"Heard so many good reviews about Quays gastro bar in portrush so called in on a Friday around 7.00pm. It was quite busy with holiday families however we had a short wait in the beer garden which was very pleasant and had a beer during our wait for restaurant. The restaurant itself was in contrast to the beer garden was very dark in fact the walls were painted black and ambiance not great for a dining experience (we would have been happy sitting in the enclosed section of the beer garden) The meal itself was fair to poor, my rump steak texture was not like it should be I had the feeling it was put through some sort of tenderising process and not great like a good steak freshly cooked should be, garlic fries were just ok. My wife chicken strips coated in breadcrumbs the coating so salty she could not eat them, I am more salt tolerant but they were so salty I could not eat them either. We are not people who complain and the staff were very pleasant and I did leave a tip. So Quays I have to say huge disappointment and will not return."

"Ordered double stack on my burger but didn't come with that and was taken off the bill as wasn't going to wait for a other one to be cooked. We had a side of onion rings and one of them had unmixed dry flour inside of it which put us off eaten the rest so sent them back and they was removed from the bill but wasn't really given or offered anything for the inconvenience I appreciate mishaps happen but just left a negative on the Zak's meal which we use quite often."

"Dine at Zack’s fairly often so know what to expect. Christmas time so bit busier didn’t seem a problem and staff were bubbly and friendly. There was a mix up with our orders though and two of five of us ended up with wrong type of potatoes. One got replacement pots on the house, I made do with the wedges that I hadn’t ordered. Otherwise fine until the end when the waitress (not the same one who’s served earlier) clearly wanted to get us out so she could go home!"

"My partner thoroughly enjoyed her meal, consisting of a bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries, and now considers it her favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, my experience with the truffle mushroom burger and smash fries was a bit different. While I did enjoy the fries, the burger caused some serious digestive issues. I'm not sure if it was the burger or the fries, but the aftermath was incredibly intense. It felt like I had ingested a powerful laxative. I have never experienced such a violent reaction in my lower half before. It was a messy and unpleasant experience, reminiscent of both Niagara Falls and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory combined. On the bright side, if I ever find myself constipated, I now know what to order. It took me two days to fully recover from the havoc that meal wreaked on my digestive system."

"Hands down the best burgers in Cheltenham. The people that build these burgers are artists. Always fresh ingredients. Cooked to perfection. Built with care and attention. Even if delivery is sometimes late. It’s worth the wait. Crispy fries (Piri Piri . Shake that’s still thick and cold like it’s just been freshly made minutes ago (Reece’s pieces shake is amazing btw . The most mouthwatering burger so full of flavour (Mexican is my choice, extra nachos! . Can’t give this place high enough praise. Excellent every time. Can’t recommend Smokin Burgers and Shakes enough. Keep up the good work!"

"Great little diner, my food was great, my husband said his burger could have done with more seasoning but other than that great, prices are okay only thing is it seems a little rundown and the floor looked quite dirty (not sure if this was just the aesthetic or just not clean), i was also a little dissapointed as when i checked online before i came (i always check menues as i have food intolerances) and had previously chose what i would have and when i arrived they informed me that this menj was only available at certain times so what i origionally wanted wasnt available, I would reccomend the breakfast I ordered though which came with the tater tots,"

"Mmmmmmmm. We went here for my birthday a few years ago and it was delicious. Came back today and it was amazing as well, just soo tasty. The meat was juicy, and the pulled pork was tender and again soo juicy. The chips were also really nice, not too greasy. I would definitely recommend and I’m sure I will be back!"

"I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. I tried the festive menu and enjoyed all the dishes. The server was kind enough to switch my calamari for buffalo wings when I had food envy. They also honored the 2 cocktails for £12 deal, even though it was a weekday offer. The restaurant took all necessary COVID precautions and practiced social distancing, which may have contributed to the quieter atmosphere than usual for this time of year. Typically, there would be a more lively party atmosphere."

"My friend and I visited the original Stack and Still on a Saturday morning for brunch. This was my first time ever visiting the restaurant. The restaurant is lovely inside, although I would say that the tables are quite tightly packed and you can easily...eavesdrop into the conversation next to you. When presented with the menu, there were lots of options of both sweet and savoury pancakes, or the option to create your own. I opted for a mango smoothie, which was nice but nothing special. It was also quite pricey for the amount that you received. For our pancakes, I opted for the breakfast stack, which included lorne sausage, bacon, beans, black pudding, fried onions and eggs, whilst my friend who is vegetarian customised her own. The pancakes themselves really are lovely. We both chose buttermilk pancakes, which were light and fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness. However, the toppings were rather disappointing. The egg, beans and bacon were fine (although it shouldn't be hard to get this right). The black pudding was clearly very low quality and tasted quite bland, whilst the lorne sausage was hard and overcooked. The service was good, again, nothing outstanding. Overall, I wouldn't rush back to this venue. I was very excited because I think the concept is fantastic, although it would appear to me to be style over substance."

"A sophisticated shopping environment off Chequer Street in the heart of the city with a variety of stores including TK max, and eclectic shops like Tiger and Mercedes Benz the latter albeit it temporarily. There is a large clean multi storey car park within the complex with lifts straight into the shopping area, There is a charming Costa Coffee gazebo and the whole area is paved in attractive tiles. "We decided to order based on reviews from TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. We ordered a large serving of fish and chips that easily satisfied both of us, as we both have hearty appetites and were full afterwards. Our only complaint was the price, but the quality of the food and the delicious curry sauce and gravy made up for it. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they also offer Saveloys, which is rare at most fish and chip shops these days, as they mostly focus on battered sausages."

"I had a positive experience at this restaurant, but it may not be suitable for those looking for a quiet atmosphere. Parking can be challenging, either by purchasing tickets on nearby streets or in a multi-storey car park. The food was freshly prepared and well-cooked. We ordered the classic burger with fries, and it was all very delicious. Ordering through the website was quick, and the staff was friendly. My only issue (which is personal and does not affect my overall opinion) was the constant flow of customers in and out, causing noise when the door opened. This seems to be a common occurrence in many restaurants since COVID-19. The prices were a bit high, with two burgers, fries, and milkshakes costing £40. While I may not return due to the prices and fast food atmosphere, I did enjoy the quality of the food."

"My fiancée and I dropped in for lunch as we were passing and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience The staff and especially the owner are incredibly welcoming and the restaurant itself has a great vibe. The deals are fantastic and offer a lot of bang for your buck. Because of that we were really surprised at the fact the food was so well made and incredibly tasty. Would definitely recommend this place and especially their buttermilk wings to anyone Don’t often write reviews but when you find a local place as good as this, you have to show your appreciation.
