Afternoon Tea At Monmouth Kitchen, Covent Garden

Fantastic spot for afternoon tea in London at a really great price! Ambiance and service were impeccable. Highly recommend.

Perfect! Super service, our waiter Stan made us feel welcom and spescial, and the food, tea and champagne was delicious! The atmosphere, where perfect! Highly venerated!

Nice twist on the traditional English afternoon tea. Scone flavours were not as punchy as I had hoped they would be but the salmon tacos, the bruschetta and the whole of the top tier were delicious!

I had booked the afternoon tea as a Christmas present for my brother and sister-in-law and was very pleased with the selection and quality of this. I would definitely recommend the afternoon tea as an excellent alternative to the usual tea

I had a wonderful afternoon tea experience at this restaurant! The variety of breads used for the sandwiches was a delightful surprise. The desserts were also delicious. However, it was still lunchtime, and the lively conversations made the atmosphere a bit loud for my liking. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely love to visit again.

A pleasant afternoon tea! As usual the service was exceptional and Lara and her team were attentive and very helpful. Overall the food was delicious and I liked the choices of bruschetta, the panna cotta and the tiny tacos. Although the scones were quite dry! Tea was unlimited and there was the option to have processo at an extra cost. Makes a nice change from the traditional English tea and worth a try!

We had a delightful experience with the Charbonnel et Walker Afternoon Tea. The sandwiches were fantastic and featured some unique flavors; I particularly loved the smoked salmon on sour cherry bread. The scones were freshly baked and still warm when we had them—light, fluffy, and absolutely perfect. The cakes and desserts were equally delicious, and the truffles added a lovely finishing touch. The service was excellent, with the staff regularly checking in to ensure we were enjoying our meal and refilling our hot drinks. I will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic food, new and exciting tastes to share tapas-style from a wide selection of cultures, tailored to spice cravers, ceviche connoisseurs, and leaf lovers all sharing a table for lunch. Learned a thing or two about South American food from our charming and attentive host as the plates arrived, even shared some experiences of food from the past, nostalgically. At the end an artisanal congratulatory chocolate plate arrived to top off a top experience. Very decent white wine selections kept the conversation at the right temperature. We are coming back! Great food, nice tea selection. The service left something to be desired. It would take 5 to 10 minutes for a pot of tea to make it's way to the table after ordering, which the waiter/waitress would pour into your cup straight away, even if it was not brewed at all yet. My partner had an empty pot removed without querying whether or not she would like a replacement, we had to ask for another one after about 10 minutes. I finished the booking with a hot chocolate that was room temperature by the time it arrived, and then had to ask for the bill twice as the waiter forgot to bring it.
