"With so many locations across the UK and the rest of the world Nando’s can sometimes can be inconsistent. This was one of the better branches I have been to in a long time. The staff were warm and welcoming. I was seated quickly and the table was clean. Most important of all the food was hot, tasty and well presented. I would certainly recommend this branch to Nando’s fans."

"The ‘big bagel’ was nice enough as were the chips. Sweet friendly waitress. Please do not order the nachos-they are flavourless and in my opinion the tortilla chips a little stale. Was a little hard work trying to get someone’s attention for the bill. I think they could do with one more member of staff to keep things running more smoothly eg clearing tables, wiping down seats and supplying the bill more promptly. I voiced my opinion at the time re the nachos but was met with a vacant stare and a ‘no ones ever complained about them before ‘. They bizarrely offered to take 10% off the cost of the nachos. A more commercially savvy response would have been ‘so sorry you didn’t like the nachos Ill take them off the bill as you’ve barely touched them. Hope to see you again next time’ There’s lots of competition in the area who in my opinion offer waaay better service. I believe the owner was behind the counter at the time who took no ownership of the situation-that was a shame but hey ho that’s why some businesses succeed and others don’t stand the test of time."

"we visited, well, discovered, zizzi almost random. when we had the first visit of the hull truck theatre to the birthday, we looked somewhere to park and eat somewhere. we both discovered at stephen’s. we didn't know zizzi was in the shopping center. we thought it was on the road. we could go from car to restaurant without going outside was a bonus for a dark, cold, february evening! for a restaurant in a food court we were pleasantly surprised. although it is not a high end, it is an independent italian, it is a good quality chain outlet. the staff was friendly and helpful. eating was delicious and, even for a half week meal, we didn't think it was too expensive. the wine card was concise, we went for a midst of the priced bottle, which was pleasant and served in beautiful, clean glasses. we had dinners and in general, so I can't comment on desserts. we don't make people. we enjoyed our meal very much. I had the spit and the laughter while nabenby had a calzone. both were delicious. my Italian melted cheese starter should die. hubby also recommends the wild pig meat balls. we had time constraints, and the personal has this without rushing. they were very helpful to tell us how to find hull truck and how to deal with our parking exit at the end of the night. we will definitely return, especially when we visit hull truck again. it makes a very pleasant evening. good eating, good wine and a good night in the theater. what is not to like!"

"Charming cinema with a beautiful historical interior and great personable staff. I will always remember The Gate not because of the screen size or interior but the people there. I watched Tenet which was amazing. Funnily enough, I accidentally left a sentimental plant in a Pret bag on my seat. As the cinema closed, I realised what I had done and rushed back to find my plant. Luckily Lee was at the bar closing up and I caught him just as he was about to leave. Lee helped me look in the bins, at my seat area, in the bathroom bins and in the lost property to no avail. The plant is a Golden Pothos cutting gifted to me by Julian the barista from Leafwild Cafe. I was commenting on his plants and how I love hanging plants and have 50 plants at home. He offered me a cutting which was a pure act of kindness. Although closing, Lee helped me look everywhere he could which I am grateful for. As I had lost all hope, I left my details behind in case it showed up. As one last suggestion, he thought we could look at the garbage outside. After looking through 3 bags, there it was. I gifted Lee a stem of the cutting as thanks. Thank you for being human and helping me find my sentimental plant. Even though it seems insignificant Lee could see that it meant something to me and helped me find it. Thanks so much! Keep up the great work and compassion. Kevin."

"We went for the premium tasting menu the food was wonderful and we had a great evening. I've just been looking at the amazing pictures on the gallery of the TripAdvisor page and yes, the presentation was as immaculate as that, it really was that good so many tastes and textures! Our main (more senior) server was excellent, however one particular server was not up to the standard I imagine Roka expects he didn't explain the dishes like the others did, just mumbled a few words and actually looked the other direction when he put them down zero engagement even when I tried to smile and catch his eye. I mentioned it at the time to the more senior one after a few instances and we didn't see the problematic one again. Perhaps coincidence but I would like to think they took quick action, it seemed like they listened. So I'm extremely reluctant not to give the full 5 stars but that's the difference between a five and a four star experience on the day. I would heartily recommend Roka though (it was my first time there). We were a party of three I think sometimes that meant we were lucky enough to get generous portions when some dishes suited two sharing. That might have been my imagination but it definitely felt like value for money. We went at 6pm and the place was buzzing then."

"they have some great options at zizzi especially if they are for example for all at a family event. the walls were unique and was delicious as it would be served with a little brot nice to mop the remaining tomato sauce. the pizza is standard and it is great to have vegan cheese on them. the chocolate cake is amazing as always. the desert cold zone was disappointing, the calzone was mostly only teig with a piece of banana and spoon of jam in it, but the gelato was delicious. the bad points were the atmosphere that it was very loud, the staff cried and the staff made unnecessary amount of nieren. price is reasonable. Obviously, as always, there are animal products to add the poor atmosphere."

"I visited this restaurant with some friends on New Year's Eve. We had made a reservation and were seated promptly, despite the busy atmosphere. However, we waited over 20 minutes for someone to take our order. I had to approach a waitress to finally be attended to. We placed our food and drink orders all at once, but waited an additional 30 minutes for our drinks. After seeing another table who arrived after us receive their drinks before us, a friend complained and our drinks arrived shortly after. By this point, we had waited over 50 minutes just for a drink since being seated. The food arrived around 20 minutes later and was delicious, so no complaints there. I understand that the staff were overwhelmed that night, but it was still poor customer service. It seemed like they were more concerned with seating as many people as possible rather than attending to those already in the restaurant. In conclusion, I do not recommend visiting this restaurant on a busy night as the service may be disappointing."

"Just around the corner from the Marble Arch Hard Rock Hotel, we discovered a lovely Italian restaurant. The greeting and service were outstanding, and there were tables available both indoors and outdoors. We were accompanied by my 7-year-old grandson, who enjoyed his meal from the bambino menu. The starters were excellent—I highly recommend the warm focaccia paired with an Italian broth. For our mains, we had spaghetti Bolognese and pizza, followed by gelato and tiramisu for dessert. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was calm, providing a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of the city."

"amazing service of john here today. my own and a friend had 2 small children in the tow and he was so courteous to bring the coloring in the menus and in the crayons for the young. I was also recently vegan and have not taken to vegan cheese. that made me understand how to taste the vegan pizza. john assured me, however, that many vegans have rated their cheese as the best and it is made from rice milk. he said I should order it and if I didn't like it, he would give me the vegan ragu and spaghetti for free! I ordered it and it was delicious, nothing like my previous vegan pizza experience. so you don't need to replace him on his offer, my restored believe in vegan cheese was enough! he even gave my son free ice when he almost slept through the meal. can't evaluate my experience high enough. fantastic al fresco meal with an amazingly helpful host. two indecisive mothers, a vegan and two living little children had a great time. will be visited again in any case. thanks zizzi especially john!"

"The staff were excellent, efficient and polite. Me being me had an awkward order mixing up the menu choices and the Manager came to our table and then ensured my request was carried through which it was. So I was impressed by the personal touch from the management. The food and service were great. I would have had another fried chicken if I had room for it. "Pre-marathon carb-loading meal so I needed it to be early (6.30 table) and not messed around by an incompetent waiter who lied about the reason for a 40+mins delay to serving our main courses. Food was functional at best. Disappointing evening, not worth the money. At least the poor service saved us the expense of dessert, more drinks and a tip. Freezing cold in there too. Much better when it was Auberge, not this soulless dump."

"We booked here for ourselves and family 2 weeks previous to the visit, they had traveled a good distance for Easter, we had our starers but we were very disappointed to wait over an hour for pizzas, when I asked about the food as we were the last ones sitting in the restaurant, the waitress said it was just coming.. funny that.. pizza arrived Luke warm. So the food was ready just not served, very disappointing, would not recommend... will try wild woods next time."
