"Overall, my experience at the restaurant was just okay, but definitely not worth the money. The tapas dishes were delicious and nicely presented, especially the arancini and tuna tacos. However, the risotto with chicken and spinach was overcooked and too watery, and the BBQ chicken pizza was extremely spicy, almost impossible to eat. Additionally, when we tried to order, we were informed that four dishes on the menu were unavailable due to a busy day the previous day. It would have been nice if they could have prepared some alternative dishes instead. The service was attentive and efficient."

"We stayed in the Ash Barn Annex in October for one night before a flight next day . The food in the pub was ok , however the room we were given was awful , room . The convection heater on the wall did...not work , there was a small fan heater so we used that but it was still cold in there . There was just a sheet on top of the mattress no protector and there was something that looked like blood on the mattress . The bed was uncomfortable and creeky . There was a rusty toilet brush in the bathroom and the mirror had splash marks on it . The kettle had old water in it and loads of lime scale . We left our car in the pub car park for a week while we were on holiday , this was fine . It’s a shame the room let it down ."

"We managed to secure a last-minute reservation at this restaurant, which was convenient after a day out. We arrived at 5pm and promptly placed our drink orders with the waiter. Unfortunately, there was a 20-minute delay before our food order was taken and an additional 15-20 minute wait after finishing our starters for the plates to be cleared. Throughout our meal, we observed staff members standing around chatting, using their phones, and eating. The main course was satisfactory, but no one checked on us for sauces or more drinks; we had to go to the bar to get their attention. Overall, it was not a pleasant dining experience and we have no intention of returning in the near future."

"Food, drink and service was an excellent standard as always. The mezze starter was delicious food heaven. The rest of our meal was also really good. We love Cena. Feedback perhaps would be to say the vegan mushroom pizza needs a different cheese and tomato component. It wasn't that great and I've enjoyed other pizzas there a lot more. An excellent idea to have a vegan option though."

"We made a table reservation for wife's birthday. When we got there we couldn't find a table with our name plaque, it was a few minutes before we were approached and directed to the next free table. It was not reserved, was not very clean, no candle, no salt. It would be nice to come to a nicely prepped table especially that we booked it for special occasion. It was our first visit it would be beneficial to receive some sort of instruction from the staff who sat us down, as to if order by the bar or if we will be served, so we had to find out ourselves. The food was tasty and good, delivered promptly.The garden is fantastic. Staff kind and was working hard. The only problem was the garden is not fenced off and adjacent to the car park, so we had our hands full having to watch after out boy rather than relax in our seats..."

"Great food, nice tea selection. The service left something to be desired. It would take 5 to 10 minutes for a pot of tea to make it's way to the table after ordering, which the waiter/waitress would pour into your cup straight away, even if it was not brewed at all yet. My partner had an empty pot removed without querying whether or not she would like a replacement, we had to ask for another one after about 10 minutes. I finished the booking with a hot chocolate that was room temperature by the time it arrived, and then had to ask for the bill twice as the waiter forgot to bring it. After saying that, the food is amazing. Everything tastes seriously fresh. The bruschettas and tacos are spot on. The scones are tasty and the cakes are amazing (flourless chocolate orange cake in particular). Definitely worth visiting!"
