"I had a mixed experience at Latino this week, as I visited twice. The food was excellent on both occasions, but the service and atmosphere varied. During my first visit, the service was just right - not too slow, not too fast. The restaurant was not very busy, and Astrid, the server, was lovely. We conversed in English and Italian, she asked all the right questions, and was very welcoming. I left a positive review on the feedback card. However, on my second visit, despite my previous good review, the service was cold and efficient. I had made a reservation for 7:30pm, arrived at 7:20pm, and had my food on the table by 7:30pm. I had ordered a wine to start and one for my meal, but they both arrived at the same time. It seemed like they were in a rush to serve me. Astrid was still pleasant, but the two gentlemen who served me seemed more focused on getting me to pay and leave. I mentioned this difference on the feedback card, but received no response. The reason for my average feedback score is due to the inconsistency in service between the two visits. In conclusion, the food was fantastic, prices were fair, and overall it was a pleasant place to dine. Kerr WELLS."

The sea bass and shrimp dish at this restaurant was excellent. The homemade tiramisu was also delicious, albeit a bit dry. We enjoyed a late Sunday lunch after the theatre and the restaurant was not too busy. The food was served quickly and with a friendly smile.

I went there for dinner with my friends and the whole experience was amazing, the food was great, really felt like I was back in Italy, the steak was one of the best I’ve ever had!! We've been coming here since 2010, and the food has always been amazing. We hadn't been in for a while, but not only was the food as tasty as ever but its presentation has gone up a notch, and the restaurant itself has had a bit of a refresh too. I had the two specials of the day for starters and main, which were both delicious, and a refreshing limencello tartufo for dessert. But everything we've tried over the years has been good.

We chose to eat lunch here when we walked straight in and out again of the pub we had actually booked. What a huge stroke of luck, it was absolutely superb. We explained that we had theatre tickets and so the service was fast and efficient, and the food was first class! Genuine Italian cooking. Great Pizza and pasta! It was reasonably priced too. The server wasn’t the most amazingly friendly but was very efficient and its NOT a criticism of them. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely be choosing it again when we visit Woking Theatre!
