"Great delivery, well communicated considering had to find me as new build not listed. Very polite. Wish just eat had a tip option for their drivers, as 100% would. Who carries money anymore? Anyhow just one issue, boxes have security seals, they were not stuck down. Please pay attention. Food always great, PJ’s in my OP do the best pizza anywhere in Norwich! Thanks"

"We were sold two pints of vinegary cask ale, so we immediately took them back. The young woman behind the bar, who was very full of herself, told us that there was nothing wrong with them and she wouldn’t change them. She then appeared to have changed her mind, took the beers, and threw them down the sink. We waited for our replacements, but she told us that she wasn’t going to serve us anything else. When we complained about that, she told us to leave, in a very loud voice, as she clearly lived playing to an audience. She was rude, cocky and in desperate need of customer service training. I have been going in the Shakespeare, on trips to Durham, for over forty years. I will never go in there again. Absolutely shocking ."

"This WAS our favourite Bread Meats Bread Restaurant in Edinburgh! Unlike the one on North Bridge the portion sizes WERE still normal, at least until perhaps a month ago..... On our most recent AND LAST visit there seemed to be a new menue..... The food was as good and super tasty as ever but the portion sizes have been reduced significantly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was esp. apparent with the chips portions. Do they think that people will not notice how the portions have become smaller!?! The price has gone up. We spend nearly £50 for lunch. C'ommon, who can afford this??? Needless to say, we will NOT be back which is a real shame as this was our most favourite Restaurant in Edinburgh. This is a real, real shame but to be ripped off like that is not fair."

"Even after two previous visits with the most appalling service we tried one final time as the food is good. But, unfortunately after not even being greeted when arriving (there was only one poor person front of house who was no where to be seen on arrival), over an hour and a half wait for food, no apology when the food finally arrived (even though they knew we had asked twice how long the food would be), we left and will never return. The management need to stop understaffing this place, give their staff some proper training in customer service and actually if they’re not going to be working, allow those they trust to run the restaurant in their absence some authority. Sadly, we will never return."

"My mother-in-law was over from the Isle of Man and is a vegan so we thought we would take her to her first vegan restaurant. We were a party of 5 and the rest of us are true meat eaters so we were all a little apprehensive. The staff were amazing and could not do enough for you and the owner at the start was really keen to take us on a journey of his food. I can honestly say the food is off this planet and the taste is amazing, I've never tasted anything like it in my life. The portions are large and you will never eat it all but you can take it home to enjoy it again the next day. I would defiantly swap a McDonalds burger for a vegan burger from VGN Boulevard. Then the experience goes downhill for all of us including my mother-in-law!! I can't do preaching and even my mother-in-law was angry with the way the owner started on about how back meat eaters are and the whole vegan rant. It was a disappointing end to what was an amazing meal. Not everyone likes to have the vegan preaching."

"We have been to black dog many times for food and until our most recent visit it has been great, but we went for bacon and egg muffins and first of all they FORGOT to put the bacon on after getting home and opening them up, secondly when they did make us new ones with the bacon we had paid £6 each for it was so burnt it was inedible and the muffins were hard. Overall it was greatly disappointing, we will be going other food places near by for breakfast in the future unless the old breakfast sandwich returns to its original standard."

"Located on the lower two floors of a modern office block, this is another outlet from the West country cider and pizza specialists, and whilst it inevitable doesn’t have much in the way of style or ambience, it nonetheless had a bit of a buzz about it, and there was of course an extensive cider selection which is always a plus point. I opted for the “Burger on the Dance Floor” with beef, bacon, cheddar cheese, caramelised onions, gherkins and burger sauce. Overall I’d say it was pretty good, not quite as tasty as it could have been perhaps, and some more topping would have been better, but overall it was a pretty decent effort and served by friendly staff in a reasonable time frame. A desert of Biscoff cheesecake slightly missed the mark I thought, there was nothing really wrong with it, but the Biscoff didn’t seem especially noticeable. Worth a visit though, and if you don’t fancy the long communal benches downstairs, there are also smaller tables upstairs."

"We booked for the Sunday roast and were not disappointed. Both beef and vegetarian were absolutely delicious, as were all the accompaniments, especially the Yorkshire pudding. As we were not familiar with British beers, our waiter recommended one, which we also enjoyed. Two of our party indulged in dessert—one sticky toffee and one apple crumble. Both desserts got thumbs up. Food was superb, service was friendly and attentive, but what really impressed was the value for the price. Sunday roast at the Old Queens Head is now on our must-do list for future visits to London."

"I visited this pub with friends over the weekend to celebrate the end of a friend's university course. I hadn't been here since my own university days and I had forgotten how great of a pub it is. It's a must-visit in Old Aberdeen. The staff and regulars are very friendly. We ended up staying longer than planned and had a meal because we enjoyed it so much. The food was delicious, with honest pub fare that was better than some of the restaurants in town. We will definitely be returning sooner next time."

"Having stopped in Bourton on the Water and thought I would grab something to eat to save sorting something out later that evening. Having a quick scan on Tripadvisor I thought I would give Smiths a try. Entering I was given a choice of table so opted for one by the window to watch the world go by! I ordered the Smiths Classic Burger, Truffle and Parmesan Fries and thought I would give the Limoncello Spritz a try. Some reviews on here say that there is a wait for the food to arrive and yes there is and to me that is a good thing. If you have to wait it means that the food you have ordered is cooked freshly for you. The burger was well cooked and flavoursome with just the right amount of extras inside to make it something easy to pick up and eat. The truffle and parmesan fries again were very flavoursome. The Limoncello Spritz has a bold claim on the menu in saying that they make Limoncello better than the Italians but to me personally Sorrento Limoncello is superior but Smiths Spritz is still very drinkable. Family run and friendly had a nice conversation with Seb about other places locally to visit and with mum (sorry I didn’t catch your name) about how they came to Bourton and the history of the tea room to burger restaurant change. Yes there is a service charge, yes the mention it when paying and ask if that is ok. To me yes that is fine. Visit other restaurants (not cafes or fast food) and you’ll find that they also charge a service charge. Maybe it should be printed on the menu, maybe it shouldn’t. Everyone has their own opinion. Would I go back again? Would I go with friends? The answer to both of these questions is……. Yes without a doubt!"

"The restaurant offers a separate menu for vegans that includes a variety of vegan burgers such as Moving Mountains or a chicken-style option. The Underfaker burger is a decadent creation featuring a hash brown, onion ring, BBQ slaw, and more. It is absolutely delicious. Customers can also order fries, hash browns, and onion rings as separate side dishes. The restaurant offers a good selection of beers and provides excellent service. I will definitely return in the future."

"The phrase 'kitchen theatre ' in the description sums it up perfectly. Watching the chefs interact with the diners and each other right in front of you as they finish dishes of the highest class is a truly special experience. The service ran like clockwork and the staff were also extremely knowledgeablen and accommodating. Anyone with an appreciation for great food should have this on their restaurant bucket list; it took me 3 years to make it here but it was well worth the wait."

"We were visiting the lakes on holiday with friends and decided to book lunch as a meeting point. Myself my husband arrived first and were given a lovely table on the veranda overlooking the lake. There was a speedboat taking people out in rings on the lake which was fun to watch. Our friends were held up by traffic and were almost an hour late, but the staff were so friendly and chilled and we weren't rushed. Service was at the table and it was prompt, professional, but friendly... Once our friends arrived we all ordered sandwiches with chips and the food was fabulous, I particularly enjoyed my salmon sandwich, the portion was great value. We stopped by again just for drinks over the same weekend and sat down on the decking right on the water which was also great. I would absolutely recommend coming here if you're visiting the area, but book if you want food as It's not a huge restaurant and i noticed most of the tables were reserved."

"We've checked out so many vegan junk food places now and I can say the quality of the food is seriously highly here. The Heura Patty in the burgers was one of the best I've tried and I will be looking for these in the future. All the fried items were perfectly done, lovely and crispy with none of the greese. The Hanoi hangover Fries were probably the best item, the combination of sriracha, hoisin, mayo and peanuts was just perfect, I'm not the biggest fan of either sriracha or hoisin but these were perfectly used on these fries. Along with Cafe Thrive in Southampton the central south coast really has some of the best vegan junk food around."

"This place is simply superb. Food was amazingly good, service was top notch and we couldn't have asked for better. My wife and I chose to go here at the last minute, and from the phone call asking about tables, we were treated so well by them. When we arrived, the hostess continued to give us fantastic service. She was bright, bubbly, cheery and attentive. Nothing was too much of a hassle and she was more than happy to have a laugh with us. Our food was ordered and came out in great time and holy heck. The portions were HUGE for the price we paid. My wife had a sirloin and I had a rodeo burger and garlic mushrooms. What I was NOT prepared for was the sheer fullness of the plate. Everything was cooked to perfection, there was so much we just couldn't eat it all! Props to the chefs and the front of house staff, especially the hostess on the 2nd August. Great service, superb food, we're so happy we came here on a whim. We'll be back!"

"My partner and I decided to try this restaurant after reading all of the great reviews and seeing pictures of the food. We traveled about 25 minutes from our hotel to get there. I ordered the Mac and cheese melt with sweet potato fries, while my partner got the Philly cheesesteak melt with loaded tater tots. We were the only customers in the restaurant, but there were a lot of orders coming in online. Our food arrived quickly and my Mac and cheese melt was absolutely delicious. The bread was amazing and the filling was hot and gooey. The chili cheese dip was also really good. We will definitely be returning when we visit Edinburgh again, and next time I think I'll get the tater tots for myself – they were so tasty!"

"that is a solid bar was quite decent eating. burger and chicken type thing, but a decent quality. the beers are pretty good in the design and on a beautiful day everything is opened up to the outside. the bouncer is a bit militant for the Covid-19 rules, but at least they have them located in the opposite to some. easier place to go when they want to eat a few beer with the youngs and something while the sport is."
