"Would recommend this afternoon tea, we went for a birthday celebration. The staff are lovely, very friendly and the service was excellent. The sandwiches were full of flavour and you could have extra if you wanted them. The savouries which arrived on the bottom plate of the cake stand were not to our taste, but the cakes were lovely and again refills are offered. They give you nice little handbag boxes to take home any cakes that you cant manage to eat. Definitely worth a visit."

"We visited Ponti’s on a Friday early evening for my wife’s birthday. It was a great experience from start to finish. Firstly the staff were all really friendly and welcoming. There was a good selection of drinks. We had Parmigiana and Truffle Arancina for starters, both of which were amazing. Then Fettucine Salmone and Linguine ai Gamberi for main both were great. They made a lovely gesture for my wife by bringing out a complimentary dessert. Overall fantastic"

"The service was friendly enough to forgive their inability to bring us any mayonnaise after asking 3 different waiters, but hated it when they brought the bill without asking and ‘politely’ reminded me to hurry up so the next table could sit down to keep to their 90 minute turnover time. Although the starters were so-so, the pizzas were worth coming back for, and overall it’s a great place to come with friends if you can’t be bothered to head central. It has a real buzz that you tend not to get outside of Soho or Shoreditch, and for this reason alone it’s worth coming for. But it isn’t cheap. When you think of going for a pizza you’d expect to be all in for around £20. This...read more"

"Although most chain restaurants serve okay food, I was disappointed by the quality of the food served here. The restaurant itself is a good size, and being in a part of five we were seated upstairs. There were not many appetizing vegetarian dishes on the menu for a reasonable price so I decided to settle on penne in a garlic sauce. The portion size was decent but my food was bland, and greasy. Could not taste any flavours at all! It was not worth it's price which was around The food was not that great and I would definately not go back again."

"We recently returned from Edinburgh. During our travels we walked past Ciao Roma and noted the gelato counter and cannoli in the window. As we were full from our dinner at another restaurant we decided to return the next day. When we visited we were greeted by a nice lady behind the counter. We chose our gelato from the counter, which were tasty and nice. I asked if the Cannoli was fresh and if the filling was ricotta. I was advised yes they are made freshly on site and the large cannoli are filled with ricotta and the smaller ones were butter cream. We purchased two large cannolis, one chocolate and one pistachio. There is no eat in for gelato or cannoli so we took the cannoli back to our hotel. When we tried the cannoli approximately 20 minutes later I was not pleased. The ricotta filling was nice, but the shell was soft and almost stale like. Cannoli shells should be crisp and have a crunch. This was just soft and a big disappointment. If you love your cannoli and get tempted by the looks, steer clear is my advice."

"I commiserate with all those at VICINO who were suddenly severely understaffed and thus had to cut back the menu to the bare minimum leaving very little choice for customers. A great pity because normally, VICINO is known for well cooked traditional Italian dishes with a good choice fir everyone. Last night, the choice, the atmosphere and the mood were low. I’m sure it will recover because it is a Fulham staple. Look forward to a recovery"

"Visiting on business trip and decided to try this restaurant out. The food was good but there was a lack of engagement from staff, we are used to excellent customer service from other local restaurants. We were offered water and accepted but believed this was complimentary due to how it was offered, we were astonished to find out we had been charged around £5. It should have been made clear that there was a charge for this. The food, albeit good, took a while to arrive with little interaction from the staff who appeared to be chatting amongst themselves. We were further shocked and surprised by the service charge on the bill. This is not so.ething we are used to or have experienced before, as I say, we are visiting on business. I have since learned that this is optional and we could have refused it but this was not made clear and we felt forced to pay it. All in all this visit left us feeling somewhat disappointed and underwhelmed. Please be more clear with what is being charged for and the options to those expected to pay!"

"fodmap friendly restaurant! the menu is full of garlic and wobble free, which was good to find. Although the items provided with gluten were not specifically marked, we could tell the personal what was suitable and if possible left the bread pieces on the side, so that both I and the rest of the table could enjoy it. we had a one-pot that was absolutely delicious and tried several of the cheese. it was so pleasant to go to a restaurant where we could order several dishes for the table and I could eat 80% of what we had ordered. I do not think that most of the foods in themselves was excellent, but for everyone on the fodmap diet (although obviously there is quite a lot of lactose if they want to go for the main attraction when they ate meat, I still think they would be good.) the staff was attentive, friendly and very careful to make it clear what I could/can not eat. a great meal with tellers for 5, with two beers, two soft drinks, 5 little gloomy and a coffee came to about £150, so I don't think that's too bad at all. I would like to see some gluten-free brot though! wheelchair access: a small step into the restaurant that was perfectly manageable in a high chair, tables are good for driving under, but the toilet is above."

"We were a group of 12 and this was one of the few places that could accommodate us and reserved our table as well. Staff were very polite, professional, well mannered and not pushy in trying to get us to order more than we needed. Food was made quickly, presented well, was hot and tasted delicious too. The lighting is a bit dim, but sufficient for the atmosphere I believe. Staff were also considerate and ensured all sauces, plates, cutlery etc were on the table before the food and they got a few extra plates for us as we had said that we would be sharing some of the dishes. Overall really impressed. Also, the toilet was clean and well maintained. I really loved the table as it looked like it was made from the truck of a tree! Keep up the good work."
"Haven't visited this place recently, as we've not had many warm summer evenings of late, but and these seem few and far between. The restaurant is one of a chain of Spaghetti Houses in central London and is within easy walking distance of the British Museum. Its charm is the large, open air shopping arcade in which it is situated. It itself, this restaurant is a decent, run-of-the-mill outlet specialising in simple, Italian dishes, all suitably tuned to the average, British taste. The wine list is standard and has a good range of low-budget wines to suit just about any non-discerning wine buff. The menu is simple and not too detailed, but with enough choice to cater for (almost) every carnivore, with vegetarian options available too. The choice of pasta dishes is extensive and they always seem to find special shapes of pasta that you just cannot buy in any shop! The quality of the food has never disappointed. The thing that has always attracted us to this place is not just the tasty pasta dishes, but also the wide, quite grand, Victorian' arcade. It is lined with small shops and book stores and the restaurant has created a very pleasant and comfortable dining area with rows of tables and chairs to the side of the walkway. So simple, yet very useful if you don't want to sit inside a warm, crowded restaurant in the summer or if you have a pushchair and young children, or if you have an elderly relative with a zimmer frame or in a wheelchair. The staff are always really good with young children and very friendly. Each time we've visited they have always been an all-Italian crew. And very jolly they are too!"

"I have dined at this restaurant multiple times and have not experienced any major reactions. The pizza is cooked in a shared oven, increasing the risk of cross contamination. However, there are other menu options such as salad and burrata available. The pizza is delicious and the overall food quality is excellent."

"This is a great restaurant, especially for those with a baby in a large stroller or a toddler. The space is roomy enough for everyone, it's conveniently located near the center, and the food is fantastic. I will definitely return!"

"Went here randomly and did not regret it. It was empty when we arrived but started filling up when we were in there. We were initially apprehensive but it did not disappoint. I had the garlic mushrooms to start and they are probably the best garlic mushrooms I have even had!!! Our server was lovely (her name escapes me! but Ronnie, the manager, is a top guy. These guys deserve every success. Highly recommended."

"The restaurant was extremely quiet and the main dishes took a long time to be served. When they finally arrived, the side dishes were cold, which was surprising considering there were only 6 people in the restaurant. The steak was flavorful but a little tough. The service was not very good, as we had to repeatedly ask for water. The staff was accommodating in taking items off the bill for being cold, but overall I would not return to this restaurant."

"My wife and I make it a point to have a meal out at least once a month. Our previous experiences at this restaurant have been very good. We started with appetizers as usual, but when I ordered a medium rare filet steak, it came out well-done. I was disappointed to hear the staff try to convince me that it was cooked to the correct temperature. I shouldn't have to explain the difference between medium rare and well-done. Eventually, they replaced my steak with a medium rare one, but only after my wife had finished her meal."

"This restaurant was absolutely worth 5 stars! The outstanding service, the fabulous food and the stunning location with views of Pulteney Bridge and the River Avon. The inside of the restaurant had beautiful beams and fairy lights too. I had the lamb ragu which was cooked to perfection, the lamb fell apart in my mouth and the pasta was al dente, the sauce and portion size was perfect! My husband loved the pork and my son also loved his pizza, we tried bits of eachothers and agreed this was definitely some of the best food we have eaten. We also had the selection of meats and cheese, olives and bread which was excellent. The calamari and monkfish was delicious and again portion size was spot on. The chocolate souffle was cooked perfectly too. The chefs did a fantastic job with the food and should be commended !"

"I don't normally eat in places that also serve meat, but I was told they had a separate vegan menu and decided to give them a go. I'm glad I did. I had a vegan cheese pizza with various toppings, a pint of beer, and a very tasty chocolate torte with ice cream for dessert. The place was pleasant and the food satisfying. I should note that it was the most expensive place I ate at in Manchester though the other five places (all veggie/vegan) were cheaper. I would eat at Zizzi again, definitely. It was their vegan menu that pulled me in. As an aside, I was with some Italian family. They spoke Italian with one member of staff, assuming he would understand, but he didn't speak Italian. I'm not sure if that was an exception or not, but as a chain it is obviously not quite as Italian as it likes to appear."

"Food and drinks were good, but our server Caleb made our dining experience great! Has been a while since I’ve received such great service like I did tonight. Nothing was an issue for Caleb, he was very helpful and attentive, and was a great guy to chat with! Such a friendly member of staff and a credit to your branch! I will most definitely be turning to your restaurant, myself and my family had a great dinner."
