"Dine at Zack’s fairly often so know what to expect. Christmas time so bit busier didn’t seem a problem and staff were bubbly and friendly. There was a mix up with our orders though and two of five of us ended up with wrong type of potatoes. One got replacement pots on the house, I made do with the wedges that I hadn’t ordered. Otherwise fine until the end when the waitress (not the same one who’s served earlier) clearly wanted to get us out so she could go home!"

"Group of 5, lovely table by the window so the view was nice. As it was a catch up with friends we were pleased we weren't hurried and the service was good. "Hands down the best burgers in Cheltenham. The people that build these burgers are artists. Always fresh ingredients. Cooked to perfection. Built with care and attention. Even if delivery is sometimes late. It’s worth the wait. Crispy fries (Piri Piri . Shake that’s still thick and cold like it’s just been freshly made minutes ago (Reece’s pieces shake is amazing btw . The most mouthwatering burger so full of flavour (Mexican is my choice, extra nachos! . Can’t give this place high enough praise. Excellent every time. Can’t recommend Smokin Burgers and Shakes enough. Keep up the good work!"

"This was my second visit to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the first visit was better than the second. The wrong burger was brought out initially, but a replacement was given along with extra fries. We were overcharged when we were leaving, but the mistake was rectified and a refund was given on my card. We had to pay a £5 deposit per person to book their bottomless breakfast/brunch, but this was refunded in cash when we paid. The drinks listed are only bottomless. The French toast breakfast was much larger than expected, and my friend struggled to finish it. Overall, my previous visit during the summer had gone smoothly. Parking was limited, but we didn't have an issue finding a spot as it was quiet when we visited."

"came here with my friend for a catch up as heard this place was good. Place was absolutely dead so didn't have high hopes however the server was so lovely and catering. I ordered the fat pig burger which had pulled pork in it and it was amazing- best burger ever. I also had the chilli beef loaded fries which were yummy too and the showstopper for me was the onion rings- they were fab. Portion sizes are huge so will keep this in mind for my next visit. totally recommend and not bad priced also"

"Really nice bar! Visited after having food elsewhere. Friendly staff who explained the rules regarding covid, we had to check in using the qr code. All the tables were nicely spread out so it didn't feel cramped. You order and pay for everything using the app (there is another qr code at the table which takes you to the download in your app store). It was simple to use but you did need to create an account before proceeding to the payment which was a little annoying. This seems to be the norm everywhere though. We went midweek and there was 50% off cocktails which we took advantage of. Quick service to the table, I liked not having to stand around waiting at the bar for your order."

"This restaurant is delivering during lockdown and the vegan pizzas are amazing! They have a lot of options with vegan cheese , chicken and meatballs , or you can build your own vegan pizza. Fair price and very tasty, would definitely recommend! The dough is quite thin which I like and you can have it gluten-free for additional 2£."

"Forgot half my order. Lied to me saying he would go get it. 25 minutes later I called the restaurant and the phone operator lied to me saying the driver was already on his way, which he told me with attitude. Over 2 hours from the delivery time I called again to be immediately hung up on. How difficult is it to read the top two items on the order receipt? Seriously disappointed by the lack of customer service. I really despise franchise businesses now, they allow people to take the **** out of customers while being protected by a whole bunch of by-laws and website pages giving you the run around trying to avoid complaints and refunds. It’s disgusting and you’re really disrespectful for doing it. Lying to my face is one thing, but then knowing you work for less an hour than what you owe me, but not willing to give up that hours wage for anyone, it’s kinda funny. It’s totally fine for me to lose an hour of my life, but if I demanded it from them I wouldn’t get it. Sort your business out; it’s already bad enough you’ve been dodging tax."

"never been for eating here and never. from the experience this is a restless night out of type of place where they can watch the football on a big screen and drink over expensive beer surrounded by late teenagers, students and older men who are desperate to get away from their wives. "This WAS our favourite Bread Meats Bread Restaurant in Edinburgh! Unlike the one on North Bridge the portion sizes WERE still normal, at least until perhaps a month ago..... On our most recent AND LAST visit there seemed to be a new menue..... The food was as good and super tasty as ever but the portion sizes have been reduced significantly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was esp. apparent with the chips portions. Do they think that people will not notice how the portions have become smaller!?! The price has gone up. We spend nearly £50 for lunch. C'ommon, who can afford this??? Needless to say, we will NOT be back which is a real shame as this was our most favourite Restaurant in Edinburgh. This is a real, real shame but to be ripped off like that is not fair."

"we stopped from harpers steakhouse on Saturday afternoon for lunch, and we're sure we're glad we made it. the building itself is beautiful and had a great atmosphere. it was pretty quiet when we visited, but I think it has a big bush in the evening. eating was fantastic, fresh and above all, very good worth considering the quality. we shared some buffalo chicken wings to begin that were fantastic and some of the biggest wings I have ever seen. for that, we both decided for the rump steak. it was nice that they can choose their foods including sauces. I cut with a classic peppercorn sauce next to salad and chunky chips. the meat was very well cooked, the sauce was sublim, the chips were nice and crispy too. service was friendly, and perhaps was a little slower because it was only 2 employees, but overall it was a faultless experience and we would certainly return 100% in the future."
