"I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. I tried the festive menu and enjoyed all the dishes. The server was kind enough to switch my calamari for buffalo wings when I had food envy. They also honored the 2 cocktails for £12 deal, even though it was a weekday offer. The restaurant took all necessary COVID precautions and practiced social distancing, which may have contributed to the quieter atmosphere than usual for this time of year. Typically, there would be a more lively party atmosphere."

Lovely roast and service. Shame about the pudding as the cream had split. The staff took it off the bill but by the time staff came over everyone had finished so I didn’t want another one.

We had to follow up on our order after waiting for over 45 minutes. I do not recommend this place for steak. There were four of us in our group, and we all ordered steak. Each steak came out rarer than we expected, regardless of how we ordered them to be cooked. We sent one back, but it still came out undercooked. Our Christmas Eve meal out turned into a disappointing experience. We will not be returning in a hurry.
