"I had a mixed experience at Latino this week, as I visited twice. The food was excellent on both occasions, but the service and atmosphere varied. During my first visit, the service was just right - not too slow, not too fast. The restaurant was not very busy, and Astrid, the server, was lovely. We conversed in English and Italian, she asked all the right questions, and was very welcoming. I left a positive review on the feedback card. However, on my second visit, despite my previous good review, the service was cold and efficient. I had made a reservation for 7:30pm, arrived at 7:20pm, and had my food on the table by 7:30pm. I had ordered a wine to start and one for my meal, but they both arrived at the same time. It seemed like they were in a rush to serve me. Astrid was still pleasant, but the two gentlemen who served me seemed more focused on getting me to pay and leave. I mentioned this difference on the feedback card, but received no response. The reason for my average feedback score is due to the inconsistency in service between the two visits. In conclusion, the food was fantastic, prices were fair, and overall it was a pleasant place to dine. Kerr WELLS."
