"i would really advise strongly against using the services of this restaurant .ive used them three times and never again. im an experienced waiter of many years standing and have never and would never give such bad service to a customer or i wouldnt have a job.my first time ordering a received a call after some time asking to come down to a car to pick up my food.i informed the driver to ring my bell(i live in a house)and bring my food to me.he then buzzed my bell and came up the stairs huffing and puffing as if i was putting him out.he obviously doesn't understand what delivery means.he was so miserable i was really worried that my food could have been maliciously interfered with.i went through the same experience twice more although i always tipped him.i went to order again and was told we dont deliver to you anymore .use uber eats and the phone was dropped twice on me.this is so shocking im enraged and words fail me that this kind of attitude happens in the uk.if your driver doesent want to deliver get on that does want to.these points have already been covered in many other reviews,very negative experience and just generally very unpleasant.thank god there many other restaurants in the area ,so i dont have to give support to such unprofessional outfits"

"Ordered from here at on a Saturday thinking I would get it in before it gets busy. It didn’t get delivered until When I rang to ask where it was, they were rude. When it eventually arrived the curry and rice was cold....I again rang and complained to which I had a very abrupt answer that they would send another one out which I declined and demanded a refund. They then sent a delivery driver back to pick up the cold food!! Appalling service and from what I tasted of the curry I didn’t miss much"

"I always command the spicy chicken tikka karahi from bhajee, but from some reason the karahi curry was removed from the menu just eat!? Please bring it back! I have to order from alternative Indian restaurants to have my favorite karahi curry, and they are not as good as bhajee. the curry at bhajee is always very tasty and of good quality (there was one or two curries, where the meat not quite up to scratch a little hard, but that was a rareness.) in the rule has the curry beautiful tikka meat and generous amounts of fresh paprika and wobbles yum. also the rice is beautiful it can not fail. the ‘spicy’ version has recommended for me the correct amount of hotness very. sometimes the delivery is a little slow, but it doesn't matter to wait for me if I know that eating is going to be good. ps: Bhajee staff, if you read this, please bring back the karahi curry on the just eat menu!"

"forget the decoration, everything about eating. the best lamm karahi in glasgow there is no doubt about it and that with the best in Scotland. it is really hard to get a better tasting curry full hold. freshly made, fresh nan and red. taste and taste were divine. When I got through, I made a point to come back. overpriced restaurants could learn something or two from these youngs. service with a smile, also had the huh tikka, which is delicious. recommended and five stars all over the way. If I'm ever up the neck of the forest, this place is saved in my favorites."

"A group of friends and I visited Glasgow and stumbled upon this charming restaurant. I was impressed by the beautiful paintings on the walls that brought back childhood memories. However, the food was a letdown. We ordered fish pakora and chili chicken, but the presentation of the chili chicken was unconventional and not to our liking. The taste was also disappointing. The Gol Goppa was a standout dish. The chicken Chettinadu and prawn korma were okay, but lacked authenticity. The biryani was overly buttery, overshadowing the spices and fragrance. The naan was the highlight of the meal. The staff was polite and the service was efficient. Overall, this restaurant may not be suitable for those seeking authentic Indian cuisine."

"Have eaten here befiore and it has been much better. Food was OK but one of the dishes was very bland. We had booked in advance at 8pm. It was a busy Saturday night and the service was somewhat strange all night starting with the waiter bringing a single starter. We asked if the others were coming and he rather abruptly said yes. The others then followed a bit strange but ok. The worst was when at 9:10 we were asked if we would leave the table. We still had half of our drinks left and had only just finished eating, 70 minutes after the booking time hardly an age? I feel they were being gready and putting profit before serving the customers already in the restaurant. Maybe the new restaurant was a step too far and they are struggling for staff but I really felt there had to be a manager there with the correct attitude. They all seemed a bit undertrained and all over the place to be honest which is not great as it is not cheap. Won't be going back for a while at least."

"Do not order food from this establishment. 7.56PM: I ordered food using Dunfermline Eats 9.30PM (1 Hour 30 min later): I called for an update and was advised that food was on its way. 10PM (2 hours later): I phoned for an update and was told the driver delivered it. They asked the driver who described a property with a fence. I explained it was not my property. I was told a new order would be made up and delivered. 10.20PM (2.5 hours later): A delivery driver shows up at my door with no food. He asked me Did a driver deliver here earlier? I explained the situation. He gave some explanation that sometimes there 's miscommunication between drivers. He awkwardly stood at the door saying I don 't know what to do now. Utterly confused what was actually happening, I phoned the restaurant again. At this point the driver had returned claiming that I was the person who accepted the delivery earlier in the night. I could not believe the audacity of the delivery driver to first lie to me at the door that he was not the driver who delivered to the wrong door but to then return to the shop, stating he had delivered to the property. Eventually, I asked for a full refund after effectively being called a liar by the driver. The Brig would NOT refund me but insisted on delivering a new order with a different driver. 10.55PM (THREE HOURS LATER): My order finally arrived. My thoughts on what happened; the driver could not admit that he had delivered to the wrong property because when he appeared at my door he had clearly been driven down with someone else from the establishment which is why he had to awkwardly knock on my door and have a false conversation with me. Interestingly, the food order was never set to On its way like it always does until the second order was despatched. Is it possible that the food order was never actually given to the driver and the mistake rests with the Brig itself? Either way someone working there is being knowingly untruthful. Summary: I received food THREE HOURS after I ordered it (too late to eat and enjoy any food). I was called a liar by the delivery driver used by this Brig takeaway. I will never order from the Brig again nor will I use Dunfermline Eats as customers have less protection. I will be sharing my experience through word of mouth and advising others of my experience and not to avoid this establishment. Shameful."

"I decided to take my sons out for a meal on a Sunday and it was our first time at Everest Inn. The service was excellent from the beginning and the food, from the starters to the main courses, was delicious. "Sadly another Takeaway that had a great reputation and customer service but since new owns have taken over no so much service isn't good and owner doesnt understand that that he should remove items from his menu no raise the price of items and deals but then refuse to sell them i would rather pay to have new menus printed with the correct items and deal that i am willing to sell at those prices and not have to pay a fine for false advertising. But sadly it's only the latest of a sting of local takeaways in this area that have change owners and the new owns who bought the business because it was doing so well wont have the same level of custom as they dont seem to understand the things the previous owners did that got them those customer levels. Some rule for achieve this is. If it is not broke dont try to fix it. But to many these people think they know better."

"Received a delivery last night, the first time I’ve used this restaurant. I’m afraid to say it’s not for me. We had a lamb tikka masala, chilli chicken masala, both violent red colour, with pilau rice, mushroom fried rice and a portion of chips. The food wasn’t bad and the portions were fine and my wife said hers was “ok”. Mine was “ok” too, however I would expect a chilli chicken to have a certain strength, which is why I ask for chillies! Extremely mild with it seemed a background taste of coconut, an ingredient I wouldn’t put int a masala sauce. I did find 3 small chillies in the meal. Pilau rice appeared to be boiled rice with some colouring, no cassia, cloves or cardamom flavours at all. Oh, the chips were tough and seemed old. Ordered via the website, countdown timer showing delivery time. Pointless, doesn’t track the order. Lastly, there was a service charge of 50p as well as delivery charge. I paid cash! If they’re charging for credit/debit card charges, this is illegal."

The staff are very friendly and the prices are reasonable for a city center location, although they have increased recently. The restaurant recently relocated to a larger space with more seating. I would typically give it 4 stars, but my last meal was overly salty and had too much oil, which was disappointing as they are usually good. "As someone who has been a cook for many years and a lover of Indian cuisine, I recently visited this restaurant for the first time on my birthday. I must say that I was extremely impressed and even a bit frustrated that I only have one stomach, as the food was truly magical and delicious. The dishes prepared by the chefs were a delight to the taste buds and I was completely enamored with the flavors. Additionally, the restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and pleasant. The staff were also professional and attentive. I will definitely be returning to this wonderful Indian restaurant again. Thank you."
