"Food lovely, nice selection. Small amounts of each dish available so you get the sense it is kept fresh. Puddings were good. Nice, small pieces of cakes to choose from so you can sample different ones without waste. Ice cream delicious too. Drink service a bit slow despite restaurant being very quiet. Before it changed hands we liked that you could bring your own wine but Saffron have a no alcohol on premises policy so leave the wine at home. Toilets were terrible, no lock on one of the doors, no loo roll in the other, spider on a web inside one of the toilets not clean or well maintained, let's the place down I'm afraid."

"really bad experience. not sure what restaurant went on to these other reviewers because the staff was really not helpful. has been referred to what seemed to be the chef of the restaurant immediately, which means that the personal 't formed on allergens, but the manager clearly 't understand what vegan meant also. He told me to get a dish and he'd tell me if they could make it vegan. I explained we could be here all day to go through the menu, but he insisted. I went, of course, directly to the sweet dishes to which he said no (to all! because they have flour in them. I tried to explain that flour has nothing to do with veganism, but he did not understand. I would leave the restaurant if we were not there for my vater birthday, as we began to make a scene when I tried to explain that they have vegan options available, but can't say which options these are. I went with a bombay aloo that is usually vegan. I feel like they have deliberately put a boiled egg in themselves, as I have never seen that it is part of the teller. So I didn't eat the meal and didn't say anything, paid and left. I do not understand that all restaurants have vegan options available, but I thought after the reviews here and the fact that they have advertised vegan options on their menu that they would be helpful, but it is probably the worst experience I had."

"The best fine dining restaurant in Crawley. They really take pride in cooking up some delicious and unique Indian food you’ll only find at Zari. This makes them a strong contender for the possibly the best Indian cuisine in West Sussex. You’ll not only love the fancy dishes, curry’s and grilled food on the menu but the wonderful service and atmosphere will make you visit again for more. A well deserved 5 stars from me, I would recommend it as an ideal place for a romantic date night for couples and a family friendly restaurant perfect for celebrating a special occasion. However, if you’re anything like me you’ll find yourself dining here every time you’re just craving a really good curry that hits the spot."

"The menu at this restaurant is good, with efficient and friendly staff. I have been coming here regularly for a year and have never had any issues with the food. They offer delicious rich sauces, particularly in the zentara and kalli March dishes. When you order a main dish, you also receive a small salad. If you pre-order over the phone, your food will be ready in 20 minutes, even during busy times. They offer delivery within 20 minutes as well. The chicken tikka charcoal grill is a standout dish, with a light curry sauce that pairs well with naan and chicken. The pakora sauce has a nice kick to it and the portions are generous. In addition to Indian cuisine, they also offer pizza, kebabs, and chips. They have chef selection meals and accept orders through Just Eat. There is a small bench and a TV for waiting customers."

"Last Saturday night, on June 25th, 2022, I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I strongly advise against ordering from this establishment. My friend and I ordered takeout and both ended up extremely ill, spending the past 4 days and nights suffering from painful stomach cramps on the toilet. We are awaiting the results from doctors to confirm if it was indeed food poisoning. Order from this place at your own risk."

"I'm about to order for the second time from here and remembered I said I'd write a review for them if I thought they deserved the praise. They do! Me and my girl both loved the food. Mostly I'd rather cook myself than get a takeaway because I'm generally disappointed with places around Glasgow and feel I've just wasted a bunch of money on low quality garbage. Home Style food is good though, thank god, I'm confident my curry will be good again tonight!"

"Ordered two fish and chips by phone. One for me, one for my brother...OH MY GOD! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I very rarely finish the chips, they're usually cold and taste awful but these ones were fantastic and I can't believe I ate them all. Will definitely be going back here. "The back of the restaurant was dirty and not as clean as one would expect. Personally, I would not eat here. There is a better fish and chip shop next door called Random N, and I recommend trying their curry. The quality is unbeatable. There were cobwebs throughout the entire shop. When I asked if they had a vacuum cleaner, the response I got was, "I can't eat here, it does.""

"Upon entering this lovely restaurant, our dining experience was exceptional. We enjoyed the buffet and had a delicious meal. The service was outstanding, with a friendly and welcoming staff. Although they do not have a liquor license yet, it was easy to run across the road to Scotmid for a bottle of red wine. This minor inconvenience did not detract from our enjoyable time, and we will definitely be returning."

"The restaurant rated well on urbanspoon so we thought we'd try it. We ordered two meat thalis and a side of tarka daal. There was a lot on the table and one thali would have sufficed for both of us. The one vegetable dish in the thali was a little bland in comparison to the others but all in all we weren't disappointed, and the bonus was the price was reasonable Closest tube station is Royal Oak."
