"Not a very nice place all in all, waiting area could do with a good clean. We ordered a meal which consisted of 1 chicken curry (no rice), which was like dishwater, tasteless and bland but plenty of squared diced chicken in, 1 bag undercooked soggy chips yuk, 1 special chow Mein, all noodles very little meat but was ok! , and 6 spare ribs dry yuk yuk yuk. they were full of grease, they were deep fried probably same chip fat cause that’s all you could taste, over cooked and just dripping with oil, managed to try it but threw it away but that’s £32 .25 that little lot cost us, . I rang to complain, owner Very was very abrupt! Didn’t listen, had to keep telling her to listen, and rude, eventually she said I will give you credit next time you come in. Say your name, . Put the phone down. After thought we decided we were NEVER going to eat there again due to the rudeness of the owner and the food so next day we took the ribs back when they opened at 5pm, Well what can I say the owner again ver short and abrupt asking what do you want, trying to be very over powering, the chef kept popping his head out of the door, hubby asked for a refund !! Well omg iWe Even took pictures to show her the mess in a bag and oil on my hands, she didn’t want to know, justhow many ribs in bag, hubby said 4 left we threw the other 2 away ! She would only refund for the 4, and only gave us £11 back from working it out in the menu should have been £12.40 they were £3.10 each Then she said she has given them to us cheaper cause we had 6 We will never be returning here again would rather cook my own Chinese,"

"Booked a table for 4 at the Lee garden Chinese restaurant in Lichfield , it was my partner 40th Birthday, The restaurant got us in on the day which was nice. so it was supposed to be something special, for a special occasion. Got into the restaurant and the waitress came over and gave us some prawn crackers, then took our order for drinks so far so good. The drinks came over, then the waiter took our food order. We ordered Two hot and sour soups, sweet and sour Cantonese chicken, Noodles, Sizzling lamb Cantonese style, special curry, Vegetable curry, egg fried rice x 2, chips and spring roles. The food took over a hour to come out which wasn’t great. when it arrived the hot and sour soups were Luke warm and looked like they had been in and out of a microwave. The lamb Cantonese style tasted like cheap meat it wasn’t lamb, my mate said he wasn’t sure what it was, It was dreadful. Both rice dishes were Luke warm and the noodles were cold. To cut a long story short apart from the chips which were Fantastic, the rest of the food was a microwave job.. Plus the special curry hardly had any meat in it!! For £13 plus a main meal I find this an absolute disgrace!! They took the rices, noodles and soups off the bill, which still came to nearly £80… It was a rip off, we paid £80 for food heated up in a microwave.. Please avoid, I felt sick after this meal and I shall personally not ever return to this place. Michael Wan's Mandarin in Blackpool Is a premier league Chinese, the food fabulous! This establishment however is far from that ,it’s utter garbage.. The staff were nice People, It’s not their fault , but the food like I said was a 0/10!"

"me and my friends visited real China in hull for a meal out and was immediately drawn in by the wide range of menu choice displayed outside the restaurant however inside the buffet was nothing like described on the menu, there was hardly any choice compared to what the menu said, likewise with the deserts only to see inside there was ONE Deseret available that appeared crushed and very unappetising. We each gave the food a try and was disgusted by the quality of the food we ate!! The chicken was puffed up with water and tasted like pure liquid, the duck pancakes was Almost like sawdust as was the pork and the sides of chips and onion rings we ate to go with it were soggy and ice cold!! After been cleared away with almost a full plate we complained before paying and was completely ignored! The women at the till was ridiculously rude and said “no one ever complains” “our food is fresh” (which is most certainly wasn’t) and didn’t care in the slightest to how poor out experience had been, me and my friends were shocked in the rude manner we had been spoke in after only mentioning how disappointed we were! I defiantly don’t recommend visiting real China as even after our complaints we revived no apologies and was forced to pay full price for the food we hadn't even touched. Absolutely disgraced and will NOT be returning “real” China again!!!!"

"Sinley have a good menu selection to fit all dietary needs so this would be my go to Chinese (if I could even order it). But I'm really not sure how they got Chinese of the year when they stop the phone lines every weekend because they can't handle a few orders. It's just impossible to order Chinese every weekend whilst chuck wagon a properly ran business is next yous qued out never turning away orders, shameful really. Then when you order in person and its wrong you can't even phone up because they don't answer. Wouldn't recommend this Chinese to anyone until this issue is sorted. I lived in Belfast for years and no Chinese food places do this to their customers, it's very cringey."

"Opened only recently, Taste of China is an authentic Sichuan restaurant, whose head chef is Sichuanese himself. Their 20% discount on launch now sadly no longer available) compelled me to try their hot pot special £23.90 per person for an unlimited number of dishes for 2 hours). Overall, the experience was wholly positive. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, recommending the most fresh dishes for the hotpot itself. As many other hot pot goers may know, fresh produce is of great importance. To begin with, the broth was excellent. The non spicy broth was incredibly well made incredibly fragrant and had a natural but flavourful taste. The spicy broth was to a strong degree of spice but not overpowering. The dishes themselves were good also: the lamb and beef was very up to standard as you'd expect. The fish, for me, was by far the highlight and a must get. The cabbage was fresh. The mushrooms were equally well soured. However, it must be said that I did not enjoy the tofu as much and the pork was rather average also. There is also a wide array of sauces and dips to experiment with although, personally, I tend to stick with a sesame or peanut sauce to complement. Generally, this was a brilliant start for the restaurant. I thoroughly recommend others to go and I'll be back to try their other dishes also."

"We were staying near Blackpool for a week and was recommended to go here for a takeaway, on our first night ordered over the phone, said ready in 15mins was just lacking it when we arrived, food was really nice, free chicken wings, prawn crackers and mini spring rolls All the food was hot and had plenty of meat in, kids loved the salt and pepper chips (we don’t get these at our home Chinese) noodles tasty, very impressed, so much so that we had another Chinese before we left on our last night, if I was in the area again would definitely return, gentleman who served us was very pleasant too We are very critical of Chinese takeaways when we are away as we are used to having such a fantastic one on our doorstep, this one did not disappoint"

The one thing this time we are not so keep on is they put our platter in a orange polystyrene box, the food was lovely but the box had started to melt by the time we got it home which put me off. "I hadn't been to this restaurant in years, but while passing by on my way home, I caught a whiff of something delicious through my car window. I decided to try the special fried rice, curry, and prawn toast last night as a little treat. This has now become my number one choice for takeout food. The prawn toast was thicker than what I have had at other places and was freshly cooked. It paired really well with the sweet dip. The special fried rice was delicious on its own, but even better with the curry sauce. The portions were huge and came in a microwavable and recyclable container. I just finished the leftovers after heating them up...I am a very satisfied customer."

"We 've just moved to the town. You and Me was closed tonight, so thought id try china chef. I so regret it. We had 2 types of chow mein, a rice dice and 2 types of chicken sweet and sour dishes. None of them tasted like they should and we threw the most of it in the bin. If we are not ill tomorrow i will be surprised. I am even more surprised that there was a queue when i walked in (usually a good sign on a sunday night). The 'chef ' who took my order was wearing a filthy apron, the place looks very tired and quite dirty and the manner of the service was quite rude. All a sign that there is little passion and a lack of pride in what they do. But my biggest compliant is that the food was simply disgusting and the worst takeaway i have ever eaten. AVOID"

"Made an order to new lantern in Maidstone through Deliveroo, after thinking about trying somewhere new to our usual to try something different what a mistake! First the Diet Pepsi 1.5L bottle I ordered wasn’t even delivered…I put a note on Deliveroo to please leave the onions out of the duck chow mein and it arrived with HEAPS of onions…lastly, the duck chow mein didn’t even have duck in it, it was beef chunks!! I called up to ask about the missing Diet Pepsi and was told they had none so they just left it out the order and didn’t deliver it at all and when I said about the note I put about the onions, the lady told me that they didn’t get it their side…end of convo, not even an offer to change it, considering it wasn’t my fault if Deliveroo didn’t pass it through. One positive is that the lady did offer to drop off the drink and asked if I’d like a different choice, but it would have been nice to actually have the right food order in the first place. The food was mediocre and disappointing that the meat wasn’t even right. I think we’ll be sticking to Chopsticks going forward."

I placed an order for takeout after work, and once again encountered a woman on the phone who was extremely rude and unhelpful.
