"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"Now, what can I say....love this place my family and I have made it a little a family tradition to go there when we go to brighton. the gentleman who owns it is so friendly and nothing is too much annoyed and the rest of the staff are equally friendly. the quality and presentation of food is undoubtedly excellent. we've never been disappointed over all the years we're going there. it is a must if they are in brighton, just eat nothing before they go in there, make sure that they are very full of it as they do not scrimp on portion sizes either. we had full breakfast waffel and 2 x dessert waffeln. my family member enjoyed the beautiful sunglass, which was given as a beautiful gesture, because there is birthday so friendly and very unexpected. Thank you for coming back soon."

"I was severely disappointed with my experience here. Having paid £11 for two crepes I was expecting a very good standard but was immediately concerned when I saw them remove “pre cooked” crepes from a tray behind the counter. I have ALWAYS had freshly cooked crepes to order wherever I’ve been. Having ordered a chocolate and strawberry crepe I was expecting this to be filled but was given a total of two small strawberries and a drizzle of cold chocolate sauce. The crepe itself was as you might think having clearly been left out from being cooked hours before cold, rubbery and horribly tough to eat. I can not believe the money they charged and what terrible quality this was. I wonder if they will be good enough to explain them self with a response..."

"dreadful, very horny waitress. eat more pretentious, over price, tasted ‘ok’, but really nothing special. my chicken capital did not come with veg or kartoffel, so they have to buy the separately at £4, which if they arrive are enough for 2 people. a real waste of food and so stupid, not included with the main dish. no great place if they want a romantic or quiet table for 2. very loud. the bad layout and no idea of sitting things, meant that we stuck between 2 big groups of people, a side with a woman who swarms all the time. not funny. probably okay if they're on work night or a big birthday party. but it felt very hastened and they did not have a front side of the house to check everything is ok, or if they needed something. our waitress has done her best, but it took ages to get the bill as we could not signal anyone, and forget to need something or more drinks. we were handed over a menu when we set ourselves, but had to wait 10 minutes to ask for a wine menu. everything in all it felt like a transport belt system, nothing friendly or personal, very hurried, loud and badly managed. we are happy to get out of there and drink a drink somewhere else. they also have to sit in their moms, as nowhere to hang them and the toilets are not signed, so had to guess and ask for directions in the main hotel next door. the lighting and decorations were beautiful, but this is about the best I can say about it. will not come back soon."

"We arrived at the time we had booked, they didn’t have our table reserved so they tried to seat us on another terrace, not the one booked. We asked to be seated on the upper terrace and they managed to seat us but they were very obviously annoyed, and a little rude. Ordered starters and mains which all came out together and when we said we ordered them as starters and mains were told “well that’s not what the order says” they sent them back and whilst we were eating our starters they asked us 4 times if we had finished. Hey presto when the mains came out they were very obviously reheated. There was hot salad on my plate! All the food was going to the wrong tables, wrong orders, the table next to us waited an hour for their drinks. Starters were lovely, mains were not. We ordered more drinks which they got wrong twice, so we left straight after eating what we could. To sum it up an awful evening, almost amusingly so, as it was chaos, the staff minus two lads working were rude and the food was kept under a hot plate. We won’t be returning such a shame as it’s a beautiful setting. One word of advice to the management please ask your waitresses with really long hair to tie it back, there was hair everywhere and we could hear other people saying the same!"

"After arriving back from a day at legoland we were tired and hungry. The kids food was a buffet which was good though not much choice but as I had to ask where our starters were after 40 minutes the kids had already eaten their food and were starting to get bored which completely ruined our meal . My starter was cold . My husband had steak for his main but wasn't offered a steak knife and it was very hard to get the staffs attention as there was not enough of them. Though they were very kind and helpful and good with the kids some of them looked shattered so it was a surprise to see the same staff for breakfast. The food we had was nice but massively overpriced perhaps to compensate for the free children's food."

The food was delicious, making for a very enjoyable meal. "It seems that the staff could use a bit more experience. Everyone appeared quite young and inexperienced, except for one young man who seemed genuinely apologetic about the situation and clearly has the potential to be a manager, as he recognized the issues. The service was incredibly slow, the menu was lacking variety, and one of the bartenders had a strong odor, suggesting he hadn’t washed in days, and his clothes were quite wrinkled. The first waitress treated me as if I were at a fast-food restaurant. The food was nearly cold upon arrival, although the dessert was quite good. Breakfast items were excellent but overwhelmed by the large number of patrons; they really should manage bookings better if they’re expecting such crowds. I was even suggested to sit in the bar area, away from the restaurant, with four children, which meant I had to keep walking back and forth to get their meals throughout the morning. I had my wedding there once, and the experience was much better back then. The hotel would benefit from having some more experienced staff and a manager regularly monitoring the situation, especially addressing the issues with the bartending staff. Unfortunately, since the hotel modernization, I’ve consistently experienced poor service during three visits. On a positive note, the rooms were comfortable, and the prices were reasonable. I suppose for a Holiday Inn, it may be acceptable, but it used to be so much better."

"As an IHG Platinum member I chose dine at the hotel restaurant however due to dairy and egg allergies I was very disappointed that the soup was labelled vegan but contained cheese. The vegan burger was labelled vegan but was not and on some menus not all the vegan logo had been crossed out next to the burger! Eventually I asked for bread as none of the vegan options were actually vegan and I was told the bread contained egg and although it was on the menu as an accompaniment for vegan dishes it was not actually vegan. This is unacceptable as anyone with allergies to dairy or eggs could suffer an alergic reaction the these foods and the Vegan."

"What a fantastic service we received! Starting with Reception-Mathew was so lovely and informative. Our room was slightly dated but very clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant to which the staff were lovely. Dinner was very nice and all in good time. The staff all made such a fuss of our little girl who is going through chemotherapy with balloons and even a complementary drink for myself and my husband. We used the playroom which is a great asset to the hotel! Then we had full use of the pool and gym facilities until 2030. Love the team and hotel, definitely coming back. Thankyou"

"I often stay at this hotel but have never finished work early enough to dine in their restaurant. The dining experience was quite enjoyable, with a good selection of dishes to choose from. The restaurant itself is very clean and modern, and the staff is both friendly and professional. My only complaint is that it feels a bit pricey for a hotel restaurant. While the quality of the food is good, it doesn't quite match the standards of the Marco Pierre White hotels that I also frequent. This experience, however, was a pleasant one."
