"I have been here multiple times and received nice food however upon my most recent visits I have been thoroughly dissatisfied. My most recent, and frankly most appalling, visit was today (15/09/22), I brought a family member with me after having recommended the burrito bar a few times; expecting to have a high quality experience. However, unfortunately, we did not. My family member was served first and successfully, they were treated wonderfully by the member of staff and seem rather happy with their meal. For me however, the female that served me had poor customer service skills, her voice was monotone, appearing rather bored, and her questions of what fillings I liked were not that clear. While wrapping my burrito the employee herself noticed the vast amount of liquid just pouring out of my mea and did nothing, it looked disgusting. After sitting down I opened up my burrito to mass amounts of liquid just dripping out, I don’t even know what it was! I struggled to eat my meal as it was falling apart alongside being wet and cold. My tortilla was just disintegrating due to how soggy it was. After finishing my hands were dripping in said liquid. The “spicy” beans tasted like watered down heinz and my chicken was not nice. My “tomato” rice also tasted plain. I did not enjoy my meal at all, the best part was my can of pop. This place is extremely hit or miss recently, I have no idea what has changed but it is no longer nice. I have also attached a photo of my family members meal who was prepared by the male member of staff. I did not enjoy my food at all but my family member “somewhat” enjoyed theirs at least."

"What can I say, Tropicana was amazing. It was me and my missus’ first visit and boy, they did not disappoint. When you first enter the main entrance, you go up a flight of stairs but I like the idea how they made the place very ‘tropical’ with all the palm tree settings and paradise looking pictures and even the sounds of waves made it feel like you was in tropical place. As soon as you enter the main area, again there are more palm tree settings and there’s a circular dance floor right in the middle of the building. You have benches just outside of the dance floor and the bars are on the ‘upper’ section of the building. Food Drink We arrived there for 6PM and I believe happy hour is from 5 till 8. The majority of the cocktails are £10 but they are so worth it. You pretty much get more for your money here than places that do cocktails for £12.50 and get a lot less. The food was good. I got the jerk chicken wings starter and had the buttermilk chicken meal that came with rice and slaw. My Missus got the chicken skewers as the starter and the same main meal. The prices are affordable but I must warn you….the food is spicy. If you don’t like spice, then I suggest you stay away from jerk meals as this could potentially put you off the food……didn’t bother me though. I loved it all the same lol. Entertainment At 8 and 9 there were dancers performing on stage to different music and putting on a good show. The Performers stood at different areas such as around the floor or even on the tables lool. It was really fun and then from then on, the DJ was playing some nice mixes of music which pretty much catered to all ethnicities. The music would range from pop, old school hits, reggaeton, reggae music….I liked the reggae and reggaeton music to be fair and me and missus definitely got down to the music lol! Overall, the night was brilliant and I would definitely do it again. Thank you Tropicana and see you again soon!"

"I booked Sunday lunch for my husband's birthday and asked for a table for 4 adults, 1 child and a high chair for a toddler. When we arrived, not only was the table not ready, it hadn't even been wiped clean and yet, we were the first customers to arrive at 12.15pm. Did that mean nothing had been done since breakfast time? The waitress had to go and look for the high chair we'd asked for in advance. Worse was to come. Nobody approached us for a drinks order and the waitress only gave one of our party a proper food menu, everyone else got drink and snack menus only. There was hardly anything on the menu anyway and certainly no Sunday roast, the one thing we'd been hoping for on a Sunday... The waitress had to ask us to repeat several parts of our order because there was a conference party arriving in reception that were quite noisy. The layout of the restaurant is open plan straight onto Reception quite strange really and not at all conducive to a quiet family meal. Then, we were told that the fish platter two of us ordered was no longer available.... although it was only 12.30pm and we were the first people there, so how come there was none left? If the fish ran out on the Saturday, surely it should have been taken off the menu? I was really annoyed because the lack of care and attention, the noise levels and the lack of anything decent on the menu spoiled my husband's birthday, so I decided to vote with my feet and told the waitress that none of this was good enough. This was meant to be a birthday lunch, nothing was ready, nothing we wanted to eat was available, so we were leaving. She looked shocked, but didn't even have the grace to apologise on behalf of the venue. We drove a mile down the road to a much more welcoming venue called The Swan and had a beautiful lunch there with friendly, welcoming staff...and it was much cheaper than the significantly overpriced dishes we saw on the menu!"
