"We started using Bonoful when our closet Indian takeaway went downhill and we would not go anywhere else. The delivery is a real bonus for us as many don't deliver out to our village. The service and food are both fabulous and the discount offered for collection is also great when we have time to collect. The food is always delicious and hot and the welcome is warm whthe that's when we collect or when delivered and the owner always knows and remembers who we are . "we went for the first time on Friday. I'm shocked it won't heaving! the food was delicious, the staff was so friendly and did not linger or hasten you. there was so much choice on the menu and loved that they could see in the kitchen that proved they had nothing to hide! the ice cream is amazing when they can choose a taste, the naan looks amazing and they were so helpful with diet requirements. if they enjoy beer and do not drive, they try the king cobras, but warn them are quite strong! we took two parent groups, both of whom said it was the best indian they were, the facility that was the personal everything brilliant. 100% recommended!"

"Hungover and wanted a carvery delivered. The meat was the texture of what could only be described as, cabbage? almost as if it was boiled and watered down, tasteless to say the least. The promise of home made stuffing came to a burning halt when...i opened the box only to find out that I was sold a dream so be faced with a grey ball that was the texture of sand?? the roast potatoes were raw yet soggy? Don’t even get me started on the ‘cauliflower cheese’, nothing like dry cauliflower with no cheese. the array of 2 different vegetables was honestly what’s not to love about raw hard veg. Oh and not to mention it was stone cold upon arrival. Delivery time took 2 hours. Needless to say this is nothing short of an abysmal meal. but a let down with no other than smash and aunt betsy’s yorkshire puddings. wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy."

"I am surprised by the evaluation of this place to be honest. on the demand of some Indian food I have ordered here by vans. tried the aloo dum gravy, huhn tikka, wobble rings among many of their appetizers. my favorite here is the biryani. it is not the typical biryani that they get in India or elsewhere. it has a beautiful aroma and very gentle taste that loved me this place. I hope more people try this place and it will be a more deserved review."

"2nd visit here and was a spur of the moment meal. Staff really on the ball to get menu and drinks sorted. Nice poppadoms and pickles tray to start, then a Dhansak which was sweer rather than hot and sour, still really good. Washed down with a pint of bicycle club IPA, first for me and very drinkable. All that for a touch under £22. Bargain. Will be back next time I'm working in the area. Service: Dine in"

"This is one of my favourite curry houses in Solihull. Set in a lovely old building, the tables packed in so they can cater for large numbers but also spaced so they can also offer lots of 2’s and 4’s. The staff are really attentive and very efficient in getting your meal delivered in a timely manner. The menu is varied and there’s some really good specials including my favourite the Punjabi Murgh Massala. It’s quite essential to book but it’s easy to do via the website. Both Cobra and Kingfisher beers on tap."

"I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. It was impeccably clean, and the food was fresh and served warm. The service was friendly and attentive. They offer cans of Coke Zero, which I really appreciated, and you can also enjoy unlimited refills from the soda fountain. The pakora isn’t stored in a bain marie, which helps it avoid the sogginess often found in some buffet offerings. I went in with modest expectations and left quite impressed. I'll definitely return. I primarily tried the Indian dishes and a small slice of pizza, as the Chinese selection didn’t appeal to me. They also have pasta and Thai curry, so there’s something for everyone."

"Terrible really. It was busy. Shown to table and after mins had to grab a waiter to order a drink and popadoms. Drinks arrived. Food order given. Now half an hour gone. Couple on another table left, no service. Starter arrived, nice. Main course arrived after a further min wait ... chaos. Never seen such bad service in this restaurant. "We were a large group, who had booked weeks in advance. The food was good, but the service was incredibly slow. It took an hour to receive our starters after ordering, and another hour and a half after ordering mains (why weren't both orders taken at the same time? to receive our mains. It was a Saturday early evening. Our party arrived at 1730 and left at 2115. Way too long to wait as we had somewhere else to go to afterwards. We felt that the staff were just trying to encourage us to buy more drinks whilst we waited. Nothing wrong with attentive staff, but nearly 4 hours to finish our meal was unacceptable. The restaurant was not very busy, and to see other tables eat and leave before us was frustrating. The food was good, staff polite and friendly, but the experience let down by the slow service. First time Id been there and I will not return or recommend."

"I used to be a regular of The Viceroy about 30 years ago and at that time it was very busy, even at lunch times. Popped in about 9p.m.without a booking (Saturday) 25 February 2023 hoping we could get a table for two however it was surprisingly quiet and we were taken to a table immediately. Service: Excellent; all staff were very smartly dressed, attentive, and professional. Food: My brother and I had the Tikka Masala Garlic Chilli which was outstanding, absolutely delicious and plentiful. Garlic bread which again was perfectly delicious, with ‘chips’. The ‘chips’ however were ‘French fries’ and that’s a big NO! Chips is chips, not French fries! That said, it was our choice not to have rice, so I won’t let that detract from the quality of the curry! Restaurant: Structurally it hasn’t changed since 30 years ago, however; it has been decorated and it is a lot brighter than I remember previously. Played good music too. Would I recommend? YES"

"This small, cozy, hidden gem is one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. From the moment we walked in, everything was exceptional. The customer service was excellent, and the staff were knowledgeable. From starters to main courses, everything was perfect. As a food enthusiast who has tried butter chicken from all around the world, I must say that their specialty butter chicken ranks in the top 3 on my list. "The best Indian takeaway in Brighton I've had. They have plenty of gluten free options and the food tastes amazing. We got chicken bhuna and Shahi chef special lamb curry both were the best I've tasted. The onion bhaji also tasted great and they give you three rather large ones for one portion. Overall great service, they gave us free basmati rice and poppadoms, and the chicken bhuna came with a free onion salad. The food arrived hot which is rare for us as we are relatively far out from Brighton centre. Will definitely order from here again."
