"Then, a man named Dan approached us and rudely placed a 'reserved' sign on our table, saying, "We need this table at 4 PM." When I pointed out we had about 50 minutes left, he responded in a rather condescending manner. I assured him that if we had our food by then, it wouldn't be a problem since we planned to eat and leave, not stay for drinks. Meanwhile, I noticed that a similarly sized table next to us was reserved for 3:30 PM and decorated with Pride accessories. At 3:45 PM, a female waitress approached our table and insisted that we needed to leave. I explained that we had ordered food that hadn’t arrived yet and were still enjoying our drinks. Dan returned, still with an unpleasant attitude, and reiterated that they needed our table due to a booking. I informed him that we were not leaving because we were still waiting for our food. He continued to be rude, asking me what he was supposed to do about the booking. I pointed out that we had already ordered food and that it wasn't our fault if they hadn’t managed their reservations properly; you can’t just slap a reserved sign on a table and expect us to leave. He then told me, "I'll refund your food order," which was completely unacceptable. The entire exchange was uncomfortable, with my daughter witnessing the rude behavior and false statements from Dan, such as him claiming that "upstairs is for bookings only," which was simply not true. I suggested that they could seat the reservation at the table next to us that was still unoccupied, even though it was past the booking time. After walking away, he soon returned to request the reservation card, which I passed to him. He then replaced the reservation card at the next table with our 4 PM booking card. It was that simple. This whole altercation was unnecessary and really put a damper on what was meant to be a celebratory day for me and my daughter. I genuinely believe that Dan needs additional training on handling reservations and understanding that paying customers have the right to occupy a table until their food has been served. We shouldn't have to endure such a hostile experience."

"I had the lamb which was cooked perfectly. The chips were cold with no heat at all and this was the same for all of us. The chips may have been lovely hot, but cold they certainly weren 't. Perhaps we should have sent them back but there were six of us and I don 't think we could have stood the wait of six meals being brought up to temperature. The broccoli was also cold (but this isn 't such a problem for broccoli). The peppers were good, the sauce indifferent. Dessert was a brownie with an intenesely tart passionfruit coulis. In itself it was fine, but to my taste didn 't go with the brownie at all and actively fought against it. On top of this was a mousse whose flavour I 'd call 'sweet ' (I think it was supposed to be chocolate). On top of this were some pieces of honeycomb which didn 't add (or take away) anything. A dessert which while not actively unpleasant, I 'd never want to eat again. I 've been in chain restaurants like Cote or Cafe Rouge where they make a rich, satisfying choclate fondant I 'd much, much rather have a competent dessert than one which tries too hard and fails. I didn 't have a starter as I usually struggle with three courses and sides. I had the main, shared two sides and had a dessert and, when I left, was still hungry. For £40 plus wine this was an expensive disappointment. Six diners, four not happy with the meal, and haven 't discussed it with the other two."

"not really Thai food lovers. probably one of the least tasty Thai meal I had. I took my friend who was an Olympic visit in the country, in the epsom thai. it was a last night special meal and I was embarrassed in the low quality. the tom yum suppe that we had was really salty and tasted nothing like tom yum tom yum is characterized by its pronounced hot and acidic aromes and fragrant crink grass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal, limette juice, fish sauce and crushed chilipfeffer. we could just try fish sauce, nothing else. I have certainly missed the galangal and zitruskalk leaves, not cheap, but if they serve Thai food, they should be included. We next had, pad thai and drank. the pad thai was not great and came without a kalk I have never seen before. When I asked after kalk, the waitress still put a disc lemon on the table and went away. I had to use it on my duck to give it some aroma, but this has not improved the gray tasty dish. I love thai and have eaten many in my time, its most often the fragrance of the dishes and even the rice that gives me so much joy. they had used cheap white rice that was hard and certainly not fragrant or even delicious. the waitress seemed irritated and hurried so that we could not really communicate. on the bright side the restaurant is beautifully laid out and the other waitress was friendly and smiling enough, but they were underused. I was here years ago and his changes, not for the good. I really hope they get another cook and bring back the taste to the dishes with fresh ingredients."
