"super! From the outside the restaurant looked cozy and picturesque. the limited seating area made it quite exclusive, with options of bar, tables and zashiki (traditional low-table seating). there was a nice atmosphere. all guests, including us, enjoy the place. the staff was very friendly and cheerful. we had ordered small dishes from the meat menu and net. they were all delicious. can also not go wrong with asahi on hahn! we thank the restaurant for such a beautiful experience. we would recommend this facility for anyone who loves Japanese food or wants to try something new!"

"I used to go to Benihana regularly, Toptable did deals where you could have the traditional dinner for £20 so I have tried every variety of it. "my first visit was certainly not my choice, I'm just randomly with some friends together. I've always avoided going to one of those chain restaurants. what surprised me most was the fresh of eating. I really enjoyed everything I tried. I would decide to go back. actually, I would if I were to take a lunch. this place had a very large dining area in the cellar. not always a fan of cellar, windowless areas."

"Haven’t been here in over a year until today but wasn’t impressed this time around. Whilst service is polite and they do attend to you, the place does feel even less authentic now than before. Japanese language gets you nowhere which detracts from the overall experience. This is more of an asian fusion place tbh. Secondly (and perhaps most importantly) the food was extremely oily today which is really unhealthy (not that Tonkotsu Ramen is a health dish). But today the soup was literally swimming in a sea of oil (see pic below). Please take with this as this the absolute basic of any so-called “Japanese”."

"This is my local Kosher Chinese restaurant and cannot fault a single thing! I do not remember her name she's Romanian (I am so sorry) who knows my family well, she's so polite, friendly, lovely and I always get the same when I come in here vege spring rolls, seaweed, beef with shittake mushrooms noodles and sometimes egg fried rice and the food is so fresh, delicious and just wonderful. I have eaten in too and the service again is always so wonderful, I have eaten at the branch in Golders Green too and zero complaints massive portions, well priced and I always have leftovers for the next day. Just a tip if anyone's seaweed arrives a tad soggy put it in the oven for 2-5 mins but keep an eye on it as it gets burnt very quickly. 10/10 customer service, 10/10 for the food and I cannot recommend this restaurant any higher than I am already!"

"This evening my boyfriend and I visited the restaurant reluctantly and unsure of what they would have on offer for me (a vegan). But to my delight, they were able to cater to my every need and more. Siddhesh answered every question with confidence and knowledge. The staff were lovely and polite, whilst delivering a quick and pleasant service. I am so pleased with my visit to the restaurant, as not only were the above positives present the food was delicious too!! They also had a vegan chocolate cake which was superb. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in future! Thank you to you all!"

"The food at this restaurant was amazing, but unfortunately the service was poor. We had booked a table but were running late, so I called to let them know. They told us we only had an hour to eat because they had another reservation after us. When we arrived, we were again reminded of this and made to feel like we shouldn't have come. We were ready to order within 5 minutes, but it took the staff another 10 minutes to come take our order. The same thing happened when we were done eating and ready for the bill - another 10 minute wait. Despite leaving on time, there was no one waiting for our table when we left."

"Didn’t actually manage to eat as despite booking 2weeks in advance there was no table for us. We waited more than 20mins outside with no information as to what was happening or how long we might need to wait. They seemed to have no system at all for how they were seating people and when I asked what the plan was they were really rude and told me to be patient. Ended up leaving to eat elsewhere as it was chaos. Also noted the screens separating the tables inside were below face height so not covid safe. Between this and the scrum of confused people waiting for their booked table I’d stay clear if you’re at all concerned about covid. Seems they really haven’t go the hang of a booking system at all."

"great atmosphere, delicious food, helpful staff. we really enjoyed this place, the owners recommended were the best. the ribs were excellent. we all had noodles of different kind, he even changed a menu item to meet our request! missing on the Korean barbq, but we will be back in the mai when it starts again. the main entrance is flat and accessible, the second door could open for a wheelchair if necessary. it is obviously a well-used device and they can say it. it could have been a little cleaner, with more carefree in general, therefore the missing 5th star from this review. otherwise a great place. had no chance to taste the cocktails or the wineable, but that only means we're coming back!"

"Absolutely loved this quiet little tea house just around the corner from the Minister just up from the main shops; an ideal location. Most options were vegan on the mains menu, nearly all drinks could be made vegan most of the cakes on the daily cakes board were also vegan...so many options it was hard to choose! I got the tofu teriyaki mayo donburi bowl (with miso soup of course which was super tasty a really good size portion, then I couldn't resist a vegan matcha blondie, which was yummy, although I think you'd have to be a bit of a matcha addict like me to appreciate it. Will definitely be going again. ~Edit (04/02/22 Was super excited to hear they were doing a Veganuary 3 course set menu it did not disappoint! For a very fair £20, we had the most delicious traditional Japanese food unlike anything else I've ever tasted. For mains I had the Umami spaghetti; was better than any Italian pasta I've ever had! And for dessert the matcha zenzai, which was so bizarre to me, but really nice (though as in my previous review, I'm just a teeny bit biased towards matcha things Would definitely recommend actually they're running the Veganuary menu into March so still plenty of time to try it! "We're regulars at this little gem of a restaurant and have introduced our friends to it too. The food has been wonderful every time we've visited and when we've done take away! "We were not prepared for the flavour journey Kazoku we're taking us on. Beautiful, simply. Divine. Magical. A journey through taste that we haven't experienced before. The plum wine, the serving of the food in intervals, the clinical knowledge the staff had of the food. We would like to personally commend the chefs for allowing us to try their food. "In the last 12 months we have eaten here around 5 or 6 times, the food is fantastic ,the chicken satay skewers are the best i and indeed my friends have ever eaten (I would go just for these alone!! The rest of the menu is excellent, a good choice and great value for money, the steaks are worth a visit alone! I normally do not have a desert as the starter and main will always fill me up but on out last visit I also had a eaton mess for desert and was not disappointed, as I said the quality of the food shows to me good quality produce and obviously very well trained and educated chefs. Great service in a really well kept and presented establishment, attentive but not over bearing staff are happy to help and assist. And just to add we recently had a Sunday roast there and it was absolutely fantastic too. I can highly recommend a visit to this place and don't think you would be disappointed to do so. I can honestly say there are no negatives to me about this place at all and cannot praise these hard working guys enough, i am certainly now looking forward to our next visit as there are many more things on the menu I simply must try!!. So there you have it! In a nutshell this is a must visit restaurant and one I will definitely making a regular destination for a good meal. Thanks guys and compliments to you all"

"Carry out. Got home and plated it. Shredded honey roast pork and fried rice, chicken teryaki. Both were grey, bland looking; a rather joyless an unappetising looking pair of dishes. Thats OK if it tastes good. It didn 't. Both dishes were bland. Like a packet rice dish thrown in with some pork or chicken. There was no notion that someone with any cooking skills had been involved. The chicken had the dreaded woody breast (look it up) an awful, fibrous chicken texture. Took both dishes back, got a refund. Not good at all, very disappointing."
