"I am extremely disappointed with the food and quality of this restaurant. Initially, I requested fish but was told it was sold out, so I settled for portabello mushrooms. However, I was informed that they only had breaded mushrooms, which I declined. I also ordered prawns in garlic and chicken wings. When the chicken wings arrived, they were cold. After sending them back, they were returned very hot, which was satisfactory. The other three meals were decent but not great, and all portions of chips were cold. I will not be returning to this restaurant, and I will be sharing my negative experience with friends."

"As a frequent visitor here we booked a table here last night to bring our daughter and grandchildren out for a couple of hours, firstly we wasn’t given the high chair we asked for but we overlooked that we ordered food and drink by our server a young lad pretty cheerful but looked over worked , starters arrived which was to put it one way was well done but we ate them none the less, the kids meals arrived as he offered them to us he was using a tea towel I took the plates and they were so hot, god knows what would have happened to the kids hands if they touched them, so they had to wait for the plates to cool down before eating after what seemed an age our mains arrived my daughter said right away that my burger looked well done and dry, she was spot on It did take around 15 minutes to get our servers attention as he was running around getting to keep his tables happy, I don’t for one minute think he was to blame for any of it, by the time he did come a just told him to take it off the bill as it sort of turned me off, the table next to us had a bit of fish and chips which he returned for being over cooked I don’t know if it was overly busy or a new chef but these things shouldn’t happen and the toilets where the bins are overflowing with paper isn’t good either,it’s really needs to be looked at whether it’s low staff numbers or people who shouldn’t be in the kitchen"

"If the door had been shut and all the staff were round the back smoking fags, I would have felt more welcome than I did tonight... I was served by a Young kid with no social skills, who didn 't even say hello and just addressed me by saying what ja wont but with an attitude of such pointed disinterest that not even Voldemort would have bothered with him. Moreover, things got even worse when, to my greater astonishment, I discovered that the pile of dripping, sticky nastiness in the middle of the room was actually the self-service area for coffee accessories. DISGUSTING!"

"I myself and two friends went there to feed. the waitress was fantastic, very efficient and friendly, and I have no complaints in this area. the starters we ordered were not available as we are the main courses. this has really distracted from all the experience when they have made that they think what they will eat and they are preparing to just say that it is not available, not even, but twice! not only that, but the FULL rack of ripening looked as if they were coming from a tiny ferkel, not as I remember! this was served with a teespoon coleslaw (I don't want) and seven chips. all in all a very disappointing experience."

"I really enjoyed my steak cooked to perfection, just the way I like it! It had a nice charred flavor without being tough. My friends ordered the spicy glazed ribs and loved them. They thought there were a few too many fries, but they'd rather have too many than too few. It was a great family night out, and even though the staff was busy, they took good care of us."

"We had reserved a table, so there was no wait upon arrival. However, we were disappointed to find out that they did not have fish and chips available. The vegetarian options were limited and not very appealing. Upon being seated, we were not asked about our drink preferences. When we finally got the waitress's attention for drinks, we were informed that there was no drink menu available, leaving us unsure of prices. It was also challenging to get the waitress's attention between courses."

"So where to begin ok first time for me going to this Harvester and once parked up walking to the entrance I noticed the sign hanging on the wall in need of repair and overall you can see it's not been looked after or maintained for a few years, once inside we were ushered to our table, Once sat down we were offered the menu mine had the added bonus of dried food stuck inside the menu as well as someone's hair lucky me. After ordering food and drinks we were offered to go to the salad bar and pick choices which were added to the bowls all good although the Harvester salad cart isn't anything like the Harvester of years ago Back at the table and first forkful of mixed salad I realised the fork I used had left over food welded to the prongs another surprise I wasn't expecting. Looking around and you realise this venue hasn't been maintained or cleaned properly for a very long time, dust and grease on the lampshades stains on Paint skirting boards coming away from structures and I don't think the outside seating area has seen a jetwash in the last few years. Going to the toilet! Well what can I say that's positive the hand dryer works well! So cubicle covered in graffiti tags and clearly the cleaning team don't go anywhere near the back of the toilet as it's clearly not seen a cleaning cloth mop or bleach in years! The hot water on sink 1 doesn't work and the hot water on sink 2 doesn't get hot So back to the food I ordered the mix grill with rump steak having watched someone opposite trying to cut his streak that kinda looked like boot leather I asked for medium rare hopefully it'll arrive medium, I was right to a degree it was cooked way beyond medium rare and medium in fact it was beyond well but it was edible The size of the meal is enormous but the gammon is unbelievably salty and again cooked a lot longer than necessary but again edible Overall it's very disappointing and it's not a venue I'll return to until the owners decide to update the property and show improvement to the state of the toilets and overall cleaning standard as well as repairs, The only positive I can say is the service staff do genuinely try and give you a positive and enjoyable experience it's just a shame the management owners don't give them a nice environment to work in."

"We went for a family dinner on a Friday, which was booked the day before. Booking the table itself was very easy automated via mobile. The Harvester pub has a fairly big car park. The ambiance was great with plenty of outside seating, which sadly couldn't be availed that day due to rain. We were served by the friendly Naomi. The menu has a very good spread and is moderately priced. We thoroughly enjoyed the tapas style 4 item starter. The burgers ordered by me and my son, and the mixed grill ordered by wife were delicious. We also enjoyed the complimentary unlimited salad section. We were too full to try out dessert, despite the options sounding yummy. Overall it was a lovely dining experience."

"This is a good place to dine on a day out en route to Portsmouth. Excellent booking service, easy parking, a friendly welcome on arrival, prompt and attentive service, relaxed atmosphere and good food . One unfortunate hiccup with the dessert. There was an unwanted piece of wrapping paper in the Ice Cream Sundae. The waitress reported it to the kitchen and we were not charged for the desserts. Nevertheless, it is very likely that we will go there again."

"My booking via the app hadn’t actually registered on the restaurant’s system, which was both disappointing and bemusing. Luckily, there was space in the place for us to just get a table at the door. The food, as always, was very decent for the price (6/10) and the service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and provided brilliant care. However, the refill drinks machine was poor. Most of the options in it were flat at the time. Overall, it’s a good restaurant: tasty food and a reliable experience, if a little unspectacular on the whole."

"I found it very convenient to book a table online, and my reservation was confirmed almost immediately. Upon arrival, we received a warm and friendly welcome, and even though we were a bit early, they happily seated us. Our waiter was incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive throughout our meal. We were lucky to have a great spot near the salad bar and soft drinks station. Our meals arrived quickly, were served piping hot, and tasted amazing. I especially loved the Passion Fruit and Mango dessert! I can’t wait to visit again soon!"

"I love this place! My Bestest M8 suggested this pub as a venue for a lunch to celebrate my 60th birthday with a few friends and their dogs. My Son is a wheelchair user and was able to navigate quite easily too. The low ceiling beams and open fire were very welcoming. From the off, the staff were extremely helpful efficient friendly. The other patrons were lovely. The food was lovely. Generous portions. Well cooked and very tasty. My friends were naughty. They'd got me a cake! The whole pub sang Happy Birthday to me. Erkkkk. I had trouble getting a cab home for my son I. The staff made sure we weren't hassled out to make way for others. Very caring! We are going to visit again. We love it at The Ship. Thank you for the wonderful experience."

"Generally it's not too bad here, but on this occasion the staff seemed stressed, took over thirty minutes for the mains to arrive and when they did the chicken was extremely dry (usually not anywhere near this bad). We noted that food was being left on the counter for long durations whilst the staff ran around trying to appease people. One family nearby walked out without paying as they were so disgusted by the way the food tasted. Normally we're quite happy based on the price that you pay, but this time even the fact that the Harvester is generally cheap it shouldn't be this bad. We hope it's just a one off... has made us think twice about returning."

"I live only 2min away from the arnos arms (I know, so happy, right? I'm so happy what they made from the previous harvester where I never had set foot to be honest. now it is completely changed and it is made so beautiful! the interior design is very modern, cozy and light. I love the tables, chairs, lighting, decoration and as it is divided into different areas (bar restaurant for rent etc. really fabulous. what I noticed during each visit – and I was already a few times – is that the personal is so friendly and attentive. it is rare to find this in london. also they have a great selection of food (they can actually eat there at any hour of the day: breakfast, brunch, lunch etc. and drinks (factory etc.). - and eating is over the typical pub standard, very tasty. also they have some cool events offers, like pub quiz on Monday, frying on Wednesday, craft beer lkw on Friday, 2-4-1 Sunday roast etc. as I live near, it is now my place for a fast drink, breakfast with friends, etc. I will definitiw a normal! <3 keep up the good work! that has become such a great place!"

"Been Today as a Post Celebration Meal. Amazing Service, Rather Quick. Food was very Nice. The only complaint i have preventing a 5 star review is the ongoing covid restrictions around the Salad Bar. I honestly find it quite shocking that while the whole world has begun to move on from the pandemic, this chain of restaurants is staying to procedures. I don't quite understand why we cannot make-up our own salads still, it would move much faster rather than letting a queue of people build up and putting pressure on one member of staff to make them all if we could just make them ourselves."

"the staff just stood around or sat on a high table next to the bar chatting. the restaurant was empty tonight at 18.30 and it still took to be served. Bar employees were all too busy talks instead of telling us our drinks. at the end of the bar for 10 minutes. salatbar was a candied and naked, despite which please that it will be filled again. sign up at the door to say that they closed at 8 o'clock because of the essential maintenance tonight. service was terrible, eating was luke warm, will never come back. about the time this place closed its doors and allowed someone to turn it into a decent Bistro-Pub that needs gidea park."

"absolutely great place and fabulous staff. we were served by elaine (apologies, if I look the wrong) who was a first-class Notch service! she had a big sniper, who was very well after us all, made sure we were happy and let us laugh a few times. she even helped make a group photo of all of us with our Christmas dinner. this place is always one of the best / favorites for a few years and it is always down great eating good prices and excellent staff. now looks better since it was renovated! (as did not have the opportunity to go with kovid and work) and some friends who could not come ask us already in group chat when the next is how they want to come now!"
