"Dine at Zack’s fairly often so know what to expect. Christmas time so bit busier didn’t seem a problem and staff were bubbly and friendly. There was a mix up with our orders though and two of five of us ended up with wrong type of potatoes. One got replacement pots on the house, I made do with the wedges that I hadn’t ordered. Otherwise fine until the end when the waitress (not the same one who’s served earlier) clearly wanted to get us out so she could go home!"

"Ordered double stack on my burger but didn't come with that and was taken off the bill as wasn't going to wait for a other one to be cooked. We had a side of onion rings and one of them had unmixed dry flour inside of it which put us off eaten the rest so sent them back and they was removed from the bill but wasn't really given or offered anything for the inconvenience I appreciate mishaps happen but just left a negative on the Zak's meal which we use quite often."

"Hands down the best burgers in Cheltenham. The people that build these burgers are artists. Always fresh ingredients. Cooked to perfection. Built with care and attention. Even if delivery is sometimes late. It’s worth the wait. Crispy fries (Piri Piri . Shake that’s still thick and cold like it’s just been freshly made minutes ago (Reece’s pieces shake is amazing btw . The most mouthwatering burger so full of flavour (Mexican is my choice, extra nachos! . Can’t give this place high enough praise. Excellent every time. Can’t recommend Smokin Burgers and Shakes enough. Keep up the good work!"

"This was my second visit to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the first visit was better than the second. The wrong burger was brought out initially, but a replacement was given along with extra fries. We were overcharged when we were leaving, but the mistake was rectified and a refund was given on my card. We had to pay a £5 deposit per person to book their bottomless breakfast/brunch, but this was refunded in cash when we paid. The drinks listed are only bottomless. The French toast breakfast was much larger than expected, and my friend struggled to finish it. Overall, my previous visit during the summer had gone smoothly. Parking was limited, but we didn't have an issue finding a spot as it was quiet when we visited."

"Mmmmmmmm. We went here for my birthday a few years ago and it was delicious. Came back today and it was amazing as well, just soo tasty. The meat was juicy, and the pulled pork was tender and again soo juicy. The chips were also really nice, not too greasy. I would definitely recommend and I’m sure I will be back!"

"Really nice bar! Visited after having food elsewhere. Friendly staff who explained the rules regarding covid, we had to check in using the qr code. All the tables were nicely spread out so it didn't feel cramped. You order and pay for everything using the app (there is another qr code at the table which takes you to the download in your app store). It was simple to use but you did need to create an account before proceeding to the payment which was a little annoying. This seems to be the norm everywhere though. We went midweek and there was 50% off cocktails which we took advantage of. Quick service to the table, I liked not having to stand around waiting at the bar for your order."

"My fiancée and I dropped in for lunch as we were passing and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience The staff and especially the owner are incredibly welcoming and the restaurant itself has a great vibe. The deals are fantastic and offer a lot of bang for your buck. Because of that we were really surprised at the fact the food was so well made and incredibly tasty. Would definitely recommend this place and especially their buttermilk wings to anyone Don’t often write reviews but when you find a local place as good as this, you have to show your appreciation. "We were sold two pints of vinegary cask ale, so we immediately took them back. The young woman behind the bar, who was very full of herself, told us that there was nothing wrong with them and she wouldn’t change them. She then appeared to have changed her mind, took the beers, and threw them down the sink. We waited for our replacements, but she told us that she wasn’t going to serve us anything else. When we complained about that, she told us to leave, in a very loud voice, as she clearly lived playing to an audience. She was rude, cocky and in desperate need of customer service training. I have been going in the Shakespeare, on trips to Durham, for over forty years. I will never go in there again. Absolutely shocking ."

"This WAS our favourite Bread Meats Bread Restaurant in Edinburgh! Unlike the one on North Bridge the portion sizes WERE still normal, at least until perhaps a month ago..... On our most recent AND LAST visit there seemed to be a new menue..... The food was as good and super tasty as ever but the portion sizes have been reduced significantly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was esp. apparent with the chips portions. Do they think that people will not notice how the portions have become smaller!?! The price has gone up. We spend nearly £50 for lunch. C'ommon, who can afford this??? Needless to say, we will NOT be back which is a real shame as this was our most favourite Restaurant in Edinburgh. This is a real, real shame but to be ripped off like that is not fair."

"This place is very popular. When we went it was completely full, but luckily we found a sit. Generally the options of burger are good, unfortunately when I went we selected one in the specials menu with bbq sauce, I found it too sweet for my licking. I have to give up half way through, but my friend loved his. The staff was very nice and welcoming."
