated us on our special day, which was a lovely touch. The food was served in a timely manner and was absolutely delicious. The staff also surprised us with a special anniversary dessert, which was a delightful surprise. Thank you for making our first anniversary so memorable!

Menu was so promising, but the service really let down the whole evening. We are in the bar, which had a nice atmosphere. We were only a table of 4, but 2 of the starters came out wrong (had to be sent back). Lack of attention to detail. Even things like glasses etc being cleared from the table wasn’t happening , so we had to do it ourselves. Disappointing and the staff didn’t seem particularly happy, didn’t see any of them smile. Mains came out in good time, but portions were quite small. Everything tasted nice, including the starters when they were re-done but I can’t see past the service, so won’t be returning, sorry.

I made a reservation for 7:15 PM on Saturday, but when we arrived, the staff, who were very courteous and apologetic, informed us that there was a party of 200 next door, and all of their kitchen staff were tied up with that event. They told us that it would take at least 40 minutes to get our food, regardless of what we ordered. When we inquired if it might take longer, she mentioned that the same situation occurred the night before, and she suspected it would take much longer this time as well.
