"We visited here with our 15 year old Son after pre booking a table. We only went to be honest as my Wife had been gifted a £20 gift card. Not a favourite place to eat for any of us. Arrived at 1pm and was...pleased to see it wasn't too busy. Lovely cheery, helpful Lady on reception greeted and seated us. Can not fault the Staff today all happy and very pleasant. The cleaning of tables and chairs was carried out very efficiently and swiftly asap people vacated. Young girl was really spot on doing this and removing used dishes. We opted for the Buffet option of the salad and pizza £8.99 each. Im sure the size of the salad bowls have shrank over the years! Not a fan of the salad but was nice and fresh. The biggest let down today was the pizza's. They were mostly deep pan which were so doughy it was just not pleasant. The crust and dough were also undercooked sadly. All you saw on tables were piles of the deep pan dough and crusts left where peeps including ourselves just ate the toppings! The odd thin base came out and also these were the only ones with pepperoni on, these were snatched within seconds. I heard a man ask when anymore would next be coming out. So this was the biggest letdown for all id say. We had the refillable drinks which was a tad confusing as it said all drinks were sold out but they weren't when you pressed the buttons! Our Son had the refillable ice cream which he loved. Again the dishes for this seem to have shrunk since our last visit. Overall it will be a long time until we go to Pizza Hut again. Bill came to £39.81 so without the £20 gift card tbh we wouldn't have been so happy to have paid almost £40 for the food we got today. If your a fan of the place, then the staff and cleanliness are spot on at this one "

"My wife and I were given a groupon voucher for a Luxury afternoon tea as a special surprise gift. Booking was straight forward with open table website, this I would recommend. We booked for 13.00 Monday this week, our table was ready, only two other tables were occupied so were seated immediately. Staff were very courteous and obliging and took our order straight away, on viewing the close vicinity of our table, the table next to us had been recently vacated so was laden with empty pots which were cleared after about 10 minutes and quickly wiped over, leaving a large smear of stale dessert along the edge of the table, possibly not from the last customers judging by the cleaning expertise. Our table had wet rings with crumbs obviously cleaned by the same method. The after noon tea arrived fairly promptly and looked and tasted delicious, let down by table ware, the two tea pots were ready for scrapheap one looked quite dangerous with a handle cracked at top joint with pot and tea stained, the others spout was largely chipped and again tea stained, both teaspoons had tea stains, I would not expect this from a back street Café. Considering this is advertised as Luxury , charging a luxury price, this easily remedied standard falls well below par. Having said that the quality of food was very good, the ambiance wasn 't as expected after seeing the website which shows beautifully lit chandeliers with a Grand piano music, and soft furnishing, which makes it look something really special to accompany the £36 list price, it doesn 't really justify even the groupon half price."
