"Once inside, you can choose to sit at a regular table or in a low seating area surrounded by plush cushions, which I highly recommend. The restaurant was quite empty when we visited, with only two other patrons, yet it felt peaceful and inviting—a calming experience enhanced by the journey through the narrow corridor. We started with Turkish coffee, which tasted like a lighter version of espresso. For appetizers, we ordered icli kofte, and I have to say it was truly amazing—crispy and fresh with a perfect balance of flavors, and the taste of the lamb was exceptional. For the main course, we tried besh barmak, and it was absolutely delicious! The broth was well-balanced, and the delicate beef was served with a pasta that was reminiscent of lasagna. It was simply outstanding. We also ordered a chicken alaturka, which was good but didn’t quite measure up to the previous dish. From the grill, we had the adana shashlik, which was underwhelming. To finish, we ordered black tea served with chak chak, which complemented the tea wonderfully and left us feeling very satisfied. The portions were generous, and the flavors were harmoniously balanced. The most remarkable aspect of the restaurant was its ambiance; it felt so much like home that we ended up staying for four hours without wanting to leave. Our server was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, happy to discuss the food and the restaurant with us. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!"

"I finally visited this little noodle bar that had been on my list for a while now . Nestled in the bustling streets of the city, this hidden gem proved to be a delightful surprise. The menu featured a delectable array of Asian delights, and I couldn't resist ordering a trio of dishes that I'd been longing to savor. The first bite of the Nasi Goreng took my taste buds on a whirlwind journey of flavours ! It was a burst of Indonesian authenticity on my palate. Next up, the Singapore style vermicelli noodles and oh, what a treat they were! Delicately stir fried, they boasted a harmonious blend of sweet and savory flavors, interspersed with succulent shrimp and fresh vegetables. The portion size was generous, ensuring that I savored every bite until the very last noodle. To complete my feast, I ordered the salt pepper chicken wings, and they turned out to be a revelation. The wings were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. Each bite offered an addictive blend of saltiness and a hint of spice, making them an absolute must try for any chicken wing enthusiast. The service was impeccable. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the dishes they served, which added an extra layer of authenticity to the experience. One of the staff member suggested we try the Singapore style vermicelli and it was a banger ! In summary, this charming noodle bar exceeded my expectations in every way. It's the perfect spot for those seeking an intimate dining experience and an explosion of Asian flavors. If you're a fan of Nasi Goreng, Singapore style vermicelli noodles, and salt pepper chicken wings, you simply can't afford to miss this hidden gem. I left the restaurant with a heart full of satisfaction and a belly full of unforgettable flavors. I can't wait to return and explore more of their tantalizing menu. Don't hesitate to visit; it's an experience worth savoring! You get a 10% student discount if you pay in cash ! :"

"We had an 8pm reservation and arrived a couple of minutes beforehand. Despite being able to find the reservation in the system, there was no table for us until 8.20pm. In the meantime, another party with a later reservation came in and was seated. I appreciate that their party was larger and was therefore given the larger table that became available first, but still think it reflects poorly on the restaurant that they weren’t organised for a booking. The staff were polite and briefly apologetic but didn’t seem too bothered by their error. The food itself was good. We had tempura prawns to start, which came with a delicious dipping sauce. I then had a fillet steak for my main course. I ordered rare but what I received was more akin to medium rare and even medium in parts. Only the very middle was rare. This might be due to the ‘tall’ nature of the cut (see pictures). The medium rare ribeye was good. The sides were huge. We barely finished the truffle chips between us. The mac ‘n’ cheese was OK – I would have preferred it without the crumb topping as in my opinion it has no place in the dish. It was described on the menu as having this though, so I knew what I was getting myself into. The service was mostly good, though there was one member of the wait staff who seemed a bit out of their depth. They were very young and I think perhaps new. Luckily it was very quiet (I think we were the last table seated that evening, so by the time we were onto our mains, the place was dead) so this wasn’t much of a problem. There is just one toilet, an accessible bathroom and baby change combo. I was disappointed to see the emergency pull cord tied up out of reach, rendering the bathroom unsuitable for some disabled customers. The bathroom in general was not overly clean and in need of refurbishment. In my experience, the place is not deserving of the current 4.3 star Google or 4.5 star Trip Advisor ratings, but has potential if management can sort out the issues listed above. I would like to score 3.5 but as this is not possible, I am going to round down on this occasion."
